Do you ever just sit and think about how there are two (2) Killian Joneses, and they’re both precious peanuts done wrong by life itself... and both were saved by one (1) Emma Swan and given a second chance at love and happiness?
7x02 tells us, without a doubt, that Emma didn’t just happen to save OG Killian because she fell in love with him. It tells us that she was destined to save him, in one way or another, just as she was destined to save Wish Hook, as well. In any world, in any verse, with any version of him... Emma Swan is the Savior of Killian Jones. She is the reason he finds his true self, gets a second chance at life and love, and becomes the hero he was always meant to be.
And the very fact that Emma’s magic worked tells us that Emma not only accepts her Killian as the man he’s become... but that she loves and accepts all of his faults and the past missteps that have made him who he is. She loves him so completely, so thoroughly, that the true love she feels for him literally encompasses the man he could’ve been as well as the man he is.
That’s some beautiful shit right there, you guys, and I ain’t got patience for anyone who wants to throw it all out because “OMG THIS HOOK ISN’T WITH AN EMMA D:” Yeah, we get that, numbnuts. But she’s still his Savior, and being that means so much more, in so many different ways... if you let it.
