Kinktober 2018 Begins

Posting this a little late, sorry about that! But, since it is officially October, the official AO3 collection is now open! It can be found here

For anyone who missed it, the prompt list was posted several months ago and can be found here

And, though a proper FAQ would be much better, I would like to say that this is very much an unmoderated event. With so many participants spanning so many fandoms, it would be impossible to effectively moderate the event. As such, it’s more or less a free for all with some light guidance in the form of prompts, though you can of course substitute your own prompts in for any you don’t fancy, on top of having 4 to choose from. That being said, all you really need to do is post your work, whether is be writing or fanart, etc, and tag it. If it is on AO3, feel free to add it to the official collection.

Also, though it is Kinktober, you can use the prompts and complete the works any time you like, even outside of October. There really are no rules, I was simply a big fan of the original Kinktober list from years back, and wanted a place to post the prompt list for 2017, 2018 and future years. That being said, I’m amazed at how much this has blown up, and hope everyone will have fun creating kinky content this month, and any time the mood strikes them!

The prompt list for 2018 is complete! Most of what’s on here is the same as last year, but with some new additions and being a bit more specific on some prompts, there’s a total of 120 potential prompts to choose from. The list has also been randomized, so that they fall on different days. So, without further ado, the list!

Again, this isn’t really a formal challenge or anything. More of just a general attempt to produce some filthy, filthy things in October of 2018. Sure, it may be early, but some people (myself included) like having plenty of time to plan things out. Feel free to drop an ask in the inbox with any questions!

It'll be a choice between the three! Though of course if anyone wants to go for 3 per day that'd be fine. We're playing this fast and loose.And keep in mind, if none of the prompts for a day speak to you, or two you want to do fall on the same day, there's no problem with switching things around a bit. You can even sub in your own kink if one's not listed at all!

It’s almost that time of year, so following in the footsteps of last year, we would like to present Kinktober 2017! For the prompts, we’ve used the original 30 prompts from @sparksreactor (hope that’s okay!) and added another 60, for a total of 3 prompts per day. For the 31st, we went with a free-for all of any of the prompts combined.

Keep in mind, the days are more of a loose suggestion! Any of the prompts can be subbed in for any day, and if there’s a kink you’d like to use that isn’t listed, go on ahead! And for actual content, digital, traditional, and writing are all welcome and encouraged!
