You know what? I’m in favor of disabled immigrants who can’t work, too, and I think they should be taken care of. They’re people, and everyone should have their needs met, and if someone is willing to uproot their whole life to move to another country, I assume they have a compelling reason for it.

Trump’s Muslim Ban Realized
Today on 1/27/17 Trump closed America’s doors to refugees, indefinitely, banned immigrants from several countries, suspended the Visa program, and effectively left untold numbers of people stranded–including those with Green Cards and especially those with no where else to turn who had already been approved to come here.
It is not a ban purely on Muslims, just on specific (majority Muslim) countries, so there’s a chance it could hold up in court.
He signed this executive order on Holocaust Remembrance Day. Even if he didn’t understand the significance of that, I have no doubt Bannon and the other nazis on his staff did.
This is monstrous.

The founder of Chobani yogurt has helped employ more than 300 resettled refugees. Now racists are calling to boycott the company.
Racism and xenophobia is on the rise and people like Mr. Ulukaya are unfairly being demonized. This man made his own fortune and employs thousands of Americans. He also gave many of his employees shares in the company making them instant millionaires.
“The minute a refugee has a job, that’s the minute they stop being a refugee” Mr. Ulukaya said in a talk he gave this year.
This is exactly the kind of migrant anyone’s country would want.

There’s nothing quite like putting one’s unique stamp on a graduation ceremony — and Latinx grads nationwide are making it happen in 2016. This one is stunning: “They tried to bury us. They didn’t know we were seeds.”
