You know, again on the “celebrities shouldn’t do voice acting” front...
I think in Colin’s case, the main reason I feel that argument doesn’t apply to him at all is because he’s approaching the roles like an actual voice actor, NOT like a celebrity lending their voice to a project. He adopts accents and tones that aren’t his normal voice, in order to create a unique voice specifically for the character.
Most celebrities who voice a character are basically just doing their own voice. The film makers want it to just be their regular voice because they want it to be instantly recognizable as that celebrity’s voice. They basically just read the lines and put emotion into them... but in their own voice.
Gerry doesn’t have Colin’s voice. He has Gerry’s voice ❤️

I’m so glad Colin got to play a character who’s not only Irish af, he’s also comedic and gave him the chance to go all out in comedic acting.

I was unavailable for O’Donobatting last night, because I have a doctor’s appointment today and didn’t want to stay up too late.
I did see that Mr. O’Donoghue was, himself, an O’Donobat last night! Not sure if he’s in LA still and stayed up late or is in Ireland again and got up early, but he was posting/retweeting Luck stuff on his socials at, like, 1:30 EST.
