2x04 x 8x24
That was the hardest thing I ever had to do.
What’s that, making the grilled cheese or singlehandedly saving the world from nuclear holocaust?
Making that call to you.
There is no thing. (S4 style)
Kensi & Deeks - Every kiss in every episode - S4E24 “Descent” - Status: Real

Densi - From No Hug to Never Letting Go - 1x19 vs. 8x24
We are highly trained operatives, alright? Equipped with the skill and experience to blend in to even the most dangerous of situations. They’re not gonna give us a second look.
I know people are upset at Frank Military, I honestly don’t think he is sexist or racist. IMO he didn’t just kill Michelle because she is a black woman, he did it because she made the most logical choice in terms of storytelling. All year they have been hinting at one of the team loosing a significant other to tragedy. Kensi has Deeks and Nell has Eric and with all 4 actors coming back next year, it can’t be them. Hetty is single & Callen’s relationship with Anna is too new IMO. Tahir swore that Sam would suffer, so to finish that plotline the either had to kill Michelle or Lord forbid one of the kids and then have Sam kill Tahir in revenge. Sad storyline, but unfortunately all too real with people in Sam & Michelle’s line of work.
THIS THIS THIS THIS!!!! ALL THE ABOVE!
I honestly dont understand why people should think that! This year we already lost Granger due to Miguel’s death and I think it was too difficult to even think a good storyline for the departure of another main character without losing balance (and why we shoud lose a main character in the first place?). Michelle was what we got as close as a main character without actually being one: we saw her for what, maybe five episodes, but we all loved her, her character was “established” and we know how much she meant to Sam. Military killed her off for the sake of the storyline and to allow a sprout of new storylines and the growth of sam’s character primarely and the others too. We’re in season 8 and we need to shuffle the cards on the deck, we needed some big change to let the characters and the plots grow. Kensi and Deeks had Kensi’s injury and the ia investigation, Callen had Joelle and his dad and Sam now has this. And for this I mean a really big deal, something that really gonna change the characters (not just Sam, what for example about Callen or right now Hetty’s and Nell’s career - and I dont even mention densi because we already know we’re gonna get the engagement, and I’m happy to know that because after all of this I sure as hell wouldnt think they’d finally do it, but maybe that’s what it propelled another proposal -) and their interactions.
I’m upset at Frank Military because he really made me hurt with that amazing episode and I still feel the need to cry my eyes out but that’s what does it mean to be a good writer. He was brave and he treated the plot and the characters so well. I hoped until the very last second she was still alive but I also knew how the episode had been built. If you’re a good writer you can’t build an episode like that and then dont push it full out, it would mean to play around the audience using the very easy and abused card of the last minute everything’s ok, which is fine with the case of the week but a little coward while an important character is involved. And I think the show and the watchers deserve brave writers. It was not because Michelle was a woman or because she was black, it was because she was important. her death, and only her death, can permit to change everything without actually change everything about the balance of the show. IMO it was not a gratoitous death, just to make the last episodes more sensational or dramatic, it has a meaning. All of this being said, if next week we’re gonna find that Michelle for some reasons isnt actually dead I’ll be the happiest ever (maybe a little -a lot- disappointed in Military) but the happiest nonetheless, because I’m scared of what’s gonna happen to the characters and I’m gonna miss her and what she meant so much (even if we basically never saw her).
I hate the argument about Ziva, Jackie, Kate, etc. from NCIS. NCIS and NCIS LA, especially now with the split in time slots, are very separate things and this is the first time NCIS LA has killed off an important woman. And I don’t see how it was racist at all. It’s complexifying Sam’s character. And emphasizes Michelle’s importance tenfold as opposed to if she was still alive. I just don’t get it, thanks for posting this @ryan9098
