Of course!!! I genuinely don't see how this show ends without Jimmy and Kim reuniting. That's impossible in my mind. The writers very clearly view their relationship as the heart of the show just like all of us do, and at the risk of sounding super corny here, the heart is lost right now. Jimmy is a shell of his former self after the loss of Kim, and the man we saw in Breaking Bad was always a performance of sorts. It's Jimmy's way of coping with his grief and his loss in the only way he knows how. But like Kim said, they have had the time of their lives together. They love each other deeply. The way their relationship ended was like a gut punch, but there's no way this is the last time they see each other. Do I think they're going to get to live happily ever after and run away together and go buy a house somewhere and settle down for good? After everything, I'm not so sure. But they are going to reunite and if I were a betting woman I would put money on that for sure lol.
Once Kim left, the color was drained from Jimmy's life. He tried to move on, tried to get over losing her and replace her presence in his life with all of the excess and the gaudiness - but it's all so hollow. They made that clear with the jarring cut right to the time jump. He's in his fabulous, nauseatingly extravagant mansion, and it's a nightmare. All of the shit he's doing, it doesn't work. It was never going to work. Kim is gone. The color is gone. He hasn't really been living life anymore, more like existing. The show has even visually depicted this with having the Gene scenes be completely in black and white. And you know, I've always been one of those people pulling for the (maybe cheesy, to some lol) moment where he sees Kim again and the color returns to his life. I might be off base with that one, but I am one hundred percent sure that they are going to reunite before the show is over. Better Call Saul might've originally been pitched as a thirty minute case of the week comedy about the sleazy lawyer from Breaking Bad, but it has become so much more than that. The heart of the show is Jimmy and Kim, and there's no way their story ends here imo.
