About Traci Thirteen, her powers remind me so much of Jinx from the original Teen Titans show. The two would get along….Unless Young Justice’s next season pulls a plot twist and is like “oh yeah, these two are the same person, we just combined them”, which I suppose would be cool.
I feel like they were kinda going for that in season 3 tbh since they explained Traci's powers as "bad luck" instead of "urban magic"
That was probably the intent to refer to jinx since she was such a popular character in TT03 and I don't think I'd have mind that since we already have so many characters, but I can see it being a bit frustrating to people who would want to see a more comic accurate jinx

Bartuardo songs I think of is Me and Michael by MGMT, for some reason FOB gives me their energy? I have no reasoning. I always give shitty teen boys All To Myself by Marianas Trench (honestly the Masterpiece Theater album can be pretty inspiring in and of itself, for bartuardo I'd recommend Cross My Heart and Beside You)
For a fic, I will always stand by Going Hyperspeed, I bring it up all the time and I never feel ashamed sorry not sorry there's so much in there to pull from.
We were talking about horror movies with them like Scream and Jennifer's Body (I also got an ask about Happy Death Day, I just hadn't answered it cuz it's been a hot minute since I've watched it but it's a fun movie, I think Bart as Tree would be kinda funny) (extra side note, Happy Death Day2U plays with quantum stuff which I think is funny when applied to Bart lol). I personally LOVE a good camp slasher setting (even if camp slashers aren't the best a lot of times...) so it'd be fun to dress them up in a 80s camp way!! (Fear Street 1987 is good, a non 80s themed movie that you can have fun with the rest of the Outsiders would be You Might Be The Killer)

IM SO EXCITED!!! It looks great! I'm loving Jaime's characterization it's very comic accurate, I'm also very excited to see the family aspect played out, it's one of my favorite things about Jaime.
And the family stuff is honestly what really sells Jaime as a Mexican Hero so I'm glad they seem to be an integral part for the movie I'm so so glad
Wally West with the Spencer Shay vibes. immaculate. imagining that while he does get used to teenagers just Appearing in the apartment he also does that thing Spencer does where if he's in a mood he greets Bart's friends by saying stuff like "Hello, people who don't live here!" and "Do you not have HOMES?". and then he specifically has to be an embarrassing relative any time Ed is around, ever (i do wonder what Wally and Ed's dynamic would be).
Wally can't even bring his own friends over to try to get back at Bart because his friends would side against him (Dick, Zatanna, Rocket, and Artemjs would purposefully side against him, Kaldur and Mgann would start on Wally's side but then find it funnier to bug him, Connor and Roy are free men they enjoy bugging both of them)
Regardless, the Outsiders and the Team would love being over there when they want something more lowkey compared to the Premiere building
I think Wally would like Ed, enjoy his more chill demeanor. Ed is just better at faking at NOT being a little shit all the time. Wally would like that he keeps very true to his civilian side, they'd enjoy mundane conversations. It resets every time Ed acts like a shitty teen with Bart, then Wally remembers "oh right he IS dating Bart" but he still feel betrayed
*shakes your hand* Bart IS the one more capable of being outwardly mean between him and Ed you're SO correct. i think Ed can be mean but only really when he's in a shitty mood/genuinely angry, and he feels bad about it later. Bart can be mean on purpose, with little prompting, and not be sorry about it. the "My wife is a bitch and I like her SO. MUCH." meme except it's Ed talking about Bart

fun fact: the reason Ed's hair is Like That is because it's quite literally functioning on anime logic. Phil Bourassa (the guy who designed Ed) actually confirmed ages ago that Ed was designed after the anime character Spike Spiegel, and the resemblance is VERY clear, not least of which in the gravity-defying head of hair. same though i've always figured Ed's hair is the equivalent of loose curls
Oh yeah I know about the Spike inspo! And WE ALL KNOW THE LIVE ACTION COWBOY BEEBOP WAS BAD but the live action Spike also has loose curls/ voluminous waves so! Ed!
you're so valid for being picky about AUs. i'm all for having fun with whatever, i place no judgements, but sometimes certain ships don't vibe as well as others! like the Bartuardo dynamic is too healthy to TRULY fit a JB AU, but the Scream AU works great because yeah they're killing people but their relationship with each other? rock solid.
