I spent the last two weeks working at the Lycoming County Fair. My best friend and myself pulled 10-15 hour days in the hot sun but had a blast. Its being able to do such things that lets me know I made the right decision when I embarked on this adventure!

Finally back on the hill! Been running since 11.
Shipped out 3 eBay packages. Really had a good after holiday weekend. Let's hope the post office is getting caught up a little....
Dropped recycling off in town.
First Walmart trip since February 7th. It didn't get any better while I was gone. Did grab a couple Christmas clearance items and stocked up on shipping supplies.
Hit up $Tree next to get a few odds and ends. I always find the best stuff there.
Coffee at the glorious house of SHEETZ!!!!
Good sales at all 3 thrift stores in Lock Haven. I found a vintage Redskins sweatshirt that may just cover my whole trip. Plus I got a bunch of Christmas decorations 75% off!
Got pretty much everything I needed for NYE at SaveAlot. May have gone a little overboard but that's nothing new.
Quick stop to say hello to all my friends at the State store 😂
Got chicken feed at the feed mill. Good news, seed catalogs are coming in!!! Any sighs of spring are doubly welcome after Christmas.
Now it's back to hibernation. Can't say when I may pop my head out again lol.
Did a little something tonight I haven't done in over a year. Filmed a entire show. I'm back baby!!!!!

Overall great day. Spent the morning doing housework and working online. Hit the Post Office and thrift store with my dude Tyler. Wait till you see the camera we found! Then got a small nap in and woke up just in time for pizza at Mom & Dad's. Took the boy to his Mom's and then grabbed Today's second workout. Drinking my shake now and then headed to the shower. Got a sale tomorrow morning bright and early. Keep hustling kids!
Please follow my business Twitter page. Mist of my income right now is from reselling online and your support would mean so very much!

Another year is almost behind us. Hard to believe I have been on this journey for two years. Lots of ups & downs, money in and out, this surgery and my recovery, hard work and good times. I'm proud of what I've accomplished and ready to keep up the grind. I have lots of goals for 2020 and one of them is to do better when it comes to this blog. So here's to you my followers!

Spent the evening organizing this mess. The bus is full and I still have all this to take to Historical Days. Maybe I have just a little too much inventory?
9/6/2019 9AM Friday
Another week ends. It seems like no sooner does it begin then it's over. So much to do and time flies by so fast. I still catch myself wondering where the summer went.
Tonight we begin the big push on promoting our show in October. heading down to Williamsport tonight to hit first Friday passing out flyers. I have a chat group of about 25 people and when I ask for help two responded. Looks like this is on me more than I thought it was.
I've been spending some time trying to find a part-time job but boy is it tough. It's either you have to be able to work weekends which is a big No-No for me or it's too far away to make worthwhile the drive. I thought I had a really good one that wanted to talk to me but now he's ghosting me on messenger. This would have been in a resale establishment so it would have been right up my alley. That's the breaks I guess..... all I know is I could really use a little bit of extra income to help make ends meet.
As far as life here on the old farm it's been status quo. I've been slowly starting to make last harvest in the garden, this always makes me sad. I tore all the beans and peas and pretty much all of the cantaloupe out this week. Cherry tomatoes continue to provide just waiting for the last of the regular tomatoes to ripen up. Even with the wet spring I think I had a bigger overall crop this year then anytime in the last 10. It's nice to see that my hard work is starting to pay off!
Well I think that's all I got for you this time. life just keeps trucking along and that's boring and hard to write about lol.

Half way through the week already. The way time is moving is absolutely ridiculous!
So far this week has been a mix of failure and more failure. I've not been able to accomplish anything at all truly. It's just been one obstacle after another. Seems like fall may be rough.
The biggest blow easily has been the fact that after surviving the wind storm of the other day my corn was decimated by dear. I'm heartbroken in a weird way, it's almost like losing a pet. Hard to explain how it makes me feel. The garden is a mess after being away for 2 weeks and this is hurting my mood badly. I did manage to get enough green peppers that we had filled peppers for supper yesterday and probably two dozen cherry tomatoes that were absolutely delicious.
The rest of my time has been spent trying to catch up on household chores and cutting weeds. The trimming of the weeds just never ends here and being away for 2 weeks allowed me to get behind. I lost the battle long ago this summer but I still have to try to make it look like I'm putting in some kind of effort lol.
The chickens are going well at least. The two pullets are nearly fully grown and I hope that they will begin to lay soon.
Well that pretty much catches up with what my Monday and Tuesday was. see you next time around hopefully with some better news.

Home from the Great Grange Fair. What a long two weeks it has been. Don't get me wrong I loved it and look forward to next year but I'm tired! Lots of work to catch up on here too. Matter of fact I'm going to go do something now. Later.....

Continuing to pluck away at the jobs that need to be done by summers end. Yesterday the boy and I painted my Grandmother's trailer roof ( my uncle lives there but it will always be Grams) then we had round 4028 with the lawn mower. I'm swear it's about to go for scrap! So today my reward is a mini trip to Knobels. I've not much money but I don't care I'm going to make the most of it!
Even after being gone for 4 days I have caught up in the family garden just in time to once again leave on Monday.
Since I took the afternoon/Evening off I spent a about 2 hours in the garage processing a few small appliances for scrap. Got a little pile of bare brite copper, half a bucket of copper shred, a handful of clean brass, and a pile of neat steel & aluminum stuff. I enjoy doing this even with the heat and bugs plus it's free money!

Having one of my sleepless nights. Figured I may as well drop in and show you all a few recent pictures.
Today (yesterday?) I built a few small trellises for my sugar peas. This is the first time I've attempted this and I'm very happy with the results.
My potatoes have begun arising from the Earth. I was glad I marked where I planted them do well as I nearly got into them with the how. 😖
My small kitchen garden gave me a handful of very early beans. These are going to be dried and stored for next year. I'm curious if they will produce early too. I accidentally knocked off a couple green cherry tomatoes. Hopefully they will ripen in the window.
I'm proud of the effort I'm putting into the gardens this year. It truly looks like it may pay off too. Hard to believe with how wet it has been.
Ok kids I'm going to try the sleep thing again. Goodnight!

Half an hour left in June. I'm amazed at how fast it went by. Seems like last week we was sitting at camp during Memorial Day Weekend.
This year we are doing something different here on the homestead. It's our first ever KochLand Christmas In July celebration. Mostly it's just a excuse for me to put up lights lol. Actually it serves a purpose as our storage shed needs organization in the worst way and it will be much easier to do with the holiday decorations out of the way. It should be fun too!
I still haven't found the front end problem in the Olds. I took it to Walmart Thursday and on a short drive yesterday, it pulls slightly to the right now. I'd really like to be able to get this fixed by Saturday.
I cheated Thursday night and had a small piece of stromboli then ate McyDs Friday. Yesterday the guts wanted Arby's on our way home so I ate a order of loaded fries and I've been paying for it since. I've not had a bite all day and my belly is so sore. Back on #Keto!
Big week upcoming, let's kill it!
