last night we had our friend group christmas party (for the second year!) and i wore my knit waldo hat, which became kind of popular and one of my friends ran off with it...not sure i’ll be seeing it again. ANYWAY we already have a sock exchange tradition, which is pretty great, and new idea is to knit christmas hats for all of them next year, because wouldn’t that be a hilarious group photo?

So close to having this sweater finished, but I am stumped by how many seams I have to sew up. Oy, it’s going to be a task. So for now I am just going to use it as a blanket 😅

it’s official - i’m completely out of control.
since returning home from official vacation 3 days ago, i have gotten almost zero research work done. instead, i have found myself sucked into the vortex of spinster aunthood i.e. an embarrassing amount of time spent looking at cute baby knits on pinterest and ravelry, an extremely thorough browse through the yarn aisles at michaels (with plans for a trip number 2), and more hours than i would like to admit spent knitting baby hats while watching...the only way is essex.
omg i want this. like, there is no way i would be able to pull it off like the girl in the picture, and i would look ridiculous, but i still want it.
