Curious Archer + Horror films.

What are Alice and Robin’s thought son horror films? Do they both love them? Does Alice find them too violent? Does she think she’s seen far scarier things? 

Etc. etc. Do they both hate them?

I feel like Robin would love them, actually. And I think Alice would probably be riding that thin line between “adorable” and “annoying” with constant comments about how “I’ve seen scarier” “that alien’s got nothing on a Jabberwocky” and “Oh, that same thing happened to me once” and I’m sure there’d be a lot of, “That zombie/monster/bandersnatch looks so fake, why didn’t they just use a real one?” and “Well, that’s just plain silly. Everyone knows a vampire’s skin doesn’t sparkle.”

@killian-whump Yes with the adorable/annoying, like Alice would be running continual commentary like “I don’t understand, why does he think murdering them is going to get him the money? He could easily just-” “wait, why is she running up the stairs? there’s never any logic in running up stairs!” “Ohhh that’s not going to come out of the carpet.” “Pffft, he’s never going to get very far with a knife like tha-NOOOO! NOT THE DOG! WHY THE DOG?!-”

And poor Robin takes a breath then turns with a strained smile

“How about we watch a comedy instead?”

“Sorry… am I doing it again?”

“It’s cool. Horror’s clearly aren’t your thing.”

And while Robin’s setting up a comedy, Alice can’t help but asking “I’m not so bad, am I? I mean, you should see my papa when we watch a movie about cops.”

“Oh dear God don’t remind me. Every time I see the poster for ‘21 jump street’ I get flashbacks.”

LOL okay, I love the idea that Jones and Alice both ramble during movies. Like, I am just over the moon for that :D

IMAGINE THEM WATCHING A HORROR MOVIE INVOLVING COPS

I can’t think of one off the top of my head, but I’m sure there’s something out there where cops face off against some kind of horrible monster, and it would just be an unending stream of “Well, that’s not proper procedure...” and “There’s no way a monster with those skinny little arms could rip that man’s head off. Why, this one time in Wonderland...” “He didn’t even read him his Miranda Rights. This arrest would never hold up in court.” “Are monsters from other realms even subject to the same laws?” “No one is above the law, Starfish.” “You try telling that to the Jabberwocky.”

Robin would be popcorning away, just watching them two.

Emma couldn’t hold back her tears as she crouched before the mutilated form of her husband. He’d been stabbed in the chest and through the hand, and his right shoulder hung grotesquely out of place. Blood caked his face and pooled in livid swellings from a recent beating. Red droplets dripped sluggishly off the tip of his nose and splattered, barely visible, onto the rust-tinged burlap on his torso. A haphazard mess of surgical staples did little to contain bone-deep lacerations on either side of his ankle. And a line of slowly oozing punctures trailed their way up both inner thighs until disappearing beneath the sackcloth smock.
