between “I already like you” “you’re asking the wrong guy” “did I disappoint you / you could never fail me” and walking in on them devoting themselves to each other while luffy held zoro’s hand to his heart, luffy always saying hi to zoro first & zoro standing next to luffy like a guard…………..usopp 100% thinks they’re dating. they’re not, but he sees every interaction thru shipper goggles. next season he’s going to watch zoro stress workout after leaving luffy to fight crocodile and think to himself “cute. also weird. very weird. but cute.”

no one ever talks about it. nami is just exasperated at the dumbass duo. sanji continues to treat luffy like his little meow meow which pisses zoro off to no end. but usopp just figures the reason is there’s not much to say about it. that’s just their capt & first mate! who like to fight side by side n hold hands n maybe kiss n shit he won’t judge! good for them! and sure when he drinks he may or may not wax about how poetic their love is / how much they make him miss kaya, spreading their story across the sea, but can you blame him? then one day he has his oh. moment. the oh shit they’re NOT dating…………?????!??!?
