The trope where a character is restrained and the antagonist is approaching them and they start to panic. The fear in their eyes, their quick breaths, the way they squirm and writhe, struggling against the binds holding them tight. The little sounds of distress, or the louder words they cry at their captor. Could be pleas to stop, that they “don’t have to do this”, increasing in volume and desperation as their tormentor draws ever closer
