ハイキュー!! 及川徹 誕生日おめでとうでした〜
“You sure as hell talk big for someone who doesn’t even dare hold my hand in public.”
Taiga didn’t mean to say it in such a blunt, aggravated way. But Daiki and him have been dating for a while (if you can call playing one-on-ones and making out to the sound of buzzer beaters dating) and Daiki still seems to only acknowledge the existence of their relationship when they’re alone, more specifically, when he’s the one who’s in the right mood.
“What did you say?” Daiki raises his voice and his brow, immediately feeling like he’s been called out for a challenge.
Taiga is glad nobody is around them because this might grow into a full-blown argument. They were on their way home after picking up ice-cream from the local supermarket and he was hoping for a nice, bonding walk with Daiki when he started poking at Taiga’s patience with his grandiose attitude towards his own skills when compared to Taiga’s. Needless to say, this drove him to the edge.
Taiga shrugs lazily and pops a candy in his mouth. It is cherry-flavored and a bit too sweet for his tastes but he needs something to keep his mouth occupied or else he might not be able to hold back at all. “I’m just sayin’.”
Daiki scoffs. “So you want me to hold your hand in public?”
Taiga shrugs again and swallows the half-chewed candy. “I know it’s too much for a brute like you, no need to push yourself.”
“Give me your hand. I’m gonna show you the best hand-holding you’ve ever had a chance to experience. My hand-holding skills will blow your mind.”
Taiga stops and looks at Daiki’s extended hand, almost as if he can’t tell if Daiki is this easy to manipulate when his integrity is threatened or if he’s just dreaming. He smirks and gently smacks Daiki’s hand away.
“I don’t want it. You use that hand to pick your nose.”
Daiki frowns and walks around Taiga to stand on his other side. “How about this one…” He says and for once, Taiga can’t read his facial expression at all. His eyebrows are relaxed, his forehead not showing a hint of tension and he’s standing in a straight posture unlike his usual slouch. And he’s looking straight at Taiga.
Wordlessly, and slightly abashed, Taiga puts his hand in Daiki’s and they walk the rest of the distance in silence. Daiki’s hand is warm over his own and his fingers tighten and then relax its grip on the back of Taiga’s hand, and Taiga feels reassured, safe holding Daiki like this—
“Shit, I feel like a smitten school girl…” He realizes and puts his hand over his face in embarrassment.
Daiki laughs shortly and then his expression hardens to that of earnestness. “If you want to do these things, just say so. Or do them yourself. I am not ashamed of you in the slightest. Hell, you’re the best, most annoying thing that has happened to me.”
“This is not how you proclaim your undying love for me.” Taiga comments and punches him lightly on the shoulder.
They fail to notice how slow they’ve been walking, more so, that their ice cream has almost melted.

Here it is, the story of Tomoe, a young boy from a paranormal family that grew up interacting with things like ghosts, demons, angels, and actually got quite fond of them. He lives in a really big house in hawaii and he takes over the family business: aiding the creatures from the other side, so all those spirits and entities end up visiting him occasionally to rest, eat, or just hang out with other beings (and Tomoe as well, he’s a very kind boy). But since Tomoe’s paranormal senses are too high, he’s like a flashlight in a dark room to the eyes of mystical creatures; they can spot him easily, so he ends up attracting all kinds of spirits, including plenty of succubi and incubi. Usually they just leave, since Tomoe is definitely not up for some late nights adventures with a random demon, but things get a little bit more complicated when Darren, the incubus, falls in love gets intrigued on why his powers aren’t affecting this particular boy and decides that he’s not leaving until he gets what he wants truth be told he’s madly in love with Tomoe okay he doesn’t even want to do the do with him anymore (I mean he does but thats not the only thing) he just enjoys being there alright he’s not fooling anyone.
I might draw some more stuff in the future, maybe introduce some other characters, such as the lovely shy ghoul that sleeps on the couch, or the ghost twins that are afraid of the neighbor’s cat… we’ll see!
