First look at my Mirabel Madrigal cosplay from Encanto.
I spent months hand embroidering that skirt and it's still not 100% finished yet. Hoping to have it done by Spring Geddon.

WIP Wednesday!
The main parts of the dress are done!!!! All I've left to do now are the accessories like - the hat, stockings, wings and gloves.
Some more Cardcaptor Sakura red dress WIP.
Today I finished the actual red dress part. The dress itself was simple enough to put together but the embroidery along the hem took me three days. I designed the embroidery myself using elements pulled from the Clow cards.
I can almost see the end of this project now!
Finished the underdress for my Cardcaptor Sakura opening dress.
I'm so happy with the silhouette I was able to accomplish.
Daisy Buchanan from The Great Gatsby
Never say never but...
Until I find away to do those glass teardrops on the cheap or to be able to afford the 1000s that go in to buying them this dress will always be in the maybe pile.
It's a simple enough costume to make, the only thing holding me back from doing it is the cost of the feather boas. One day I'll save up enough to buy them.
Sakura is well underway. Jupiter I've half collected the fabrics for.
Mirabel and Ken are for the last con of the year in October.
Padme's are only in collection mode at the moment. But as soon as I'm done with Sakura and Jupiter, they're up next!
Weird, black clothes, creepiness.
Literally used to dress as her as a child too.

I dunno man, this one here was kind of a dream come true. The biggest and best and most challenging costume I've made to date.

Day Four : Your cosplay communities, where do you go to talk about cosplay?
Mostly Instagram Happy to answer any and all questions cosplay related there.
I have my own website where I've tried to document the process of every costume I've ever made.
In the last year I've started my YouTube channel as another means of sharing my creative process.
And of course, most recently this Tumblr account!
Day Three : Your most recent cosplay.
Arwen from Lord of the Rings : Return of the King
Made in a week for a bit of fun. I actually have a full making of video of her over on my YouTube if you're interested *click here*

Here is just about everything I have ever made or worn. (Minus this years stuff.)
If you want to check out any of them individually, head over to my website and click on any of the photos. Most of them have a blog write up on how they were made and a gallery of photos. Link here.
Day One : Your first cosplay
Cardcaptor Sakura - 2008
So yeah, this was my first ever costume that I had a hand in actually making. Fitting too, because I'm currently remaking it.
As far as first cosplays go, it wasn't entirely awful. I mean, it wasn't falling apart and you can tell who it is(?).
My Arwen cosplay that I made earlier this year.
