Little sweeter than I'd normally like, but no real complaints.

I've got a ginger-ish one planned

Nice. I need to make my apricot and plum ones

Got a short mead going now. Will be ready for Halloween!

How'd this turn out?

It was really good, actually. I heated it with some orange slices, apple, and cinnamon sticks.

Do you have anything brewing currently?

I've got jalapeño wine ready to bottle, an orange-chocolate beet wine that needs to be racked, jamaican mead that needs to be bottled, mead-lasses that is ready to be racked and an orange-juniper that is bubbling along nicely.

Hey y'all.

It's been a week. My F-i-L is kinda on his last legs (ironic for a double amputee) and will probably pass soon, like the next week or two.

And today, my mom fell and broke her femur.

Some prayers for erebody would be appreciated.

As an update, F-i-L is doing well, just incredibly low blood pressure.

Mom is planning on coming home today!

I know that this site has a habit of reblogging old posts from years ago and not caring about it, and often they're the hugely popular ones from 2012-2016 era. I don't mind this. It's fun and how the site is supposed to work.

What's weird is when someone reblogs something on my blog from 2010 that only had 3 notes to begin with because it's like 'hey get out of the basement! who said you were allowed down there in the trash?!'
