Whose to say the ninja would actually recognise a living, breathing Morro when they only knew him green, see through, and dead.

I highly doubt the whole green and see through thing made it easy to see all his facial features when you can also see a chair through him.

So i personally find it likely that Morro could just wear a baseball cap to hide the green streak, maybe some makeup if he still has his under eye markings or a green glowing scar like Cole’s, and just walk freely around Ninjago.

Like maybe Wu might recognise him, that was his first student after all and technically his kid, but the last time he saw a living Morro was decades ago and when he was ten, so.

But Morro might still get away with it seeing as Wu doesn’t seem like the type to be around Ninjago city often, so all he really has to deal with is the ninja and their friends.

He actively avoids Chen’s noodle house unless he’s feeling self destructive enough, he has to hide from Jay and Lloyd at the comic book store in the isle right next to theirs, he actually does frequent Dareth’s restaurant until he almost bumps straight into Nya, he goes no where near that large tower in the middle of the city (Borg tower) and instead frequents the library where he comes face to face with Zane, and when he runs off barely making it by he almost runs head first into Cole who just picked up some cake and was now meeting up with Zane.

If this was a fanfic, Cole and Zane would end up talking to a very reluctant Morro, somehow forcefully convince him for his number from a phone he magically got, and would be stuck with two ninja trying to interact with this guy name ‘roe’

Morro is like those eggs you try to perfectly crack open except your thumb slides in and destroys the yolk, leading you to drop everything else onto the pan messily because you might’ve made a small mistake but it made all the difference.

Lloyd is like when you find an egg so ugly looking and and dirty that you don’t want it, yet its the only egg in the batch that cracks smoothly, leaving you to eat one of the best eggs ever made.

Nya is like when you keep tapping an egg on a corner/counter yet the shell is so hard it won’t break or give you something to help you break it. You’ll never find out what’s inside.

Zane is like those eggs you crack open easily and happily, only to be disappointed when the yolk is missing. So you try to make do with what you have, when it’s the only egg you have.

Kai is the eggs that must be gently cracked open, bit by bit to reap the riches inside. Yet sometimes what lies inside isn’t enough. Its not fulfilling enough. The egg was not big or not flavourful and it left a bad taste in your mouth.

Jay’s the eggs that broke in the package, spilling across all the others and covering them with everything it is. And if you don’t like it it’s something you must accept, because it cannot go back to what it once was. It wasn’t strong enough then, and he isn’t strong enough now.

Cole is the eggs that are pure white, clean as can be. The shell is hard, yet not too much so that it’s difficult to break. The crack is perfect as he’s split open into two halves, only for half of the inside of the eggs to spill off the pan, making a mess no one wants to clean.

Pixal is the eggs that was one too many in its bunch, one too many eggs that were given, leaving it the only unwanted one everyone wants to throw away or feed to another when you don’t want nor need it.

Harumi is the egg that is barely holding itself together, almost breaking under all the tension and pressure it faced as it was jostled around recklessly as if its owner did not care, let alone know, how fragile an egg can be. The egg is covered in cracks, and its almost like its insides might spill, but it clings on desperately together to fulfil its purpose.

Skylor is an egg that gets left behind. The egg that was forgotten in its nest as the rest are shipped away, the odd one out no one needed.

Echo is that one egg left in the package, yet you buy a new one as you forget the old one waiting to be used before it rots into nothingness.

Yes, this is completely and utterly about eggs.

The ninja and co if they were fruits and vegetables, except i look too much into it, and then give no explanation:

Kai: a cherry

Cole: an orange

Zane: a banana

Nya: a pomegranate

Not coming back to posting often yet but i really wanted to post this 😞

Sooo i decided to plan out how i draw each of the ninja’s eyes and a few extras.

If you’ve noticed the question marks I drew those eyes without those characters in mind.

Yes, i do think the ninja have dressed up as their villains in the most ugliest costumes known to man.

Kai dressed up as Aspheera but he just ties a few long blue scarf around his waist and slaps on yellow eye contacts.

Jay dyes his hair white, slaps on the most nerdiest red clothes (Kai’s) and wears some red and dark blue makeup.

Nya wears three skirts with long backs that point in different directions, slaps an ugly crown Vania never liked, paints her skin purple, and calls it a day. She also buys a fake long moustache and sticks it on.

Zane wears all black and makes Pixal turn her led lights red. They look like a punk couple.

Cole tries to get Yang to turn him into a ghost again. When that didn’t work he convinced him to float headless next to him as he wear some of Wu’s old robes that he died black and got Skylor to give the broken staff that was once Chen’s.

Lloyd…just grows two arms. But then he decided hell no and wore a white wig and pink makeup. Harumi was not impressed (she reluctantly taught hum how to do the red face paint).

Wu decided to be funny and was the one who dressed up as Garmadon. Actual Garmadon was not impressed to find Wu wearing one of his old battle armours whilst wearing the same marking he has on his own face.

Jay the type to be one of those heavy breathers. Its a pain to be in a quiet room with him because my GOD you can hear his lungs take each breath in but if you tell him to stop he’ll look all embarrassed and ends up not breathing at all. Kai resorted to slowly burning the oxygen in the room so Jay won’t consume all of it. Teaching em how to breathe like a normal person.

Nya is the type to have those really quiet coughs, but also always NEEDS to cough. So sometimes she’s just constantly coughing quietly and it gets awkward so she tries to hold it in, only to burst out coughing and then starts snorting because Lloyd was staring at her the whole time she was struggling. They both were giggling and just kept going when Nya kept coughing.

Cole always sniffs. He feels the cold often and he sniffs uncontrollably. When it’s too hot he starts sniffing uncontrollably. Not a single sniff actually fulfils its purpose of existence and he refuses to awkwardly blow his nose, so he’s doing his best to quietly sniff but somehow Zane always ends up having to pass him some tissue.

Kai has those really weird and uncontrollable shivers you might have at random. Like one second he’s sitting on the sofa comfortably, the next he’s shaking as if he just got one single electric shock and then acts like nothing just happened when Nya’s side eyeing him.

Lloyd is the only one who actually went to school. He has went through every single one of these in a quiet classroom or dormitory and it’s horrible when you have people- who literally do it too- judge you over it. However, Lloyd always needs to twitch his face. Like his nose, or eyebrows, or his eyes even. He doesn’t notice he does it until Brad asked what the hell was wrong with him. And then made everyone call him bunny Lloyd for the rest of the day because he twitched his nose like one. No i could not make up a better name but these are 10yr olds leave me alone

Zane is the one always stare at them, and then place medicine or whatever right in front of them. Turns out Kai was anaemic, and Jay had asthma, and no realised until Zane’s judging eyes landed on them. He made Pixal put in a small compartment into his body that just holds medicine for these specific issues because he is SICK and TIRED of these lot.

Just thinking about Zane post-rebooted not really knowing who he is, where he is, and stuck in a dark cell underground away from others and the outside world for who knows how long, probably getting tortured and humiliated for information he doesn’t have. And all he has is the voice of a strange woman in another cell. That is the only reason he remained sane.

I like to think about how Zane was created to be human, when Pixal, Echo, Mr E, and Cryptor (and somewhat Unagami) were all created to be nindroids.

Every nindroid other than Zane was created with the intention of a mechanical being with a conscious, someone who can be compared to human, but is their own species all together. They were never expected nor created with the intention of them being human.

Zane, however, was created intentionally as a mechanical being that was more human than nindroid. He is the one and only nindroid that constantly worries about emotions, humans, being human, fitting in, and his very existence.

(Unagami does not count his whole thing was solely daddy issues cause his dad was a bit closed minded)

Maybe thats why Zane slowly becomes more robotic. As years go by, Dr Julien is no longer there and everyone including Zane and Dr Julien acknowledged his nindroid side to be who he is(that he is not human, and that is okay, because that doesn’t change a thing. But subconsciously, to Zane, it almost changes everything) but Zane never really felt like a nindroid. So as time passes and Zane is destroyed and rebuilt and has more newer pieces for beings who were created as nindroids to live as nindroids, Zane no longer feels like his soul and his body are one in the same.

It feels trapped. Like he can no longer find the distinction between Zane the human and Zane the nindroid, because whilst both were him, it now felt like one was squishing the other. He just wasn’t sure which one.

I don’t think i explained it well so I’ll stop now cause it’s late. Might explain properly later. But basically because Zane’s body is being constantly rebuilt due to situations it’s making his soul mad uncomfy.

My results day is in 24 hours 54 minutes, so heres how i think the ninja would feel in my position: (take this as movie-verse if you want)

Lloyd: he ignores his feelings. Hides in his room wondering if he’s gonna fail. Thinks he’s gonna fail and then thinks that if he thinks like that he will definitely fail. He feels like he might just throw up with the butterflies in his stomach.

Zane: like that one time, he literally has butterflies in his stomach. Cooking, baking, training. Being as active as possible so the nerves don’t take over.

Cole: stress eating. Doing what he can to distract himself from what might happen. The anticipation is killing him.

Jay: all you will see until results day is Jay sitting on the edge of a chair or smth, breathing deeply into his hands and staring deep into the abyss. Empty eyed, you will get electrocuted if you disturb him.

Nya: she’s a downright mess. Trying to act calm, getting angry for no reason, and says she’s perfectly calm and confident as she breaks the metal spoon in her hand in half with a twitching eye.

Kai: thinks he will pass, full confidence in himself…until it’s the middle of the night and in just a few hours he’ll find out what he got. He’s about to cry.

Turns out they all pass, even Kai.

(Wu has to convince them he didn’t pull any strings. Pixal and Garmadon were fully willing to let him take the blame)

Do you think Jay or Pixal or smth had to build the sense of smell into Zane.

Do you think right after he looked at Lloyd and said “Oh. Kai was right. You do stink.” And flips the switch off.

As he tells a wheezing Pixal he’s never turning such a curse back on, Lloyds showering himself in perfume.

Nya drowns him in water because of that. Cole can’t stop coughing cause he can taste the perfume at this point.

Lloyd would be a messy eater. Food on his clothes, hair, all over the table, on the floor, everywhere.

Nya is the type to choke things down her throat without swallowing. She likes eating, but it’s too time consuming, so she just takes one huge bite of the whole thing and swallows.

Jay is the type to wanna watch something whilst eating. He sets the food on his lap, turns on the TV or goes onto youtube, and just watches whatever as he munches.

Kai is a fast eater. Not on purpose or anything, he just eats unusually fast. Leaves zero mess too.

Cole hates leaving any food on his plate. Like, he’s not gonna waste it, and theres only a bit left, so he might as well painstakingly eat the last bits for the sake of satisfaction of a clean plate.

Wu doesn’t eat (he doesn’t need to as often). He drinks tea.

Zane doesn’t need to eat. But he likes to. He guilt trips Wu into eating with the “poor, lonely, slow eater” Zane.

Bonus:

Morro casually forgets to eat, so Wu always had to call him down to eat at specific times with a meal in hand. After he left, he would always feel hungry at a specific time three times a day and could not rest until he had something to eat.

Skylor likes the cooking part more than the eating part, mainly because she’s never satisfied with eating her own food, but someone needs to test them to make sure they’re good for the shop. She does like soup though.

Pixal became the chosen one for Skylor when she shared how she wished to try eating more unique foods.

Nya and Ronin the uncle and niece duo you could’ve been.

Morro and Lloyd the cousin duo you could’ve been.

Pixal and Unagami the mentor-mentee/older sister-younger brother duo you could’ve become.

CRYPTOR and Pixal the sibling duo we could’ve had.

MR E AS ECHO AND ZANE THE BROTHERS YOU COULD’VE BEEEEEEEN

Zane one day gets a concussion that resulted in damaged eyes. When finally getting back to the monastery so Jay and Pixal can fix them, he spots a wonky Nya and thinks she turned into the ocean again.

Out of pure instinct, he froze her into a statue.

Kai couldn’t stop laughing as he unfroze her.

Then Zane does it again after stepping out and seeing a puddle where Nya was.

All they could hear was a confused Zane and a hysterical Kai.

Nya got her revenge by pouring water over them both. When Kai’s gel covered hair was in peak position and Zane was holding tea for Wu.

Pixal the type of girl to make her own helicopter body.

Just, just imagine this:

The ninja are running for whatever reason and need an escape. They’re calling Pixal for a pick up but she doesn’t respond. Suddenly, a helicopter just appears in front of them and they hear Pixal telling them to get in. Once they’ve successfully escaped, they all collapse and thank Pixal.

Looking around, they couldn’t see her at all. Nya goes to the control of the helicopter and presses that walkie talkie button to talk to her, but all they get is static.

In worry, and confusion, they all look at each other. Zane was about to call Pixal’s names before the speakers in the helicopter practically screech “IS EVERYTHING OKAY??”

The ninja look just about ready to leap off the helicopter when Pixal speaks at a better volume.

“Apologies, I am not yet used to the controls of this body.”

Zane, in pure bafflement, and what’s bordering exasperated, asks the important questions, as usual.

“Pixal…please don’t tell me you created a body shaped as a helicopter for yourself?”

“You said I should do whatever it takes to achieve my dreams, Zane. Of course I made myself a helicopter body!”

Zane is now dating a helicopter. Who’s sometimes a girl. Or a giant fighting mech, it really depends.

You know i love the idea that Zane and Pixal are stuck with only each other for the rest of eternity when all their friends and family, everyone they knew, died, but like they wouldn’t.

Zane and Pixal often are shown to prioritise the ‘logical’ solution or route to situations and they both would decide that after their generation has finally died, and the next will begin, that they have no place there.

They both have souls, they can die and go to the departed realm, but despite their emotions of grief and loneliness being a driving factor they would argue that the element of ice should finally pass on to its next host. Zane may do something similar to what the previous elemental of ice did and give it to some random kid he believed would be worthy. Except, Pixal technically still has half of the element powering her constantly. She can’t use it, but it’s the whole reason shes alive in the first place. They both would essentially find a new master and choose them as the next elemental and then pretty much kill themselves.

(And even if she doesn’t have it, she’d still be one of the main people helping him choose so they can both move on together. Pixal is not leaving Zane, if he wishes to pass on then so does she.)

You guys forget that Zane has a very little self worth, and would not hesitate to do so if Pixal is willing too. And Pixal is the one who tends to choose the more ‘logical’ or ‘reasonable’ route despite it possibly harming her. After the last ninja died, they might go a bit longer, but neither of them have the willpower or mental stability to go through literal decades of protecting Ninjago and seeing new elementals. They’d wanna move on too.

They can’t handle the crushing loneliness,

The fading determination in Zane’s eyes and the loss of will in Pixal’s.

They are both willing to finally die as long as they get to see their loved ones again. Their generation is gone, so let them leave too.
