Pfff anon, I just snickered like a fool.

The rest of the story’s actually on the tags over here because that was a tag I reused to link the two posts, but I can tell it again. I eat ¾ cup of oatmeal - measured when dry - with a dash of cinnamon every day when I’m working. (Unless someone brought in cupcakes, in which case I eat the oatmeal at lunch and definitely have a cupcake for breakfast. The best part of waking up is a Safeway cupcake in my gullet.) I bring this oatmeal to work in a tupperware with a spoon.

I do not wash this tupperware or this spoon at work, which, I don’t know why, I just don’t okay. I take the tupperware and spoon home in my backpack.

Sometimes - at least five (5) times recentlyish - I forget to take the spoon out to wash it. And so they collect, like unpaired socks.

That’s it.

YOU CHOSE THIS

I had to clean my bag out for my trip and it now no longer has five (5) dirty spoons inside it. Also, I thought I just had the one ice cream place stamp card floating around in there, but once I starting taking crap out I found out I also had enough stamps for a free small gelato spread across five (5) gelato place stamp cards.

I can’t say I’m surprised.

  1. A can of coconut milk
  2. A sprawling pile of plastic bags and maps and posters and receipts and crap from the last big trip I took that I have yet to clean away.
  3. A mug with Makkachin on it, because Makka merch is the best merch
  4. Multiple partially-filled stamp cards for that ice cream place
  5. An xl men’s camo puffy jacket that was sent to me by mistake that they said I could keep but idk I don't want it and I should sell it or donate it but instead it's been sitting on the floor of my bedroom in a box for a year.

5 things that make me feel happy:

  1. I don't have to work tomorrow.
  2. The haze has cleared! I can see geographic features again!!
  3. I have pistachio gelato in my freezer.
  4. I think I will visit some good museums next week and I am excited for that. I love museums.
  5. @cutthroatpixie and @katsukiyuuristrophyhusband have both been sending me choice pictures of dogs/cats recently and those really lift my spirits. Feel free always to point me in the direction of animal pictures : )

  1. Yuri!!! On Ice, obvs.
  2. I almost wrote a Wonder Woman fic?
  3. Once I finally play botw I feel like I will be crying about zelda again
  4. Been watching weightlifting fairy kim bok joo with @fireblazie
  5. I want to re-read the Imperial Radch trilogy again before Provenance comes out. Not sure if I’ll have the time.

5 things on my to do list:

  1. Pack for a conference I'm going to next week.
  2. Plan some logistics around going to that conference and what I'll do with my down time.
  3. Consume too many vegetables and fruits from this week’s farmshare delivery before they go bad while I'm gone.
  4. Finish the garbage fic so I can post it and hopefully talk about it with some of you I REALLY HOPE PEOPLE WILL WANT TO READ THIS THING.
  5. Call Alaska about some missing miles on my account.
