I like Lou. I loved him as Tommy and the few scenes I've seen of him as Rocker have been very endearing. He's a charming actor and he's been a very likeable guy so far. Not to mention a lot of us feel justifiably bad about the way he was treated by fans throughout all this.
I don't think there's anything inherently wrong with the "lou got me in the divorce" movement, I'm one of em myself. And I love the idea of coming together to be his fans bc he's genuinely won so many people's affection with so little screentime. But.
We should keep in mind that he's just a guy at the end of the day. He's a person who has been very kind and respectful and yes we have all the reason to like him but it'll be a disservice to yourself and to him to forget that he's just a person.
Don't put him on a pedestal. Don't set imaginary standards for him that he may not meet later on and will leave you feeling like your heroes are dead all over again.
