Because YES. Legit. Cas's whole rebellion against a hegemonic, systematised, obey-and-ask-no-questions heaven, which he does FOR LOVE (even if he doesn't know its true character until so much later), as well as for the first authentic selfhood, is the primary way his character is queered.
