would you believe I was actually planning to do this the very morning the [licorice gorb] got blazed (obviously it was a better idea to put it off until after it was over)

also someone reblogged it with a screencap where it says "blazed by notpikaman" under my username and tbh I am so glad I'm not the only one burdened by that information XD and thank you to everyone who said "good blaze op" or some variant thereof, a high compliment

anyway welcome all you new followers and also folks who just wanted to reblog the one thing and be on your merry way, I do this occasionally so that I actually get to reply to y'all's tags n such <3 (without making a lot of blog clutter)

things will be restructuring soon:

  • I may do one more normal reply roundup after this, but then they will become shorter, more sporadic, and less thorough - just whatever catches my eye that I have something to say about, rather than systemically trawling the notes of every post since the last one
  • the reblob queue is still full up until mid-november, but when that runs out I will also be changing how that gets filled - organizational tags will stay but commentary will be less frequent, and I’ll just refill as I go instead of big days of concentrated effort which means you may get the same artist multiple days and it may just run out sometimes if no one’s posted in a while
  • I will be stopping the patreon requests and wallpapers after fulfillment for november signups - that means there will be patreon requests and a wallpaper that go up in december, but none after that. I may or may not sub in a $5 postcard tier at that time, for a little print in the mail of whichever drawing was my favorite that month, but that’s still a maybe. other than that the patreon will become more of a tip jar, if you just like tucking a little extra spending money in my pocket so I can order better food sometimes :v I’m pretty sure the favorites posts every couple months should continue though.
  • daily drawings will definitely continue.

this is unfortunately necessary due to my health.

life updates:

  • my wife and I got covid! >:( she has fully recovered, but my underlying chronic illness has gotten much worse in response (exactly like it did from the vaccine actually)
  • thank you to everyone who left us well wishes and other sympathetic words, I haven’t collected them all in this roundup but I absolutely did see them all <3
  • speaking of covid my dad and his wife have recovered, although just like I suspected his fatigue has persisted even though it’s been 3 weeks.
  • my wife should finally be getting paid in a couple days and then we’ll be okay money-wise.
