I was trying to force my brain to make twilight fanart for an event and I ended up making a vampire OC who works as an ambassador like how you have wild animal ambassadors who are used to interacting with humans? Also they're at the vampirism stage of completely bald and grey and lanky. Haven't decided on a gender for them yet but they've lost their reproductive organs and their nipples because vampires don't need those so they just get absorbed by their bodies. Same with most of the length of their intestines since they only need to metabolize blood. Much more sensible drawbacks for vampires than sparkly skin imo.

If they ever make a live action Alcibiades and they give him a typical Hollywood handsomeguy square jaw I'm rioting. He needs a smoother, softer jaw like the statues. Look at the statues man.
