Since I took the afternoon/Evening off I spent a about 2 hours in the garage processing a few small appliances for scrap. Got a little pile of bare brite copper, half a bucket of copper shred, a handful of clean brass, and a pile of neat steel & aluminum stuff. I enjoy doing this even with the heat and bugs plus it's free money!
It's been a crazy couple of days!
First of all we left we could go tomorrow night for Kentucky. Drove all night getting there in the early afternoon. We loaded up the rig turned around and headed home. had to make a few more stops and we had planned but we still made it home by early Saturday afternoon.
I got to spend exactly 11 minutes at my house and I had to turn around and leave again. This time it was too Tamaqua PA for a show. The show went well and I actually made more money than I ever have at the merch table. another long drive home and I was exhausted when I got here.
Sleep found me shortly after I got home and I never actually woke up until the next afternoon. This happened to be my 42nd birthday but I didn't really get to enjoy it at all. Tyler did come up for a little bit and I got to enjoy a few minutes with him but I was in such a daze that it really wasn't worth anything. this is unfortunate because I haven't really even gotten to talk to him in the last couple weeks except for when we went bowling a couple Sundays ago. I soon fell back to sleep after he left and never woke up until 3:30 Monday morning. So you can tell exactly how my sleep schedule has been.
I was up pretty late Monday night and then had to get up early Tuesday morning to head off to Philadelphia. We had a meeting with one of the executives of Impact Wrestling. So we now find ourselves as the promotion team for their two upcoming TV tapings in May. This is great and an excellent opportunity for me and my crew.
You're at home not much has been going on. My cousin Has returned to taking care of the chickens and ask become a thorn in my side. I miss the days when they were just mine. she caught an attitude over the way I had been taken care of them even though I believe it was far superior to anything she did and never mind the fact that she basically abandoned them for 3 months. It's okay though I still get out and get an egg every now and then and that's all I really need until I can get my own set up going this summer hopefully.
The brakes on the cavalier are acting up. It's leaking fluid from somewhere and I'm not sure where. I can still manage to get around for now but this is another stress that I just can't deal with. I would have worked on them today but it was cold and windy here and my body said take a day off KJ.
Not sure what's coming up for the rest of this week except for the wrestlemania festivities. I really expected last year at this time that I would be there and I honestly had the chance to go, a free ticket to me and I had to turn it down because of my finances. such as life I guess when you're trying to do such an unconventional thing as I am.
We ended up getting around 4" of snow with a good half of a inch of ice on top of it this morning. It's going to be rough going early on. Luckily enough we will find nearly 50° by this afternoon with sunshine so it's sure to melt away.
I mostly hid in here under this blanket. I took care of the chickens before it started. Besides a few little in house projects this was a very lazy day.
I slept from around 4 to a little past 8pm. 4 hours sleep in over two days......
Things with Stephen are about the same. He is trying to communicate with me but I'm not ready.
Well time to think about a small nap before it begins to warm up outside. Hopefully it doesn't become a all day sleep!
Another wet night here in PA. It's rained every day of this new year so far. I guess that's going to end after tonight as we are expecting a cool blast. I'm so tired of the rain that I don't think I'm even going to mind it that much.
Im back on keto now after taking 2 weeks off for the holidays. just in time to as my stomach started to act up yesterday and this continued into today. This is basically put me down for the last 2 days. I did manage to walk down and see Mom and Dad at supper tonight and eat a small bowl of salad. Hopefully tomorrow I will be adjusted and ready to move on.
Today is Tyler's birthday on unfortunately I didn't even hear from him. I posted the picture of the two of us with a happy birthday message to Facebook to which he did give a heart reaction but that's all. mom said that he told her he was coming tomorrow she's making a cake and a small ice cream so maybe that's why you didn't reach out today. It sucks, he's my best friend and I want to see him everyday.
Really hoping some sort of paying job comes along soon as the bank account and starting to shrivel away. Did make a little bit of money this weekend at the show but it's not enough. Just got a hold on a little bit longer till the weather turns...
Yesterday was fantastic. I ended up getting home with more money than I left with. That hardly ever happens. Made some connections, solidified a few others and had a good time.
I never got home till almost 4am. Did s quick unpack in the pouring rain, got something to eat and then a few drinks. Finally laid down at 8am. Slept in till 7. I needed that rest.
The rain has stopped at last but now the temps are dropping. My bones are aching from a combination of ring crew, dampness, and now a chill. I hate this weather worse then any other. Summer, I miss you!
I did pretty good today. Got out and got some trash burnt. That's one new thing we have started this year, no more garbage service. It was nice out there and I thawed out my grill lid too lol
Then I took down 90% of our Christmas display. I was hobbled by my foot but I managed. All that's left is a few things that were still froze in the ground. Stopped at Mom & Dad's for a minute. They didn't even bring up my day off. Kinda expected the 20 questions game. Supper was warmed up Veggie soup. Watching Impact now and having my last cup of coffee. Scamp just joined me 😀 Let's see how tomorrow goes. I'm sure she will make me pay for calling off but it was worth it. Afterwards big trip to the mall and more!
So I played my Trump card and called off work today...... Last night turned into a semi productive night. I made wings for Joe and I, they came out really good. We watched NEXT and then did a pretty good audio recap of it. I didn't sleep well and had a headache this morning. When I went to get up my heel said NO! And my thumb was very stiff. So I laid back down. Just got up at 1:15 and I feel better. Still sore but I'm moving. Coffee and a shower coming then I think I will try to get the outside Christmas decorations taken down. That will at least help make Momma happy. I booked our first sales event for the year. It's not till May but there's something to build on. I really should have gotten up and went to check out the salebarn in Antes Fort this morning. Check another one in the loss collum. Well I guess it's time to see how this goes!
