right??? like it definitely takes dedication to do it Seriously even though it seems like there’s a lot of variation there, but even just finding a dress you love and then getting it can take a lot of work lol. and it’s very much a “this is for ME and MY happiness” style, which is fantastic! (granted, any style can be about the wearer and what makes them happy rather than what makes someone looking at them happy! but lolita is kind of structured around that as a starting point.)
