Once Upon a Time episode 2.12 “In the Name of the Brother”
Character: Killian Jones / Hook, portrayed by Colin O'Donoghue
Type of whumps: (hit by a car, landed on the windshield and roughly fallen to the ground unconscious,) grunting in pain for cracked ribs, probbed to assess damage and screaming in pain, in a hospital bed and moaning in pain, touched in purpose to cause pain and gasping, sharply inhaled and holding breath waiting for the pain to subdue, exhaled softly and grimacing.
PS: thanks to @mynightingalecomplex for the help and @killian-whump for the dedicated list! 🥰
The more I think about it, the more convinced I am that Colin has actually filmed as Superman.
The next possible appearance for Superman is "The Flash," which is supposed to feature the Flashpoint storyline. He wouldn't be the main character, but it seems like the alternate Superman would pop up to reinforce how different the universe is after the changes.
According to the few articles I've found, the movie was set to start filming in February and is currently in post-production. Colin's mysterious role around the time of Operation Con - when he was clean-shaven and seemed to have BLACK hair - falls right within this time frame. He could have easily snuck off to the US and filmed a small part.
And I think this is why he did the new photoshoot. Typically, photos like this are for magazine articles, and you don't write articles about a TV actor who is this currently just doing indie movies. They're going to start promoting "The Flash" soon, and they'd definitely want an article introducing the new Superman.
So, fingers crossed we find out everything SOON, because Colin is driving me freaking nuts.
“Get up.” they demanded aiming a kick at the whumpee’s already bruised ribs when there wasn’t an immediate response.
“I can’t.” they groaned and curled in further on themselves, closing their eyes to block out the unexpected light flooding their usually dark cell.
“Then crawl.”
Colin’s hair is so short 😭
I’VE ENTERED A TIME MACHINE AND COME OUT IN LIKE 1007

Okay, so… me being me, I looked all into this shit, because we need some new speculations and I even asked Colin yesterday for some clues to what he’s gonna be up to next and now here’s THIS and I like THIS, but this also seems
~ HIGHLY ~ SUSPICIOUS ~
Like, this is the kind of highly suspicious that doesn’t seem entirely random. I’m just not sure that Colin decided randomly to learn blacksmithing as a hobby for absolutely no reason.
I think there’s a reeeeeason. And I think it’s maybe his next project! :)
Obviously, this doesn’t point to anything like Superman or James Bond, haha.
BUT! It definitely leans towards a period piece or maybe a fantasy work.
I also find this verrrrrry interesting, considering we all suspect him to eventually show up in something with The Rock, and The Rock has announced a Netflix original movie based on folk heroes from around the world - could that show possibly be including a famous blacksmith?
When you look up famous legendary blacksmiths, one of the first ones to come up is… an Irish one, Goibnu :) There’s also the German Wayland the Smith - who happens to have an extremely angsty/whumpy tale about him, which we know is kinda a big draw for Colin (and us). Bless <3 There’s also the American Blacksmith of Brandywine, who also has a super angsty story, and the fairytale The Smith and the Devil, which was co-opted into a tale of St Dunstan. Whew! Lots of legendary blacksmiths, and I’m sure there’s even more out there.
Or it could be related to an entirely new project that isn’t even on our radar! Honestly, with the way Colin surprised us with the Dolly Parton anthology and Fairytale of New York, we really have to consider that odds are high this is going to be something we’re not even aware of as a possibility yet XD
Anyway, what do you guys think?!?!
or…. maybe he’s gonna be the new will turner???? in a rebooted pirates series??? :DDDDD
Oooooh, that’s an interesting idea! And Disney does like to work with people they’ve already worked with (and had success with), like putting Ginny and Josh in Zootopia. Very interesting speculation there...!
I don’t think the ship “Shadow Captain” has been explored enough…
Tell me more…
I’m listening...
So I took the part from this video where Colin is dancing a jig and put music on it… but I feel kinda weird sharing it publicly right now, but if you wanna have a laugh, follow this link for the post :P
