It's evenings like this that keep me here. The peppers singing, the whippoorwill crying, the breeze full of lilac and spring. Then I get to walk up the road and say goodnight to the sun. This is home and always will be.
Happy Spring Equinox and a Blessed Ostara to those who celebrate! We are so excited for spring and to get busy with the hundreds of projects we have planned. Hopefully this leads to more activity on this blog. I miss y'all!
These "old wives tales" still ring true. The best thing we can do is learn to read the weather and the signs. The old ways are all the best ways sometimes!
Happy O'Shea has made his annual appearance!

It doesn't feel a lick like a Saturday night. It sucks worse than normal because I should be at my sister's place house sitting for the night. I was actually looking forward to it and spending the night with her dogs. The $40 and Filled Shells she was going to give me would be great right now too. Instead I'm hiding under this blanket again.
I've had a on and off headache all week. It's stress and a messed up sleep situation more than anything. Trying to keep everything going is maxing me out.
eBay has gone completely quite for me. Almost 2 weeks with no sales. Without shows or being able to do side flips I'm not making any money at all. Cell bill is due, electric bill payment is next week, I'm low on fuel oil and gas, and I'm running out of everything. This could not be happening at a worse time.
I continue to struggle to make Mom understand she needs to keep her ass at home. I took her for groceries Tuesday and she wanted to stop and talk to people. Then her and Dad went to the quiropractor on Thursday. She then sent Dad to the store because she just had to have tater tots for supper. Then they go to McDonald's yesterday and instead of going to drive thru they go inside to order. They are both over 70 and I'm super worried but I can't get through.
The weather has at least been decent even though it's a bit wet. 60s tommorow they say. I've got a little work done out and about. Yesterday I planted watermelon seeds and put them on top of my hot water heater. Hopefully in 4 weeks they can go outside. oh yeah I remember those beans that I planted and put on the hot water tank a couple months ago? I just fed sprouts to the chickens the other day. They absolutely loved them!
Well I guess that's enough for me for tonight. Sorry about the darkness in this post but it's life right now. Hope you are holding up well and staying safe. Blessed be.
When Dollar Tree has the .99¢ seed packets 4 For $1 this is what happens!

It's been a crazy couple of days!
First of all we left we could go tomorrow night for Kentucky. Drove all night getting there in the early afternoon. We loaded up the rig turned around and headed home. had to make a few more stops and we had planned but we still made it home by early Saturday afternoon.
I got to spend exactly 11 minutes at my house and I had to turn around and leave again. This time it was too Tamaqua PA for a show. The show went well and I actually made more money than I ever have at the merch table. another long drive home and I was exhausted when I got here.
Sleep found me shortly after I got home and I never actually woke up until the next afternoon. This happened to be my 42nd birthday but I didn't really get to enjoy it at all. Tyler did come up for a little bit and I got to enjoy a few minutes with him but I was in such a daze that it really wasn't worth anything. this is unfortunate because I haven't really even gotten to talk to him in the last couple weeks except for when we went bowling a couple Sundays ago. I soon fell back to sleep after he left and never woke up until 3:30 Monday morning. So you can tell exactly how my sleep schedule has been.
I was up pretty late Monday night and then had to get up early Tuesday morning to head off to Philadelphia. We had a meeting with one of the executives of Impact Wrestling. So we now find ourselves as the promotion team for their two upcoming TV tapings in May. This is great and an excellent opportunity for me and my crew.
You're at home not much has been going on. My cousin Has returned to taking care of the chickens and ask become a thorn in my side. I miss the days when they were just mine. she caught an attitude over the way I had been taken care of them even though I believe it was far superior to anything she did and never mind the fact that she basically abandoned them for 3 months. It's okay though I still get out and get an egg every now and then and that's all I really need until I can get my own set up going this summer hopefully.
The brakes on the cavalier are acting up. It's leaking fluid from somewhere and I'm not sure where. I can still manage to get around for now but this is another stress that I just can't deal with. I would have worked on them today but it was cold and windy here and my body said take a day off KJ.
Not sure what's coming up for the rest of this week except for the wrestlemania festivities. I really expected last year at this time that I would be there and I honestly had the chance to go, a free ticket to me and I had to turn it down because of my finances. such as life I guess when you're trying to do such an unconventional thing as I am.

Seems like another sleepless night for me. I'm getting pretty used to it. I've even taken to using #KJDontSleep
Pretty much been in a holding pattern last few days. The weekend went ok. We did a podcast Friday that really didn't get us anywhere. Saturday was fun but not as productive as I had hoped. Sunday Tyler and I went to a bowling fundraiser. It was a great time but too short and I bought us lunch. That was another expensive thing I could have done without. It's hard sometimes....
Our weather hasn't been too bad. Warmer anyway. They are saying 70 this Saturday!
I leave on Thursday night/Friday morning with a couple folks to go to Kentucky and pick up a new ring for NTW. I will get home Saturday morning just to turn around and head off to Tamaqua for a show. Crazy weekend! Then Tuesday it's to Philly for a meeting. Then it's Mania week!
This is insane!
Hope you got to enjoy today. I welcomed Spring with a long walk, a free DQ ice cream cone, a little thrifting, Walmart bargain hunting, and treasure hunted my way home. Now I'm looking out the window at a beautiful gigantic worm moon. Love this!

Had a pretty good weekend. Made over a hundred dollars at the show so that's a huge help. Lots of good networking too.
Our mini warm up last week was so nice. It got cooler Saturday but not horrible and starting Wednesday it's supposed to turn again. Lucky enough we had a lot of wind and that helped with the mud.
My sleep has been no better. I was up all of last night then crashed from 10-4. Makes it so hard to get stuff done.
Another big weekend coming. We have a huge show in Harrisburg on Saturday. I am a little nervous about this one. Hoping for a big crowd.
Under 2 weeks till my birthday, like that really means anything anymore.

Kind weird to be sitting here on a Monday night not worried about time or having to get to bed.....
Saturday was a great day and one of my better birthdays. I slept in then got around. Headed up to Mill Hall for TRUE Wrestling. It was a great show and I got to hang out with my BROTHER for the night. We did a really good podcast afterwards.
Yesterday was Easter and dinner at Mom's. We had the traditional Hamb dinner with all the fixings. My sister and brother in law came as did TYLER! We went on our annual trip to Bald Eagle State Park. Had a nice time there and git some wild foraged seeds and cuttings to plant. Dairy Queen was literally the cherry on top!
I ended up getting drunk last night and staying up all night. We git 4" of heavy wet snow anyway. Slept till 2 and that gave the sun time to melt away the snow.
Got out and burnt trash and tramped around the yard a bit before going to Mom's for leftovers.
Didn't get anything done after supper because my stomach went nuts. No drinks tonight!
Raw was boring and did absolutely nothing to increase my interest in Mania. Did manage some good tweets over on the SMA Twitter page.
Hoping to get more accomplished tomorrow!
