Adam took his hand and held it, warm and complacent; his thumb brushing gently over the knuckle of Kurt’s thumb.
The heart-wrenching sob held in threatened to break free from his throat almost made Kurt finally let everything show, but he swallowed it. He also swallowed the unease in his gut; the discomfort associated with wrongness.
This was wrong. It felt wrong. Everything was wrong. Adam was so sweet, so genuine. He really meant well, and all Kurt wanted to do was try.
Even if every movie they saw together was nothing short of wrong.
‘Good luck’ Kurt wanted to say. Because there hadn’t been a love story in the world that he and Blaine didn’t indulge themselves in. They watched movie after movie and always found a way to relate it back to themselves and their epic love.
It was an impossible task, but Kurt had to try.
