You don't have to save everything for a special occasion. Use that fancy lotion and that expensive makeup product. Place those cute stickers on something and use those fancy pens. Eat the delicious ice cream, drink the fancy bottle of wine and use that bath bomb. Instead of waiting forever for the perfect moment, choose to make an everyday moment special. Let yourself have a treat just because.

I'm gonna be 100% brutally honest with you.
It's OK if you've done absolutely nothing; contributed nothing to anything, talked to no one, ect. Yes, even if you didn't get out of bed.
I see countless people tag or add onto posts things like "am I still worthy if __" "is it still ok to rest if __" and yes! It is OK to to the bare minimum or no minimum at all. 💛 You are still a living, breathing, thinking being and thinking alone takes energy.
Be gentle with yourself. 💚
Just a reminder to check in with yourself. How is your body feeling? Do your muscles feel tense? Do you need to go to the bathroom? Are you hungry? When we get busy it’s easy to neglect our needs, so take a little time and give yourself what you need to make your day brighter.
You are not a bother. You are not a burden. You are not a waste of space. You are not annoying every person you talk to. Your existence matters. Your presence makes a good difference.

- join or build a mutual aid group and/or network
- find time for small joys (the arts, cooking a meal you love, spending time with loved ones, etc.)
controversial opinion but unfortunately you are your actions and what you say. if you are mean to people, it doesn’t matter if you sometimes have secret kind thoughts. fortunately you are your actions and what you say. if you are kind in your actions and your words, it doesn’t matter if you sometimes have mean thoughts. the power is in working against inner negative thoughts and being a better person despite it. you have the ability to cultivate the person you want to be.
This a a reminder to not fall victim to the sunk-cost fallacy. Just because you invested time and energy into something, does not mean you should indefinitely waste more time and energy on it, if you decide it’s not what you want anymore. This goes for anything, from books, to relationships, to jobs, to hobbies, etc.
If it’s not serving you anymore, move on.
This is the season to leave whatever does not serve you.
