Forest Park is still one of my favorite places. Wanna join that duck gang.
And that’s it from that day! I seriously have hundreds more of these, but I think trying to post them all would break Tumblr and make everyone rightfully stop following me, haha.
More from Wildwood trail! The rainbow moss wall was pretty great, and I feel like I got some good practice trying to get interesting compositions with my photos here (though I think the last set was a little better than these overall).
Pretty much all of these are from the Wildwood trail in Forest Park.
And now, a ton of photos from Forest Park in Portland featuring the Pittock Mansion. I get really excited about actual forests, ok. Especially since St. Louis’s Forest Park is way more park than forest.
Twede's Cafe, Snoqualmie Falls and a map from our Twin Peaks excursion, and then some stuff from Forest Park.
Some pictures from Forest Park yesterday.
While I was taking photos of the other stuff, I figured I'd get some pictures of this St. Louis-themed box I found a couple years ago at an antique store near me. It has sketches from some stuff downtown and then some from Forest Park/the surrounding area. I wish I knew who made it or who did the art printed on it, but all of my ink bottles fit in it perfectly. They've been sitting in there waiting for me to finish all this freelance work so I can get back to doing real media stuff again.
Living right next to the biggest park in St. Louis is awesome, except for the part where my boyfriend somehow gets poison ivy without touching it and I get covered in spider bites. Still pretty great, though.
Took me awhile to get through these because my lens got super dirty somehow, so I had to clean up all the weird spots in Photoshop. Hard to believe this happened not too long ago! And it's going to be 70 out today. Midwestern weather is weird.
