Did the twins time travel? Did Beary de-age Henry and trap him as a kid in a pocket dimension? I don't hecking know man, but it turned out rad. I've never done something like this before, and it was a huge learning experience. I'm excited to do more like it in the future!

One of the best twist moments in Avatar is when Ty Lee suddenly and dramatically turns against Azula at the Boiling Rock. Azula was completely convinced that Ty Lee would obey her without question forever, but Azula wasn't the only one fooled. Mai is just as shocked when Ty Lee rebels as Azula is. Ty Lee's survival instincts were so sharp that she never let anyone know what she was thinking, not Azula, not Mai, and certainly not Zuko.
Zuko really believed that Ty Lee didn't understand who he was at all. He completely bought into the act that she's just a puppet for Azula, who lives in her "little Ty Lee world where everything's great all the time". But the thing is, Ty Lee is one of the most perceptive characters in the show, and she's excellent at keeping that on the down low, but she sees a lot more of Zuko than he thinks, and a lot of what she sees is very familiar to her.
Overshadowed by prodigious siblings?
Wanting to be acknowledged for the talents you have rather than the talents you don't?
Kept in line by fear?
Spending your whole life bending over backwards to fit the persona the royal family has set for you?
So yeah Zuko. She knows you.
This characterization is definitely emphasized with Ty Lee's acrobatics, flexibility, and ability to hit pressure points. There's a level of subtlety and precision that is required for such skills. She had to know her own body to be able to bend it in such ways, and she has to know other people's bodies to be able to disable them.
Please. Don’t. Just don’t.

i think one of my favorite tropes now is subversion of genre expectation. not changing the genre, but rather plot twisting of “it was actually this other genre the whole time!”

On Earth 2, Reverb threatens Deathstorm and Killer Frost by saying he’ll “fry their nervous system”. Does that mean that, if Cisco gains the same amount of control over his power that his doppelganger had, he’ll be powerful enough to kill Supergirl? (Not that he would or would want to)
Because it seems to me that Cisco has the potential to be the most powerful person in the Arrowverse with his power set. Which is why his powers are so hard to master. Everyone else learns at least the basics of their power pretty quickly. Cisco’s power took a long time to manifest, and then for a long time he couldn’t control it at all, and then it took special tools/technology to use it at its most basic level, and he’s now gained a lot more control but he’s still not at the level we know he’s capable of. It’s the same principle applied to Hiro and Peter on Heroes- their full power would make them too powerful so their power has to be one that’s more difficult to learn how to use, to balance things out.

I’ve never watched the A-team so I’d never really heard this song before but HECK YEAH I COULD FIGHT SOME MONSTERS AND SMILE FOR THE CAMERA TO THIS TUNE
so this felt like it had to be a group shot, and it actually took my second listen of the song to get a decent sketch out
so, I’m doing these as a learning experience and bOI am I learning that it’s totally worth putting more effort into the sketch before doing the lineart. I mean, I can own it:
freaking somehow. but it would probably be better with a more detailed sketch. or like, just allowing myself to edit the sketch at all, which i did not. I feel like I’m growing as an artist though, so thank you for this song suggestion! (im listening to it right now, this is a Tune man this is great)
