Hello! Are you planning to translate the animal rap battles series that ishida is posting? I didn't find any translations on twitter
Not at the moment besides maybe some tidbits since lyrics especially raps are really hard to TL properly and I’m working on some other stuff right now. Black Cat Scanlations has the first couple chapters that I think captured the flow perfectly but they’re really behind.

Cause it means that Juuzou never knew how to truly smile because of his fucked up past. His smiles weren’t real, just mimicking the actions of what he thought a smile looked like.

I can't find anything about the prompt of the ask, just the comment of cocho__morinaga that says "I was really excited because the The answer is different from what most fandom thinks"
It get me so exited that I tried to write to choco morinaga... The facts is that I asked her in English ( that also isn't my frist language) I think that she or he can't understand it.

I know which question you’re talking about. I’d like to ask them too, but I’m hesitant on asking her out of the blue unless she brings up the topic herself in her tweets and whatnot. It might happen soon since Ishida’s art exhibit just began, or someone else who’s been to the exhibit might talk about it since they’ve made the Q&As available for viewing. Cross your fingers 🤞

I love how she still can’t cook. There was that one omake where she cooked for the Zero Squad kids but it tasted bad, and then Kaneki showed up with his delicious food LOL.

I definitely will, I just haven’t had the time lately because I’ve started nursing school this year and it’s kicking my ass haha. I’ve been able to manage to do small chunks of TLs but larger ones I’ve set to the side for now (which also includes the Jack Jeanne short stories). Still trying to figure out how to manage my time with the schoolwork I have, but I’m hoping I can come back to zakki:re in October 🙏

Hello! I have translation questions, if you don't mind. Does sekigan mean one-eyed exactly? The Italian official translation keeps it as it is but I know the French one translates it as one eyed. Also I wondered how you felt about translating the kagune types. Official French does it but I rarely see it in scanlations. Thank you for your time and have a nice day
Sorry for the late reply, I haven’t been checking my inbox lately. But yes, sekigan means one-eyed. As for the kagune types, I think it’s fine either way. We’re used to it only because the first scanlator group left it as it is, but if I saw the kagune/ghoul terms for the first time, I probably would have translated it since they’re terms not based on Japanese culture in particular.
