I watched this old YouTube video of Alex O'Connor, who identifies as an atheist. I found it very interesting because he is the first atheist I've seen who openly admitted to still having fears of "hell," due to him having been raised as a Roman Catholic. It just shows how insidious Christian conditioning is. I still struggle with this, as well, and I wasn't even raised religious. I think the "hell" idea is really the only thing keeping Christians in line. Without this idea of "hell," I think Christianity as a religion would fall apart.
Richard Dawkins is an evolutionary biologist and atheist. He lives in the UK. This is a video of Mr. Dawkins reading some of the hate mail he’s received from the internet trolls. The way he reads the naughty bits and the giggling of the film makers in the background makes for 5+ minutes of pure fun. (Be warned: lots of seriously naughty trash obscene words in here. But that’s what makes it fun.)
It’s 3 hours long, but definitely worth a watch. Sam Harris and Cenk Uygur Clear the Air on Religious Violence and Islam on TYT.
Bad Boy Bubby (1993)
Yo, this movie is bananas! It's like a way more twisted, grimy, dirty, perverse version of Forrest Gump. And it also has this awesome "atheist" speech (referenced above), which I found hilarious! Watch it if you want to see a crazy, transgressive, and at the same time charming movie from Australia.
HAHAHAHAHA!!! Poor Neil Tyson. He does the best he can to educate the masses, but what can you do? ;P
