this morning I got the okay from the higher ups to post fan art so yall are in for a Ride
So my favorite pats of the Carmen Sandiego cartoon:
1: Julia is the only competent legal force, apparently. I super hope she and Carmen formally team up that would be so cool.
2: Did NOT AT ALL see the plot twist with Shadow coming and I loved it
3. also the show never needs to draw attention to when women are accomplishing things or when an action scene is entirely cast by women. The skill and capability of women is never questioned. It’s treated as a completely natural thing and it wasn’t till way late in the show that I had the thought “these are two women going ham on top of a train and I haven’t heard a single “hashtag feminism” line this whole show. She-ra was the same way, and if this is the direction Netflix’s animation studio is going to stay on I’m behind it 100%
