Do people realize that Israel is so unrestrained that it’s now launching attacks in Lebanon and Syria as well. Do people realize how little Arab people mean to these genocidal maniacs that they are now killing people in three Arab countries. Can genocide apologists pause their pure hatred for Arabs to at the very least admit this. Or are we going to pretend that Israel has a reason to be intensifying attacks in Damascus right now
children’s dreams / al-yarmouk, palestinian refugee camp in damascus, syria
little palestine; diary of a siege (2021) dir. abdallah al khatib
The district of Yarmouk (Damascus, Syria) sheltered the biggest Palestinian refugee camp in the world from 1957 to 2018.
When the Syrian revolution broke out, the regime of Bashar Al-Assad saw Yarmouk as a refuge of rebels and resistance and set up a siege from 2013 on. Gradually deprived of food, medicine and electricity, Yarmouk was cut off from the rest of the world. (x)
it was the syrian regime that besieged and subsequently destroyed yarmouk, with the help of its biggest ally russia. what happened to palestinians in this camp is inseparable from the context of the syrian revolution.
When another reporter asked him to clarify the comment, Spicer fumbled through an explanation and defense.
“I think when you come to sarin gas, he was not using the gas on his own people the same way that Assad is doing,” Spicer said.
“But in the way that Assad used them, where he went into towns and dropped them down to innocent into the middle of towns…I appreciate the clarification, that was not the intent,” he said.
Then, after the briefing, he released a statement saying he was not “trying to lessen the horrendous nature of the Holocaust.”
Then he sent out a clarification to that clarification, changing “innocent people” to “population centers.:
He then clarified the clarification to the clarification, saying "any attack on innocent people is reprehensible and inexcusable.”

executive order suspends the entry of Syrian refugees into U.S.

This is so scary to look at
Anyone who asks why refugees don’t “just go back home” clearly does not understand what “refugee” means.
THIS IS IMPORTANT
Tonight please pray for all the innocent lives that will be lost in Syria due to the airstrike decision which has been agreed upon.
So everyone is clear: The civilians have no escape. The innocent people cannot get out. Governments told them to evacuate or they will die. The ISIL militants have said they will kill every person who leaves their house.
There IS no escape for these people, and the government will try to claim they gave ‘fair warning’ to the civilians and will try to claim all casualties must therefore be ISIL members or too stubborn. This is a war crime, this is murder, and there is no chance for these innocent people who want no part in this to escape.
Please, please pray for them tonight or send positive vibes or whatever you do, please do not forget these are innocent people who have done nothing wrong and just wanted to live their lives.
This is a real thing that is happening. There’s an entire coalition of nations participating. World leaders really said yes to bombing a country because a group of people responsible for some of the worst terrorist actions in recent history are in that country. Are you aware of the fact that there are innocent civilians, innocent families, in that country who are being forced to stay and to obey the directives of this terrorist organization? There’s a grandmother comforting her grandson while the ground rocks and the electricity goes out, who can’t tell him that the reason they haven’t run away is that they at least have a chance of surviving randomly-distributed bombs while they don’t stand a chance against the guns those terrible people carry. “Innocent civilians” is more than just words. Those are real people who have no way out and who have been turned away when they sought one. There’s someone just like you; oldest or youngest sibling, a parent, monetary trouble, living a comfortable life working and pursuing their future, etc. There’s someone who is basically living your life, and who is terrified for themselves, their friends, their family. Think about THAT before you dismiss this, because this is horrific. And it should scare and sicken you.
This is heartbreaking
What would it be like if the U.S. was war torn like Syria? A new video by international NGO Save the Children imagines just that, through the eyes of a young girl:
The disturbing video features shots of the girl as she goes about her normal life over the course of a year. The video begins and ends with the child celebrating her birthday. Between shots, we see how her life changes dramatically as war ravages her country.
