I just finished the forth chapter of my lovely kakayama fic "Stay"

Stay (chapter 4)

Kakashi opened his eyes. Sunlight came in through the gaps in the pavilion window curtains. He checked his smartphone. 8am.

After getting up and sitting for a while on his extra bed, he stood up and walked to the bedroom, looking for Tenzo. The bedroom door was open and the bed was neatly made, but Tenzo wasn't there. Likewise in the bathroom. He then went to the mini kitchen and found a tray with breakfast menu on it: rice, rolled omelettes and miso soup. As well as a memo "Morning, senpai! I went out to buy some ingredients at the market near hear, and made breakfast. Hope you like it. I saw you slept so deep, so I didn't wake you up. I have to work now. See you :)"

Kakashi smiled. Actually the resort provides breakfast for customers. But he chose tenzo's made. And it's delicious. That time was the first time Kakashi ate food made by Tenzo, and he planned to make food too for his Kohai.

3pm.

Tenzo had finished his job. He planned to look for an apartment to stay. But when he stepped out of the supermarket, someone with a bicycle was already waiting for him.

"Senpai?" Tenzo was surprised.

"Wanna ride a bike together?"

Tenzo chukled (remembering he and his senpai used to ride a bike together to school), then nodded. And still, just like the past time, Tenzo sits in front of Kakashi, he steers the bicycle handlebars, while Kakashi pedals.

They cycled to the hill where their favorite willow tree was. Kakashi parked his bicycle near the tree, then took a bento box and a drinking bottle from the bicycle basket. They sat under the willow tree.

"I made some onigiri. Wanna taste it?"

"Sure!" Tenzo took one and ate it. "It's so delicious! You're a pretty good cook, senpai!"

"You too...I like the breakfast you made..."

They eat, drink and chat.

"Where will we go next, senpai?"

"You decide..."

"Umm...school?"

"Alright.."

Then there they were, riding along the road they used to take when going to school. The afternoon breeze blew cool. There was a feeling of happiness in their hearts when they returned along that road, like a flashback to their happy childhood days.

15 minutes later they arrived in front of Konoha High School. That afternoon the learning activities had finished, so the school looked rather quiet. There are still several students who have not gone home because they are taking part in extracurricular activities.

"Come in?" asked kakashi. Tenzo smiled and nodded. They entered the school yard. Kakashi parked the bike. They walked around the main building. Not much has changed.

"You know, senpai? A year after you lived, Kushina sensei married Minato sensei..."

"Really?"

"Mhm... They are a sweet couple. Both of them are good teachers. Everyone at school says that Minato Sensei fell in love with Kushina Sensei since the first time he saw her at this school..."

Kakashi and Tenzo arrived at the back yard of the school where Kakashi was bullied by Kabuto and his gang. He looks up, at the window where he saw tenzo for the first time.

"I do believe it, love at the first sight..." He then looked at Tenzo and smiled behind his mask. Tenzo looks at the window too, then at kakashi, and gets blushed.

"Let's get inside!" Kakashi took Tenzo's hand, they entered the school building.

After looking around the inside of the building, including their class, Kakashi and Tenzo walked out, towards the parking lot. Then Tenzo got an idea.

"Senpai?"

"Hmm?"

"Can I learn to ride the bike?"

"Sure!"

Honestly, Tenzo can't ride a bike alone yet. So Kakashi taught him. Kakashi patiently taught Tenzo to ride a bicycle. Soon Tenzo was able to ride the bicycle.

"This is so fuuuun!" Tenzo shouted while pedaling his bicycle.

"Slow down!" Kakashi shouted

Tenzo felt so happy until he didn't realize there was a downhill road ahead of him. The bike was going faster and faster and Tenzo couldn't control it.

"Tenzo!!!" Kakashi shouted as he ran after Tenzo.

Tenzo steered his bicycle to the side to stop. The bike hit a tree and he fell.

"Are you right?" Kakashi immediately knelt down to help Tenzo get up. Tenzo's feet and hands were scratched.

Tenzo sobbed in pain then nodded. "I'm sorry, senpai..."

Kakashi sighed "Come on!" Kakashi gave his back "We need to cure your wonds immediately..."

"The bike?"

"It's okay. I will call the bike rental later..."

Tenzo put his arm around Kakashi's shoulder and Kakashi carried him on his back and walked back to the resort.

"I am so sorry senpai...." he was very sorry. Kakashi smiled "It's alright, tenz...". Tenzo hugged Kakashi tighter and Kakashi carried him tighter too.

A few moments later they arrived at the front yard of Uciha Resort, passing through the parking lot. Several cars were parked there. One of those cars was Rin's. From inside her car, she saw kakashi carrying tenzo. A feeling of tightness immediately appeared in her heart. She then took his smartphone and dialed someone's number.

"Obito..."

"Hey Rin! What's up?"

Rin was silent for a moment then said "I need your help..."

Stay (chapter 3)

"Kakashi's junior?" Said Rin. She and obito were waiting for kakashi and tenzo inside the car. "Kakashi has never told me about him...He never even told me before that he ever lived here...." said her again.

"Yeah....he never told me too... I just met Tenzo this morning, before I met you two. He helped me get my wallet back from a thief.... I didn't expect at all the he knows kakashi... What a small world..." said obito.

"I feel like...I don't know much about kakashi..." Rin looked down.

"Hey rin...it's fine. Let's say that this is a part of the process you learn to know your future husband more and better..." obito smiled. He patted Rin's shoulder to calm her down.

"Thanks, Obito..." said Rin. Suddenly her phone rang, she answered it..."Yes mom?"

Outside the car, the beach breeze that afternoon blew Tenzo's long brunet hair.

"You haven't changed much. Your hair is still as long as before..." said Kakashi smiling behind his mask.

Tenzo blushed, he tucked his hair behind his ear. "Senpai hasn't changed either, still wearing a mask..." said Tenzo smiling.

"Hmm...." Kakashi responded by humming.

The sound of the waves filled the momentary silence between them.

"I am...sorry, tenz...I shouldn't leave you like that..." Kakashi stared at the waves.

"It's alright, senpai. I can understand. I read your letter..."

"Oh, so your dad gave you my letter? Thanks God...I thought he didn't like me when I came to your house..." Kakashi remembered Danzo's cynical face when he opened the door for him.

"Umm...Actually...I found your letter in the rubbish basket...at the next day..."

"What?!!!"

Tenzo smiled resignedly.

"I came here last year..." said kakashi again after another silent moment. "To your house.... But the house was empty. I asked your neighbors, but they said they had no idea where you and your dad moved...."

Tenzo looked down, his memory returning to that night, the night when suddenly several fierce-looking men came to their house. Tenzo thought that they were ordinary buyers who wanted to buy sake. It turned out that they had come to confiscate their house because Danzo had a large debt to their boss, and had not paid it off even though the deadline had passed. Finally that night Danzo told Tenzo to pack his things and move. Not only did they move to one house, but they had to move from one house to another. Often because the landlord evicted them because they couldn't pay the rent. That's why Tenzo decided to stop going to school and started to work, so they could rent a house and buy daily necessities.

"My dad had a debt, and he couldn't pay it off, so our house was confiscated, and we had to move..."

A few silent moments again...

"How is school?" asked kakashi.

"I....didn't continue school, senpai. We don't have enough money, so I started to work...."

Kakashi looked at Tenzo with concern "I am really sorry, Tenz...."

"It's fine, senpai..." Tenzo smiled "It was hard at first, but it's getting better now..."

Deep down in his heart, kakashi really wants to hug tenzo....tightly...but he can't....

"Kakashi...." suddenly Rin called him from behind. "My mom called. She said that there are several things that I need to fix for our wedding ceremony..."

Wedding???? Asked tenzo inside his heart.

"Oh...alright. I'll take you back to town..." said Kakashi.

"I have to go back to city too... There are some important documents I have to sign..." Said Obito.

"Right. Looks like we have to go now, tenz... But we can take you to your house first..." said kakashi.

"Oh, no need to senpai. I...have to buy some stuff at the market..." Tenzo has no other choice besides lying, he can't tell the truth that he has no place to go home.

"You sure?" Asked kakashi, like he can feel that tenzo is hiding something.

Tenzo nodded and smiled as best as he could.

"Okay, time to go then. It's very nice to meet you, Tenzo.." said Rin.

"Nice to meet you too, Rin..." said Tenzo bowed.

"See you Tenzo! I am sure we'll meet again...veeeeery soon..." said Obito grinned and waved his hand.

Tenzo bowed again and chukled.

"See you Tenz..." said Kakashi.

"See you senpai..." Tenzo smiled genuinly. He watched the car drive away from the beach, then he exhaled... suddenly something drop...blood...from his nose.... "Oh no...I have a nosebleed again...." he immediately took a tissue from in his backpack and stuck it to his nostril.

A few moments later, Tenzo sat next to a vending machine selling cold canned drinks. He put a can of cold drink on his nose to stop the bleeding. After making sure that the bleeding had stopped, he opened the cane and drank.

"Maybe I'm too tired today..." he sighed. "Where should I go now?" He asked him himself, since it's impossible for him to go home. He decided to walk again. His feet brought him to his favorite place beside the beach, the big willow tree at the hill. The place where he and kakashi used to spend time together after school. He sat under the tree, leaned his back against the large and sturdy tree trunk, and closed his eyes. He never thought that he would meet his senpai again. That was a surprise, a big one, and the only thing that made him happy today after a terrible thing that happened at his house before. It was like a dream...a sweet dream...then he fell asleep...

"Tenz...?" A voice woke him up...sounds familiar, and a hand touched his shoulder softly...

Tenzo opened his eyes..."Senpai???" Tenzo rubbed his eyes, making sure that he wasn't dreaming. It's already night, and Kakashi is kneeling right in front of him.

"What are you doing here?" They asked each other at the same time...

Kakashi smiled "You fell asleep here? Shouldn't you go home?"

"I...can't...go home..." Tenzo answered softly while looking down.

"What do you mean? Why can't you go home?"

Tenzo wasn't sure if he should tell the truth to his senpai or not....

"Tenz...what happened?" asked kakashi softly.

Tenzo started sobbing...then told kakashi everything.

"What?!!!" Kakashi couldn't hide his shock and anger. He hugged Tenzo, "I'm so sorry, Tenz...it's alright...you're safe now...."

In the midst of his sobs, Tenzo said..."Thanks, senpai..."

Half an hour later Kakashi and Tenzo arrived at Uciha Green Resort. The resort owned by the Obito family is a luxury accommodation on a large plot of land. The rooms are not multi-floor like in a five-star hotel but are in the form of pavilions with beautiful gardens, mini bridges and artificial fountains. After receiving the key at the reception, Kakashi and Tenzo walked towards the pavilion that Obito had reserved for Kakashi.

"This resort is so beautiful..." said Tenzo, amazed.

"It is. Obito's family, named Uciha, is the biggest company in resorts and hotels."

After arriving in front of his pavilion, kakashi tap the card key so the door opened. Both of them came in and changed their shoes with room sandals. Suddenly, there was a sound...from Tenzo's stomach.

"Have you had something for dinner?" asked kakashi.

"Umm...not yet..." said Tenzo shyly.

"Me too..." Kakashi smiled. He then walked to the mini kitchen inside the pavilion. "Let's see what we got here, instant ramens, some snacks, tea, coffee, and water. How about ramen and hot tea for tonight?"

Tenzo smiled and nodded.

A couple minutes later they sat on the sofa with ramen and hot tea. Tenzo ate so greedily that he didn't realize that he was being watched by Kakashi.

"Are you so hungry?"

Tenzo stopped eating and nodded ackwardly. Kakashi smiled and rubbed Tenzo's head.

After eating his ramen, Tenzo shipped his hot tea, then asked, "Whuuuh...sooo delicious! Thank for the dinner, senpai!" Tenzo said cheerfully.

Kakashi hummed as the answer while he shipped his tea.

"Why did you come here again, senpai?"

Kakashi put his tea cup on the table. "Obito will hold a soft opening ceremony for this new resort. He asked me to show some of my paintings here to decorate the room that will be used for the ceremony. So, here I am..."

"I see...so you really are an artist now?"

"Mhm..."

"Amazing!"

"I'm not that amazing, tenz...."

"Of course you are! You made your dream come true! To be an artist!"

Kakashi smiled. "By the way...How do you know Obito?"

"Oh...we just met this morning. Someone stole his wallet at the supermarket I worked for. Then I spilled the water I was using to mop so the thief slipped. And I took the wallet and gave it back to Obito..."

Kakashi laughed "You always save people with water..."

Tenzo just realized it too, remembering how he saved kakashi from Kabuto and his gang when they were kids. He laughed too.

"How about you senpai, how do you know Obito?"

"Oh, we had known each other for a long time. We were neighbors, we also studied at the same kindergarten and same elementary school. With Rin too.... We had been separated for several years, but we met again at the university. Each of us took different major but at the same campus I took art, Obito took business management, and Rin took medicine..."

Rin? Tenzo remembered something then, about the wedding...rin was senpai's future wife and they were going to get married....

"...Tenz? Tenzo?"

"Oh...sorry...senpai..."

"Something on your mind?"

"Oh...umm..so..so you three have known each other for a long time..I see.."

"Yeah..." Kakashi took his tea cup again and shipped it. "You worked at a supermarket? Is that new? I don't remember there was a supermarket here..."

"Yeah, many new things here now... That supermarket just opened last year..."

"What days do you work there?"

"Monday to Saturday..."

"I see. So you have to work tomorrow?"

"Yeah...tomorrow morning, before the supermarket opened..."

"You want to take a rest now? It's already 10 pm. You have to wake up early, right?

"Yes, senpai..." Tenzo smiled.

"You want to take a bath first? You can wear my clothes after that..."

Tenzo nodded and smiled again, wider now.

One hour later, Tenzo was already in bed, after Kakashi insisted him to sleep inside the bed room while he himself slept in the TV room with extra bed. Kakashi tuned the lights off.

"I will let the door open a little. If you need anything, just call me..."

"Thanks, senpai..."

"Night, tenz..."

"Umm...senpai!"

"Hmm?"

"I am very happy to meet you again..."

Kakashi smiled "Me too..."

"Night, senpai..."

Honestly, Tenzo still couldn't stop thinking about Kakashi and Rin's wedding, but he felt so tired, so he felt asleep.

So does kakashi. He also thought about his wedding with Rin. After lying on the extra bed, that memory came again. Last year, after he couldn't find Tenzo, he went back to the capital city and held his paintings exhibition. At that time he was standing in front of one of his painting. A painting of a willow tree on a hill. Then Rin came standing next to him.

"What a beautiful tree..." Rin said.

"It is..." said Kakashi still staring at the painting.

"I love trees too. It's very beneficial for human life. I hope I will be a tree in the afterlife..."

Kakashi was surprised, he then looked at Rin. Become a tree?

That was the moment that made him let rin (who had fallen in love with kakashi since they were kids) enter his heart and agree to the wedding.

But now...finally he found his lost tree...his true tree...that he'd ever promised to stay with forever...what he has to do now?

Stay (chapter 2)

"I will hold a soft opening party to celebrate my new hotel that I built in Konoha Village. It's a beautiful village, you know?" Said obito on phone one day.

"I know.." answered kakashi shortly.

"You kidding me..."

"I am not kidding. I've ever lived there before. Why do you tell me about it?"

"You can show your paintings there. I will prepare a special room for that. So all the guests can enjoy the atmosphere of the village and the hotel more. There will be some important persons come there, my family business's partners. All the rich people in this country. Maybe they will be interested in your paintings. How's that?

Kakashi didn't answer immediately.

"Pleaseeeee..." said Obito.

Kakashi sighed heavily "Alright..."

Back to Konoha is a bittersweet thing for Kakashi. It's sweet, so sweet even, because he found his first love from the very first sight there, and they have many sweet memories too. But it's also bitter because he had to leave his first love suddenly without any chance to say goodbye directly. And he can't find him anywhere.

He went there last year after he finished his art bachelor's degree abroad. But he couldn't find him. He went to his house but unluckily he and his father had moved several years before, and no neighbors knew where they moved.

But as this is his best-fried request, he will do it.

"Where are you guys? What took you so long?" Asked obito on phone.

"Sorry Obito...there are several things that we have to fix first for the engagement event. But we're on our way now. We'll be there in an hour." Rin answered.

"Great! Because I am already starving..."

"Then why don't you eat first. You'll be dumber when you're hungry..." said Kakashi casually while driving. Rin who was sitting beside him chukled.

"Yeah...yeah...You can say that easily, bakashi! Because that beautiful lady next to you who will be your wife soon never let you starving. Ooh...poor me...a handsome and rich single man who are picking snacks and soft drinks alone to reduce my starving..."

"Obito...." Rin blushed and chuckled. "Maybe you'll find someone there..."

"Yeah...hopefully. By the way guys, there are some good restaurants here. I want to pick you...Aaww! Hey! Watch your step, man!"

"Obito? What's going on?" Rin asked.

"Someone bumped into me...very annoying..." replied Obito while fixing his earphones.

"Are you sure he hit you? Maybe you were the one who hit him because you're starving and already get dumber..." said Kakashi.

"Kakashi..." said Rin.

"Clearly he did! Cause I am just walking casually towards the cashier, while he walks like he's being chased by a ghost... Heh...wait...where is my wallet???" Obito reached into his trouser pocket.

"Something wrong, sir?" Asked the cashier.

"Umm...I am sure I saved my wallet in my pocket, but...." then Obito realized... "My wallet was stolen! It must be the man! Heeeyyy!" Obito shouted for the man who had hit him. "Thieeeff!!!"

Suddenly the people in the supermarket were shocked and turned to Obito. "Stop him! He is a thief! He stole my wallet!!!"

Obito's shout made the thief speed up his running, so he didn't realize that a cleaning staff had deliberately spilled water in front of him and made him slip. Then the cleaning staff who spilled the water searched the thief and found a wallet in his jacket pocket.

"Is this your wallet, sir?" Asked the cleaning staff.

"Oh...yeah...it is.... Thanks..."

"No problem..." The cleaning staff friendly smile made his wide eyes curve.

"So sweet..." thought Obito.

Then two security staffs appeared and arrested the thief.

"Obito? Thief? What happened?" Rin asked worriedly.

"No...nothing serious....." Obito sighed.

"You okay, dude?" asked kakashi.

"Yeah...I'm okay. I'll see you later guys. I'll share the restaurant's location. Bye." Obito pressed the red button on his smartphone screen. Then he rushed to complete the transaction at the cashier. Then looked for the cleaning staff who had helped him. But he couldn't find him. Then he asked one of the staff.

"Oh...do you mean tenzo?" Asked the staff.

"Tenzo?"

"Yes, a cleaning staff with wide eyes..."

"Oh...yes...yes...do you know where he is now?"

"I'm sure he is on his way to going home now, because his shift is done and he always goes home as soon as he finishes his job..."

"Oh...no...Do you know where he lives?"

"I'm sorry I don't know sir. But you can fine him at the backdoor, all staff will pass that door to go home. You can exit through the front door and turn into the small alley to the right of this supermarket..."

"I see. Thanks!" Obito immediately came out and turned into the alley that the staff had referred to earlier. Just as he turned he saw Tenzo, with a different appearance. If earlier he was wearing a uniform and hat, this time he was wearing a t-shirt and jeans with long brunet hair that flowed down to his shoulders.

"Hey..." Greeted Obito.

Tenzo was a little surprised then confirmed who the man in front of him was talking to. Since there was no one else besides him, it meant that the man in front of him was talking to him. "Oh...hey..."

"Tenzo, right?"

"I am...."

"I am Obito..." Obito stretched out his right hand. Tenzo shook Obito's hand hesitantly. "I want to thank...again...for your help earlier...to save my wallet from that thief..." said Obito.

"Oh...you're welcome..." answered Tenzo kindly.

"I don't know what will happen next if you don't help me..."

Tenzo smiled. It looks sweeter and makes Obito's chicks warm. He cleared his throat, "Umm...would you...would you mind having lunch with me. I...I want to treat you..." Obito rubbed his neck nervously.

"Oh...you're so kind. But I am sorry, I have to go know. I already have an appointment..."

"Oooh...I see. It's alright. Umm...can I...can I have your number, just in case we can have lunch together one day?"

"I'm sorry...I don't have a phone..."

"Oh...fine...it's alright...I can meet you again here, right?"

"Yes. I am sorry, I have to go now..." said Tenzo.

"Okay. Nice too meet you, Tenzo..."

"Nice to meet you too, Obito..."

Tenzo bowed then left. Obito was still amazed "Usually it's so easy for me to make someone be amazed. I think this one is different.... more challenging. Maybe Rin was right. I'll find someone here..." He smiled.

Danzo advised him to go home immediately after work, because there was something important he wanted to say. That's why Tenzo ran towards his house. It didn't matter to him, because running through Konoha village had been his routine since he was still at school. While running, he surveyed his village. A lot has changed over the last 8 years. The village is still green and beautiful, but there is starting to be development here and there. He really hopes that no matter how much development occurs, it will not damage the village where he was born and a place that holds many memories, both beautiful and sad memories.

As soon as he arrived in front of his house, Tenzo saw a luxury car parked in front of his house. "Whose car? Are there any guests?" he thought. Then he opened the front door and entered his house.

"I'm home!" Said tenzo.

"Oooh...there you are! Danzo's pretty son!" Said someone.

Tenzo was surprised. A fat middle-aged man sat in the living room holding a cane, and a young man stood next to him looking like a bodyguard while his father sat on the opposite side.

"Tenzo...This is Mr Murayama...Great him!"

Even though Tenzo was a little doubtful and suspicious of the guest, he bowed in respect.

"Tenzo...what a sweet name! As sweet as the look. You're so lucky, Danzo..." the man named Murayama got up from his seat using a stick and walked over to Tenzo. Tenzo started to feel that something's wrong, he stepped back.

"Oh...don't be afraid dear. From now on you will get a very much better life with me..." Murayama was about to touch Tenzo's long hair. But tenzo immediately brushed Murayama's hand away.

"Don't touch me!" Said Tenzo.

Murayama laughed. "Well...well...apparently so brave too. No problem. I like it...."

"What do you want? Dad?"

"Tenzo, starting today you have to live with Mr Murayama..." said Danzo looking down.

"What??? Why???"

"Of course to pay off your poor father's debts, dear..." said Murayama.

"What????"

"Come here, my dear..." Murayama was about to take Tenzo's hand. But Tenzo brushed it off again and kicked hard right at Murayama's dick. Murayama immediately bent over in pain. The bodyguard immediately approached to arrest Tenzo, but Tenzo quickly took a small spray from his bag and sprayed it right into the bodyguard's eyes. The bodyguard immediately covered his face because it hurt.

"Tenzo!" Said Danzo getting up from his seat.

Tenzo didn't care, he immediately left the house and ran as fast as he could.

"The food is soooo delicious, Obito!" Rin said in the car. He, kakashi, and obito had just finished lunch at a seafood restaurant. And now they're on their way to Obito's hotel.

"My hotel staff told me about the restaurant. She said there are some other good restaurants too here. Is that right, kakashi? You've ever lived here, right?" Asked obito from the sit behind.

"Mhm..."

"Really? You've never told me, kakashi?" Said Rin.

"I lived here when I was at junior high school, but it was only couple months. I had to go back to capital city because my father's boss passed away, and my father had to be his successor..."

"I see..." said Rin.

"My staff also said that there are some beautiful spots here..." said Obito.

"That's true. I'll take you to one of the most beautiful spots here..." Kakashi turned his car towards the only beach in Konoha village.

15 minutes later they arrived at the beach. Rin immediately took off her high heels and felt the soft sand. Obito stretched his body while enjoying the breeze. While Kakashi closed his eyes, feeling memory after memory with Tenzo flash through his mind like movie, and his chest filled with emotions. He took a deep breath and exhaled slowly.

"Hey guys...I can do something..." Said Kakashi. Rin and Obito turned and saw Kakashi taking a piece of wood and drawing something on the sand. Kakashi drew the faces of Rin, Obito, and himself.

"It's so beautiful, Kakashi!"

"Hey hey...why do you draw me so weird like that?"

"Because it is really you..." Kakashi answered casually. Rin chukled.

Meanwhile on the road by the beach, Tenzo stopped running. His breath was still short. He wiped his tears and took a closer look at a car parked there. Then he turned his gaze towards the beach. He gasped. There is someone who is drawing on the sand, someone with silver hair and masked face. There's no mistaking it...that's for sure....it must be him....

Tenzo immediately ran and hugged the person from behind.

"Tenzo?" Asked Obito confused.

Rin was shocked and confused too, really didn't expect what was happening..."Tenzo?"

Kakashi also shocked...very shocked...

"Tenz... Is that you?" asked kakashi

(Chapter 1)

"Listen tenzo...honestly, I really don't want to give you any punishment again. But I have no choice... You keep coming late to school and keep not doing your homework. I do believe that you are a good kid , tenzo... So, would you promise me not to come late again and start to do your homework?" Asked Kushina Sensei.

Tenzo looked down. From the bottom of his heart, tenzo really wants to answer "yes", but he has no choice too. He has to help his father at their mini sake bar until late night or he will be scolded by his father. And after helping his father, he felt too tired and sleepy to finish his homework. That's why he will get up late the next morning and has to run as fast as he can to school, and of course hasn't done his homework.

Kushina sensei sighed. "Alright then...I need you to clean and tidy up the sports equipment storage room upstairs while reflecting on your mistakes and thinking about what you should do to fix them..."

"Alright, sensei..."

Tenzo left his classroom and walked weakly towards the sports equipment storage on the top floor of his school building.

While contemplating what Kushina sensei said along the hallway, he heard several girls were talking about something excitedly.

"A new boy?"

"Yes, the one that tall with silver hair and mask! Awww...he looks so cool..."

"How do you know he is cool while half of his face is masked?"

"I don't know...but I believe that the face behind the mask is pretty good...maybe he just got a cold..."

Then they chuckled.

"Do you think he has any girlfriend?"

"I don't know...I heard that he just moved here. Probably he doesn't have any..."

"I hope that too...But with his mysterious and cool aura...Maybe he already had one at the previous place...."

"Or maybe more than one...Who knows?"

Then they chuckled again.

Tenzo just rolled his eyes while walking passed them. It doesn't interest him at all. All he needs to think about is his fate, how he won't be late for school again, and how he can finish his homework while still helping his father so he doesn't get scolded.

And there he is, in front of the sports equipment storage warehouse. Some kids believe that there is a ghost or unseen spirit inside. Whatever it is, Tenzo still has to clean it. So he sighed heavily and opened the door, then started to tidy up the equipment and clean the room.

20 minutes passed.

He had grouped all the sports equipment according to their groups, arranged everything neatly, cleaned the dust and swept it. When he was about to start mopping the floor, it sounded a sound from somewhere, a little faint, it seemed to come from the backyard of the school.

Tenzo leaned the mop against the wall then walked towards the window that faced the back yard of the school. He moved the window slightly and looked down. He narrowed his eyes, trying to look clearer. A silver hair boy was held by his arms by 2 other boys. There was another kid standing right in front of the silver-haired, and he punched the silver hair kid right in the stomach.

Tenzo gasped! They are Kabuto and his gang...what are they doing???

"Don't be so pretentious, you new kid!" Said the boy named Kabuto while punching the silver hair again. The other two who held arms laughed mockingly. "Hit him again, Kabuto! Harder! Hahahaha..."

Oh no...that doesn't look good, thought Tenzo. He needs to do something...to help the silver hair boy....Then his gaze fell on the bucket filled with water and floor cleaning fluid.

Suddenly...something dropped from above...water! The water hit Kabuto and made him drenched. The other two children were shocked.

"Damn!..." cursed Kabuto.

"Water??? Where does the water come from? It's not raining, right?"

"Of course not, stupid! The water is from the upper room!"

"Upstairs room? Sports equipment warehouse??? That room is haunted, isn't it?"

"Shut up!" Kabuto said..."Ouch...my eyes sting...What is this water!"

Seeing an opportunity, the silver hair boy released his grip on his arm and paralyzed Kabuto and his friends until they ran away.

The silver hair boy looked up, his eyes met Tenzo's wide and frightened eyes.

The next day, after school, again and again Tenzo was punished because he still came late and forgot to do his homework. He was punished to clean his own classroom.

"Hey..." said a voice that startled Tenzo while he was sweeping the classroom. Tenzo turned towards the door. A boy with thick silver hair and a masked face stood in the doorway. That's the boy who was beaten up by Kabuto and his friends yesterday.

"Oh...hey..." Tenzo answered hesitantly.

"Not yet home?"

"Not yet...I have to clean my class before I go home..."

"Alone?"

"Umm... yeah..." answered Tenzo while shrugging his shoulders and smiling resignedly.

The silver hair boy nodded. "Let me help you, then..." he said as he entered the classroom.

"Oh...you don't need to... This is my punishment because I came to school late and didn't do my homework anymore..."

"It's alright...I don't mind..." The silver hair boy's eyes formed a curve, a sign that he smilled behind his mask, then turned around to clean the blackboard.

"Okay...thanks umm..."

"Kakashi..." said the silver hair boy.

"Oh...thanks kakashi. I am Tenzo..."

"I am the one who should thank you, Tenzo..."

"Huh???"

"For your help yesterday..."

"Oh... no problem..." answered Tenzo with a friendly smile.

Half an hour later the class was finished cleaning. Kakashi leading his bicycle and Tenzo beside him walked together out of the school gate.

"You said that you got this punishment because you came late and didn't do your home work?"

"Yeah..."

"Why is that?"

"I have to help my father work until late night, so I feel too tired and sleepy to do my homework. Beside...."

"Beside?"

"Umm...honestly I don't know how to do it...I don't understand some of my subject, so I don't know how to answer the questions...I don't know to whom I can ask for help..."

Kakashi noded "I see... Did your sensei give you homework today?"

"Yes, she did..."

"What subject?"

"Math, the most subject I don't understand..." Tenzo grinned while scratching his head which didn't itch.

"Maybe I can help you..."

"Are you serious???"

The silver hair boy knotted. "Do you know a place where we can sit comfortably so I can teach you?"

"Oh, I know a place. Come on!" Tenzo said while smiling broadly

10 minutes later they sat side by side on the grass under a large willow tree. Kakashi patiently explained the math lesson so that Tenzo could answer every question on his homework.

"Woww...unbelievable! I could finish this all. I can even understand this chapter now....You are so smart and you explained it to me so much clearer that Kushina sensei!" Tenzo laughed happily.

"Thanks for the complement..." Said kakashi with the curved eye smiled. "I'm 3 years older than you, so I learned about this 3 years earlier. That's why now you should call me senpai..."

Tenzo chukled "Alright, kakashi senpai. By the way....I've heard that you just came to Konoha village..." said Tenzo.

"Heard from who?"

"The girls at school....they sound so excited talking and gossiping about a cool silver haired new boy with mysterious aura because of his mask...."

Kakashi chukled, "Gossiping?"

"Yeah...They wonder whether the new boy has a girlfriend or not..."

"Really? Aren't you curious too?" Teased kakashi.

"No."

"Oh...that's disappointing me..." said Kakashi with a playful tone.

Both of them laughed.

"So, where are you from?"

"Capital city..."

"And why did you move here?"

"My father was transferred here, so I moved here too..."

"I see...where do you stay?"

"My father rents a small house there..." answered Kakashi.

Tenzo noded. "I live there....in a one and only sake bar in this village..." he said, pointing in the opposite direction to Kakashi's house. Then he realized that it was already late afternoon. He needs to go home and help his father prepare their mini bar. "I have to go home now...", Tenzo immediately put his books back into his backpack. "Thanks a lot..." he stood up, patting his pants.

"My pleasure..." Kakashi answered as he stood up.

"It's so nice to meet you, senpai" said Tenzo smiling.

Seeing Tenzo smiling sweetly with his long brunet hair blowing in the gentle breeze and the sun starting to set in the background, made Kakashi feel like time stopped for a moment and his face warmed. "Nice to meet you, Tenzo..."

"Bye! See you tomorrow!" Tenzo ran down the hill while waving his arms.

"See you...tomorrow..." answered Kakashi blushing.

The next morning, as usual, Tenzo ran as fast as he could. Again and again he woke up late, but this time he felt a little relieved because he had finished his homework, thanks to Kakashi's help. Suddenly a voice called him from behind.

"Hey Tenzooo!"

Tenzo stopped running and looked back. That's Kakashi on his bike.

"Oh... senpai..." Tenzo answered breathlessly.

"Wanna go to school together?" asked kakashi. Tenzo answered with wide eyes and smile and couple nods.

And there they are, riding kakashi's bicycle togather to school, tenzo sits in front of kakashi. He held the steering wheel while Kakashi did the pedalling. And Tenzo, for the first time, arrived at school before the bell rang. Kushina sensei was surprised to see Tenzo already sitting in class, plus this time he had done his homework and answered all the questions correctly. Kushina sensei shook her head, making sure this wasn't a dream, then she smiled sincerely at Tenzo..."Great job, Tenzo..." she said.

After school, again, kakashi and tenzo sat under the willow tree. Kakashi teaches Tenzo, so Tenzo can finish his homework.

"All Done!" Tenzo said while lifting his book happily.

Kakashi smiled at that. "You're pretty smart actually, it's easy to teach you. Why don't you understand when your sensei teaches you in class?"

Tenzo scratched his head embarrassedly "Because usually I feel sleepy in class, so I can't focus on listening to Kushina Sensei's explanation..."

"But you don't feel sleepy when I teach you?"

Tenzo shook his head.

"Am I that interesting and charming to you so yo don't sleepy?" Kakashi asked playfully.

Tenzo blushed then elbowed Kakashi. Then they laughed together.

"Senpai..."

"Hmm?"

"Do you have brothers or sisters?"

"No. I am the only kid..."

"So you just live with your father and mother?"

"Just with my father. My mother has passed away when I was five..."

"Oh...I'm sorry...."

"It's alright. How about you? Any siblings?"

Tenzo shook his head. "No...I just live with my father. Actually...he is not my biological father. He said that one day someone lived me in front of his house....without any clues or message...."

"Oh...I'm really sorry to hear that, Tenzo..."

"It's okay..."

"He must be so kind..."

"Hmm?"

"Your father. He must be so kind..."

Tenzo didn't answer immediately, he was silent for a moment, then he answered "Yeah....thanks God he raised me, gave me food, gave me a house to stay, and sent me to school. But sometimes I hope he can be warmer... He doesn't talk much, gets angry easily if I make any mistakes, and doesn't seem too interested when I tell you what happens at school or when I feel sad.... That's why I usually come here after school, lying down. here, looking at the sky.....alone...."

Silent....

"You can talk to me..." said Kakashi.

Tenzo turned to Kakashi beside him.

"If you feel sad or if there is anything you want to share, you can talk to me. I will listen to it..."

"Thanks, senpai..." Tenzo smiled. "Oh, actually there is another place that I usually come to when I feel sad. I will take you there tomorrow, after school, cause I have to go home now..."

"Sounds great!"

The next day, after school, by Kakashi's cycle, Tenzo took him to a beach. It's a beautiful beach, with white sand and waves that are not too big.

"This is so beautiful..." said Kakashi.

"Yeah....I love to close my eyes and listen to the sound of waves, the sound of wind...."

Kakashi followed Tenzo, closed his eyes, and listened to the sound of distant waves and the sound of the wind..."You're right, it sounds so...comfortable..." Kakashi then opened his eyes. "Hey, I can do something..." he stood up then took a long branch not far from them.

"What will you do?" Tenzo asked in surprise.

With that long branch, Kakashi drew something in the sand. Tenzo stood up and watched what Kakashi was drawing.

"That is you...and that is me..."

"Wow! Amazing! Wait a minute...are my eyes that wide?"

"Of course. Soooo wide and sooi beautiful..." answered Kakashi while laughing.

"Senpaiiii..." Tenzo pushed Kakashi until he almost fell. Kakashi got up and was about to push Tenzo back, but Tenzo was already running away. They were chasing each other while laughing.

Sitting together under the willow tree or on the beach became Kakashi and Tenzo's routine after school. Under the willow tree, Kakashi keeps helping Tenzo finishing his homework and explaining the subject that Tenzo doesn't understand yet. Sometimes Tenzo falls asleep on Kakashi's shoulder while Kakashi reads a book. On the beach, the two of them sat facing the sea while enjoying the sound of the waves and the wind, sometimes Kakashi would draw something on the sand and Tenzo would guess what the picture was. And surprisingly, Kakashi took off his maker when he was alone with Tenzo. Tenzo's eyes widened and his cheeks blushed when he first saw Kakashi's face.

One day under the willow tree, kakashi showed his sketchbook to tenzo.

"Wow.....these pictures are amazing!" said Tenzo while turning page by page of Kakashi's sketchbook. "You are so talented, senpai...

"Thanks..."

"Do you want to be an artist one day?"

"Hmm...I think so..."

"You will be the best one, senpai..." said Tenzo smiling.

"Yeah...I hope. What about you? What do you want to be, tenz?"

"Me? Umm.... I haven't thought about that, honestly. But I think.... I want to be a tree..."

"A tree? What do you mean?"

"I mean... whatever I be one day I want to be like a tree. Tree always stays, it always makes anyone who takes shelter under it or lives among its branches feel comfortable and protected..."

Kakashi looked at Tenzo. "That's a beautiful dream, tenz..." he smiled. "If you are really a tree, then I will spend my hole live laying under you..."

Tenzo's wide eyes blinked, "Umm...what does that mean, senpai?"

"It means...I want to stay with you..." Kakashi stroked Tenzo's long hair which fell down to below his shoulders with his fingers.

Tenzo blushed "Thanks, senpai...."

The next day at school, tenzo was walking down the corridor when he heard some girls are talking...

"Kakashi? You mean that cool silver hair boy with mask? Seriously?"

"Yeah...he is...

"Didn't he just move here? Now he's moving again?"

"That's what I heard..."

Tenzo stopped in his tracks..."Senpai? Move again?" He immediately turned around and ran upstairs, to Kakashi's class. There he didn't see Kakashi. He decided to ask Minato Sensei who was in class.

"Excuse me, Minato sensei..."

"Yes?"

"Is it right that Kakashi moved again? Didn't he come to school today?"

"Oh, that's right. His father was transferred back to the capital because a sudden incident occurred at his office. They returned to the capital city this morning..."

"Will he come back here again?"

"According to what his father said to me, it looks like they won't be coming back here again, because this time his father is again assigned to the head office in the capital. Why do you ask?"

Tenzo did not answer Minato sensei's question. He just bowed and ran out of the school, towards Kakashi's house. In the middle of the road, he saw a car passing by, there was Kakashi inside the car. Tenzo gasped. He immediately chased the car.

"Senpaaiii!" Tenzo shouted for Kakashi. But Kakashi couldn't hear the scream because they were quite far away. Meanwhile in the car, Kakashi keep thinking about Tenzo. He hopes that Tenzo will read the letter he left this morning to Tenzo's father, even though Tenzo's father doesn't seem like Kakashi.

Tenzo continued to run after the car which was starting to disappear from his sight, until he tripped and fell. With shortness of breath and tears already forming at the corners of his eyes, he whispered "Senpai...why do you leave me? Didn't you say that you would stay?"

My Sweetest Birtday

For many people, birthday is a sweet, happy and special day. But not for Kakashi.

For Kakashi, his birthday, September 15, is a sad, bitter, even disgusting day.

It's sad, because on his 10th birthday, the only person he really loved, his mother, left him forever, after two weeks of being hospitalized.

Bitter, because his father was never present on his birthday because he was always busy working and only sent gifts. Even on his 10th birthday when his mother died, his father was also absent, again and again because of business matters abroad.

And it's disgusting, because a few days ago, his father suddenly said he would hold a celebration for his birthday. Not an ordinary celebration at home, but a private party at a luxury restaurant. Business partners, government officials, celebrities, and other wealthy families will come to the party.

When Kakashi asked his father why he was holding a party like that, his father answered "This year you are 21 years old. It's time for you to prepare to be my successor, to lead our company. After all, you just graduated from college with perfect grades, let's just say the party is also to celebrate your graduation..."

So, here he is tonight, in a private ballroom inside a fancy fine dining restaurant at Konoha. Standing with a luxurious black tuxido beside his father. Invitations began to arrive. As his father said, they were the upper class of society in Konoha, business partners, officials, celebrities, and a number of rich families. Kakashi could see the faces of those who pretended to be sweet and friendly just to get connections and profits from the Hatake Corp (the largest construction company in Konoha).

"Go meet them!" Sakomo said.

"Not interested..." Kakashi answered lazily.

"Don't be childish, Kakashi. This is an important moment..." said Sakomo.

"Important for you, dad. Not for me..." answered Kakashi.

"This is important for our family!" Sakomo said in a firm tone. "There are some important people here. You have to start getting to know them and start building relationships. This is to maintain the stability of our family business in the future."

Kakashi began to feel emotions rumbling in his chest. The feelings of dislike for his father that he had been harboring for so long almost overflowed. If it weren't for his mother's last message before she died to look after his father, he would have vented all his emotions in front of his father.

"Beside..." apparently his father hadn't finished speaking. "Look...some important people came with their daughters. They look beautiful, right? And must be highly educated. Maybe you can choose one of them...dating one of them...or marrying one of them. That's also good for the future of our family business..."

Brakkk!

Kakashi placed his glass hard on the table next to him, startling Sakumo. "Excuse me, dad..." He left the room leaving his father and everyone at the party.

Kakashi rushed into the toilet. Both hands tightly gripped the edge of the sink. His breathing was irregular. His chest was tight. Maybe this was because all the emotions he had been holding back towards his father were on the verge of exploding. But he couldn't possibly express it in the party room.

"Are you alright, sir?"

Kakashi was surprised. He thought there was no one else in the toilet besides him. He turned to the person. A guy, wearing a white hat and turquoise jacket and navy jeans.

"Do you need some help, sir? Should I call someone for you? Or an ambulance?" Asked the guy.

Kakashi didn't answer, his breathing was still uneven.

"Sir?" Asked the guy again.

"No...I'm fine..." Kakashi answered breathlessly.

"Are you sure, sir? But you look unwell, is there anything I can do for you?" Asked the guy, sounds worried. "How about you sit down and catch your breath?"

Kakashi nodded.

"Let me help you..." said the guy. He helped Kakashi sit on the floor, leaned him against the wall, then straightened Kakashi's legs.

"I am sorry sir...but you need to open your mask and loosen your collar so you can breathe better..."

Kakashi did what the guy said, he opened his mask and opened two buttons on his shirt...

"Now breathe slowly, sir...

Kakashi breathed slower and calmer...

"Here, sir. It's new. Drink it..." the guy took a bottle of mineral water from his backpack, opened the lid, and gave it to Kakashi. Kakashi accepted and took a few sips.

"Better?" Asked the guy. Kakashi nodded. The guy smiled in relief.

"Thanks..."

"No problem, sir..."

"Just kakashi, please...I am not that old..."

"Oh...alright, kakashi..." the guy chuckled. "I am Tenzo..."

"Ten-zo..." kakashi repeats it. "Nice name..."

"Thanks. Kakashi isn't bad too..."

Kakashi laughed small.

"If you're already better, I think I can go now..."

"Wait! Tenzo...Could you...do me favor?"

"Sure. What is it?"

"I need to get out of here..."

"You want me to help you walk to the front door?"

"No. I mean I need to go out from here through the other door...not the front..."

Tenzo looks confused.

"I don't want anyone to see me go out of this place..." added Kakashi.

"Have you done something bad?" Tenzo looked hesitant.

"No...no...honestly I should go back to the party up the stairs. But I really don't want to go back there. If anyone sees me, I'm sure they will drug me back to the party... "

"Oh...umm...honestly I still don't understand, but yeah I think I can help you..."

"Really?"

Tenzo nodded. He then took off his hat. Immediately, her long brunet hair fell down to her shoulders. He smoothed his bangs. Kakashi didn't expect Tenzo to have long hair, bangs, and when combined with his dark and wide eyes, Tenzo looked...pretty.

"Wear this..." said Tenzo while giving him his hat.

"What?"

"You need to get out of here without anyone noticing you, right?"

Kakashi nodded.

"Then wear this hat. Take off your tux and wear my jacket. Also wear your back mask. We will go out from here through the back door at the kitchen. Come on!"

Kakashi did as Tenzo asked. Then Tenzo leads their way to the kitchen. There are several chefs and cooks who look busy with their jobs. Kakashi worried that one of them would notice him, but luckily they just focused on their jobs. Sure they have to focus, because there is a luxury party upstair.

Now both of them are outside the restaurant.

"Finally we are outside..." said Tenzo relieved.

Kakashi thinks that sooner or later his father will realize that his son isn't around and will order his guards to look for him.

"Umm...Tenzo..."

"Yes?"

"What will you do now?"

"What will I do now? Um...I will meet some friends.. Why?"

"Can I go with you?"

Tenzo looks shocked and confused.

"You want to go with me????"

"I'm sorry...I didn't mean to be rude or bother you...I just don't know where to go now..."

Tenzo sighed "Alright....you can go with me..." Then they walked side by side.

"So, Kakashi...."

"Hmm?"

"May I ask some questions?"

"Sure..."

"You said that you can't go back to the party in the restaurant? What party is it?"

"My birthday party."

"What??? Are you serious???

"I am..."

"But, how come you don't join your OWN birthday party????"

Kakashi sighed "I don't like being there...."

"But the people there will be confused because you are not there, right?"

"Yeah....my father would be the one who most confused there..."

"Unbelivable..." Tenzo shook his head.

"Don't worry, Tenzo. How about you? Why did you come to the restaurant?"

"Oh...I delivered some ingredients there. I work at Ichiraku Bakery. We sell breads and the ingredients too. I deliver some ingredients to the restaurant every Sunday. Today is not Sunday of course, but the restaurant said that they need more ingredients because there will be a special event there. Now I guest the special event is your birthday party..." Tenzo smiled.

"I see..." Kakashi smiled back.

A few moment later, they arrived at a bridge. Tenzo went down the small stairs that led under the bridge.

"Are your friends..here?" Kakashi followed Tenzo down the stairs.

"They are. They live here..." answered Tenzo

"But...this is under the bridge. I don't know there are people who live under the bridge..."

"Yeah...they actually don't want to live here too, but they have no choice. They don't have money to rent or buy a house. They don't even have enough money to eat or go to school..."

"Really?" Kakashi was truly shocked. All this time he did not know that there were people so poor in his city.

"But...they are good people...you will like them..." said Tenzo smiling.

They finally reached the bottom of the bridge. Kakashi was surprised. Apparently it was true, there were a number of people under the bridge. There were several children and adults. They were surrounding a fireplace made from used barrels to warm themselves. Suddenly a child turned and shouted "It's Tenzo. Tenzo is coming!"

Suddenly everyone turned around. Then the children ran over to Tenzo. Tenzo knelt down to greet them with a hug.

"We've been waiting for you for a long time, why did you come late?" Said a boy with yellow hair.

"I'm sorry Naruto....." said Tenzo while laughing and stroking the boy's yellow hair.

"Hey Tenzo...is that your boyfriend?" Asked a girl with pink hair shyly.

"What?" Tenzo turned to Kakashi. "No, Sakura..." Tenzo smiled. "He is my friend. His name is kakashi. Say hello to him, guys!"

"Good afternoon, sir!" Said the kids.

"Oh...good afternoon. Don't call me sir, just kakashi please..." said Kakashi.

"You are so handsome, kakashi..." said a girl with blonde long hair.

"Am I?" Kakashi blushed and rubbed his neck ackwardly. Tenzo chuckled.

"Stop teasing him, ino..." said a boy with black hair tied up.

"I'm not teasing him, Shikamaru!" Ino hit Shikamaru's head.

Tenzo laughed then said to Kakashi "Lets meet the others!"

"Tenzo...." said an old woman.

"Grandma Chio..." Said Tenzo.

"Finally, you come here with your boyfriend?"

"No grandma chio. He is my friend. His name is kakashi. We just met an hour ago..."

"Oh...nice to meet you, kakashi."

"Nice to meet you too, grandma chio" nodded.

"But you two look really good together. You know that there is love at first sight, right?" Said Jirayya pretending thinking.

"Stop teasing them, Jirayya. Their faces are already blushing like tomatoes..." said Grandma Chio. Jirayya and the others laughed.

Suddenly Tenzo felt someone squish his hand. "Umm...do you bring some food, Tenzo? We are hungry...." Asked a fat boy.

"Oh, of course Choji..." Tenzo smiled as he stroked the fat boy's brown hair, then took something from his backpack. A box. Tenzo opened the box and immediately the fragrant smell of cake spread. Kakashi was surprised, that smell, that sweet smell recalled a memory in his mind.

"Smells so goooood!" Said the kids.

Tenzo chukled then distributed the dorayaki to everyone. "Eat while it's still warm..."

Each of them took the dorayaki happily and ate it with gusto. Tenzo smiled happily.

After everyone got dorayaki, Tenzo invited Kakashi to sit in a corner not far from the fireplace.

"I'm sorry kakashi, they always tease me about boyfriend things every time I come here..."

"You don't have boyfriend?"

"No..."

"Then I'm honoured..."

"What?" Tenzo blushed.

"Just kidding..." Kakashi chukled.

"There are still two dorayaki. The owner of Ichiraku let me practice making cakes or bread after my work is finished. Take one!" Tenzo handed his dorayaki box to Kakashi.

"Um...I don't like sweets..."

"It's not too sweet. Eat it, while it's still warm..." said Tenzo smiling.

Kakashi took one dorayaki, looked at it for a moment, then bit into it slowly. Suddenly his chest felt tight. The memories came back to his mind. The taste of the dorayaki was exactly the same as what his mother had made. It was Kakashi's fifth birthday. He fell from the bicycle. His knees and elbows were injured. Kakashi cried. His mother immediately came and hugged him, then treated his wound. After that, his mother made dorayaki for him so that he wouldn't be sad anymore.

"Do you know, Kakashi? The sweet taste can cure the sadness we are feeling..." said Tenzo while looking at the Dorayaki he was holding and then eating it.

Exactly. That sentence was also what his mother said at that time. So Kakashi was no longer able to contain his feelings. A tear started to fall.

"Kakashi...you cry? Is the dorayaki not delicious? Did I say something wrong?"

Kakashi shook his head. Another tear dripped again

"It's alright..." Kakashi smiled.

They were silent for a moment.

"She must be a wonderful mom..." said Tenzo

"She is..." answered kakashi.

"You're so lucky, kakashi...."

Remembering how stressed he had been living with his father, Kakashi answered "I don't think so..."

"Yes you are. I never knew my mom...and my dad. Someone just put me in front of an orphanage shortly after I was born. I grew up there along with other orphans. Until last year I decided to got out of the orphanage and started living independently. Likewise with the children here, Some of them don't have mothers, some of them don't have fathers, and some others don't have both. Sometimes they don't eat because they have no money. They have never been to school too. I wish I had a lot of money, so I could help them more..."

Tenzo's gaze wandered, while Kakashi looked at Tenzo.

Then the kids approached Tenzo and Kakashi. "Tenzo, we've finished eating. Now is bedtime story!" said the yellow-haired child.

"Hmmm...how about we ask our guess to tell a bed time story for us tonight?" Tenzo said while smiling at Kakashi.

"What??? Me???"

"Yeah...that's a good idea!" Said the kids.

"Wait wait...I can't....I don't have any story...."

"Said the magic word..." Tenzo whispered to the kids.

"Pleaaaaaseeeee..." said the kids while clasping their hands together.

Tenzo chuckled.

Kakasho sighed...."Alright....alright...let me think a story first..."

The children cheered happily. They immediately sat close together, some also sat on Tenzo and Kakashi's laps.

Kakashi tried hard to remember any bed time stories his mother had told him before, then started telling the children. They liked it so much, they even clapped happily when the hero in Kakashi's story succeeded in defeating the dragon monster, and saved a beautiful princess and the entire village.

Kakashi breathed a sigh of relief after finishing his story. Tenzo smiled.

"What a wonderful bedtime story! Now, how about we sing a birthday song to Kakashi as a thank you? because today is his birthday.." Tenzo said to the kids.

The children nodded in agreement. Tenzo and the kids started singing "Happy birthday to you..." while clapping their hands. Grandma Chio, Jirayya, and the others also sang.

Kakashi was so surprised. He didn't expect that today his birthday would be celebrated in that way. He felt...so happy.

After finishing the song, Tenzo hugged and kissed each child while saying good night and have a sweet dream. Then Tenzo and Kakashi returned to the bridge.

"I will go home now. I live in an apartment over there..." said Tenzo.

Kakashi nodded. "I'll go home to, I live there near the restaurant.."

"I see. Oh...I almost forgot...here's your tux..." said Tenzo while taking Kakashi's tuxido from his backpack.

"Oh...you're right...here your hat and jacket..." Kakashi took off his hat and jacket then returned them to Tenzo. "Thanks a lot for tonight, Tenzo...I'm really sorry for bothering you..."

"No, it's fine. I feel so happy tonight..."

"Me too...this is the sweetest birthday party I've ever had..."

"Really? Glad to hear that. Happy birthday kakashi..." Tenzo smiled softly.

Kakashi felt his chicks get warmed and blushed. He cleared his throat "Thanks..."

"Okay...See you later, Kakashi!" Tenzo turned and walked home.

"See you...soon, Tenzo." Kakashi also turned around and walked towards his house. He didn't know for sure whether the party at the restaurant was over or not, but he was sure that his father would be furious. But, it doesn't matter. Surely his father's anger would subside if Kakashi said that he was ready to become his father's successor in running their big company. Because now, he already has a goal. Just like what Tenzo said earlier, he is lucky because he has a lot of money, and with that lot of money generated by his company he will help many poor people and orphans, together....with Tenzo.

Birthday Gift

9 pm, inside his apartment, tenzo sit on his knees on the floor. In front of him, on a table, there was a small cake, a birthday cake, with one small candle on top of it.

Tenzo took a breath, then exhaled slowly. He took a lighter, next to the cake, then lit the candle. Tenzo put the lighter back, then clasped his hands together and closed his eyes.

"Dear God, today is my 13th birthday. I've never celebrated my birthdays before, neither when aunt Tsunade was still alive nor after she passed away. So this is my first time..." Tenzo silend for a moment, then continuoud it.." People say to make a wish before blowing the candle, so the wish will come true. I don't know if it's true or not...but...I wish...I wish I can have a friend. I have mochi, but she is a cat. I mean a human friend...maybe a close one...so I won't feel lonely anymore...Amen..." Then he blew the candle.

Shortly after the candle flame went out, there were knock knock at the door. Tenzo was a little surprised. He opened his eyes and looked at the clock on the wall. Who comes at this time of night? he thought.

Tenzo went towards the door and opened it. It turns out there was no one. But there was something on the floor. A box. Not big. Wrapped neatly, with navy blue paper and a red ribbon on top and a card.

A package? A gift? Is this for me? Of whom? But....I asked a friend... A human friend...how could a human be wrapped in a small box like this?

Tenzo took the box, then read the writing on the card. Oh... apparently the box wasn't for him. The box was intended for the room next to his room. Tenzo didn't know who lived next door to his room. Tenzo had never seen or met the people who lived there, even though their rooms were next to each other. But, whoever it is, Tenzo still has to hand over the box.

So Tenzo stepped up and knocked on the door of the next room. No answer. Tenzo knocked once again. And the door opened. There was a teenage boy, his body was taller than Tenzo, with thick silver hair that covered his left eye and a mask that covered half of his face. So only his right eye is visible. Her appearance is quite mysterious, thought Tenzo.

"Yes?" The teenage boy asked in a flat intonation.

"Um...I'm sorry for bothering you late night...but I guess this box belongs to you...someone put it by mistake in front of my room..." said Tenzo with a shy smile.

"Thank you..." the teenage boy answered briefly.

Tenzo handed over the box and the teenage boy accepted it.

"Oh...did your finger hurt?" Tenzo asked when he saw the boy's bleeding thumb and index finger.

"Oh... just a small wound... pricked by a cactus thorn..."

"Cactus thorns?"

"Well... I don't know why my cactus, which was green, turned brown. I tried to check it and accidentally got pricked by its thorns..."

"Oh...I see. May I see the cactus? I quite like plans so I know a little bit about cactus. Maybe I can help you..." said Tenzo.

The teenage boy thought for a moment..."Fine, come in..." he answered invitingly. Tenzo goes inside. He glanced at the teenage boy's apartment. There's not that much stuff in it. But everything is neatly arranged.

"Over here..." said the teenage boy. He walked towards the TV table. Tenzo took off his sandals then followed him. Right next to the TV there is a cactus in a pot.

"This is the cactus..." said the teenage boy. Tenzo stepped closer and looked at the cactus. Some of the colors are still green, but others are brown. Tenzo then looked around. The TV table is far from the window.

"Do you always put this cactus here?"

"Yes..."

"How many times did you water it?"

"Everyday of course...don't plants need water?"

Tenzo smiled. "I am sure that your cactus is getting too much water and not enough sunlight..."

"What?" Even though most of his face was covered, Tenzo could see that the teenage boy looked surprised and confused.

"The cactus doesn't need to be watered every day, because basically it is a plant that lives in barren areas, and because of that it also needs sunlight. The brown part shows that it is almost rotting..."

"Oh...no...is there anything we can do to safe it?:

"I think we can still keep it safe..." said Tenzo, smiling kindly. "Do you have paper and knife?"

"Paper and knife? I do. Wait...I'll take them..."

After receiving the paper and knife, Tenzo then took the cactus out of the pot by slowly wrapping the paper around it. Then he checked the stem and roots, then cut the black roots with a knife.

After that, Tenzo placed the cactus near the window. "This cactus must be dried in the sun to dry for several days. Once it is completely dry, plant it back in the pot. Just put the pot here so it gets light, and water it only once a week."

The teenage boy was truly impressed with what Tenzo did to save his cactus. "Thank you..." he said.

"No problem..." answered Tenzo with a friendly smile. Suddenly, the teenage boy with thick silver hair and a mask felt his face warm.

"Umm...are you okay?" Tenzo asked.

"Hmm...?"

"Your face...althouugh it's masked...I think it turns a little bit red..."

"What??? Really???" The teenage boy clearing his throat "I am fine.."

"Are your fingers still hurt?"

"Um...yeah...a little..."

"Do you have any medicine and bandage? Your wound could become infected if it is not cleaned and treated immediately..."

"Um...I don't have any of that..."

"I have some...what if you come to my room?"

"Umm...alright..."

A few moments later, the silver-haired teenage boy was sitting in Tenzo's TV room. Tenzo came out of the bathroom carrying a medicine box. He then sat next to the teenager.

"May I?" Tenzo asked.

The silver-haired teenager stretched out his right hand reluctantly. He watched how Tenzo carefully cleaned and treated the wounds on his fingers. And when Tenzo touched his hand, he felt....comfortable.

"Well, it's done..." said Tenzo.

"Thank you..."

"No problem..." answered Tenzo with a friendly smile.

"Um...is that a birthday cake?"

"Oh...yes it is..." Tenzo laughed awkwardly. He just remembered that the birthday cake and candle were still on the table.

"Are you...celebrating a birthday?"

"I am...."

"Whose birthday?"

Tenzo laughed awkwardly again. "Mine...."

"Alone?"

"Um...not really...with mochi actually..."

"Mochi?"

My cat..." said Tenzo while pointing to the doormat in front of his room, a fat calico cat was sleeping on it.

"Oh...I see..." said the teenage boy, smiling behind his mask.

"Do you want some cake? How about we taste the birthday cake?" Tenzo asked.

"Okay..."

Tenzo went to the kitchen, took two small plates and two forks, then cut the cake into two pieces, put one piece of each on a plate and gave one of them to the teenager.

"Thanks..." answered the teenager while receiving the plate. He then took off his mask and started eating the cake. For a moment, Tenzo was amazed to see the teenager's face. It turns out his face is...handsome. Tenzo felt his cheeks warm.

"Something wrong? I think your face is red now?" said the teenager.

Tenzo became embarrassed.

"Oh...Um...nothing. How is the cake?" asked Tenzo.

"Actually, I don't really like sweets, but this cake is delicious..."

"Glad you like it...Umm...I didn't see anyone else in your apartment earlier, do you live alone?"

"I do... I don't see anyone else besides that cat here? Do you live alone too?

"Yeah... Previously I lived in another apartment with my aunt. Two months ago she died and after that I moved here because the rent here is cheaper..."

"Oh...I'm sorry..."

"It's okay... How about you? Why do you live alone?"

"Actually, I'm not from here. I live with my father in another city. I moved here because... there are a lot of sad memories there... I wanted a change of scenery..."

Tenzo was surprised. Who else, now? he thought. He also opened the door.

"Hi again! I am sorry for bothering you...but it's funny...you've helped me a lot and we've talked to each other...but I haven't even told you my name, and I don't know yours. My name is Kakashi..."

Tenzo chuckled. "I also just realized... my name is Tenzo..."

"Well Tenzo...happy birthday..."

"Oh...thanks..." Tenzo smiled and blushed.

"And this is for you...for my thanks and birthday gift..." Kakashi gave Tenzo a small bell. "This is from the box earlier. Two bells belonged to my mentor, Minato Sensei. It seems he wrote the room number wrong so the box was placed in front of your room. Because there are 2 bells, I'll give one to you. I hope you like it." Kakashi said smiling behind his mask.

"Oh...this is very nice. Thank you so much, kakashi."

That day was the first time Tenzo celebrated his birthday. The first time he got a gift. And the gift is very special. A friend, not just a friend, but the closest one.

Time for rush hour in Konoha. The traffic is so heavy. Most people are on their way to home by car after work. Including kakashi. But before going home, he had to stop by the Konoha Swimming Center first to pick up Naruto.

While listening to songs on the radio and queuing in traffic, his mind drifted to his conversation with Naruto last night...

"I don't want to learn to swim!" Naruto said.

"You have to..." answered Kakashi.

"I don't like water, I don't like swimming, what if I drown when I'm in the pool..."

"That's why you have to learn swimming, so you will not drown...

"Still...I don't want to!"

Kakashi sighed heavily, he walked closer to Naruto, then knelt down and leveled his gaze with Naruto.

Meanwhile, at the Konoha swimming center...

"Hi there! I guess you are....Naruto, aren't you?" Asked Tenzo while checking the attendance list of his students.

Naruto said nothing.

"I am Tenzo. Your swimming coach. Nice to see you, Naruto." Tenzo said with a smile.

Naruto still didn't respond.

"So Naruto, what if you join the others inside the pool to start our first lesson today?"

Naruto shook his head. "I don't want to..."

"Why is that?"

"I don't like water...I don't like swimming!"

"Then why are you here?"

"My father forced me...even though I said I didn't want to swim!"

Tenzo smiled. "What if you try first? Put both of your legs inside the water so you can feel it..."

"No!" Naruto answered quickly.

"Alright then, I will see the others first and give them some practice. Then I will be back here to see you. Stay here, okay?" Tenzo blinked one eye at Naruto.

For Tenzo, who has been a swimming coach for children for years, a case like Naruto's is not the first for him. Parents want their children to be able to swim but their children don't want to at all. So Tenzo already knows how to deal with it. But first, he had to meet the other students first to give them today's training, then he would back to Naruto.

One hour passed.

"Alright kids, today's training is enough. You have done very well. Now you can change clothes and go back to your homes. I'll see you next week. Bye!" Tenzo said kindly.

All the children immediately went to the bathroom to clean themselves and change clothes.

Meanwhile Tenzo walked closer to Naruto.

"So Naruto...what if we swim together? You and me?"

"No!"

"It will be super fun. And I can guarantee you will like it so much. Trust me!" Tenzo stretched out his right hand.

Naruto was silent for a moment. "But...I am affraid...what if I drown?"

"I will protect you, so you won't drown. You will be totally safe. I promise!"

Finally, with hesitation, Naruto took Tenzo's hand. Tenzo guided him towards the pool.

"Alright Naruto, I will hug you. And we will go inside the pool together.."

Tenzo hugged Naruto and they slowly went down the stairs and into the pool.

"Well...we are inside the pool now..." said Tenzo with a smile. "How do you feel, now?"

Naruto tightened his embrace on Tenzo.

"Listen to me, Naruto... Water is one of the best thing God ever created for us. Water is a friend. It will not harm you, moreover it will calm you and protect you, as long as you are not panic and trust it completely . Water can also make you feel happy, so that you don't want to be separated from it."

"Really?" Naruto asked.

"You want to prove it?"

Naruto nodded.

"Okay, hold my back!" Naruto moved behind Tenzo and hugged his back. "Are you ready?"

"Mhm..." replied Naruto nodding.

Tenzo put on his swimming goggles. "Let's have some fun!" Immediately, Tenzo stomped one of his feet on the pool wall and immediately launched himself at full speed across the pool.

"Wooooooowwwww!!!" Naruto shouted.

Tenzo continued to slide across the pool. Naruto's face splashed with water and he laughed happily.

After several trips back and forth across the pool, tenzo stopped at the edge.

"How was that?" Tenzo asked while taking off his swimming goggles.

"So fuuuuun! I want it more!" Naruto answered happily.

Tenzo laughed. "We will do that again next week. Now it's time for you to clean yourself and change your cloth."

"Okay!" Naruto ran into the bathroom.

Tenzo watched Naruto with relief. He got out of the pool, took off his swim cap, his shoulder-length brunet hair flowed down. He then turned around and was surprised, because there was a man with thick silver hair that covered his left eye and a mask standing near the door.

"Oh, I'm sorry sir, I didn't realize you were there. Can I help you? The pool is already closed now. You can come back here tomorrow morning.."

Kakashi didn't answer right away, he was still fascinated.

"Sir?"

"Oh...I... I am not here to swim, I want to pick up my son..." answered kakashi.

"Oh, you are Naruto's father?"

Kakashi nodded.

"He is cleaning him himself and changing his cloth now.."

"Papaaa!" Naruto shouted as he ran towards Kakashi.

"Hey champ!" Kakashi carried him. "How was the swimming practice?"

"Super fuuun! I like it. Tenzo take me glides fast. Really exciting. I want to do it more and more!"

Kakashi laughed. "I saw that. That's super cool, right?" Kakashi said while stroking Naruto's yellow hair. "Thank you very much for making Naruto happy and enjoy the swimming.."

"No problem, sir. I'm happy too..."

"Um...Tenzo, right?

"I am, sir..." said Tenzo while extending his right hand.

"Just Kakashi, please." Kakashi said shaking Tenzo's hand.

"Alright, Kakashi..." Tenzo smiled.

"So...we meet again next week?"

"Next week." Tenzo nodded.

"Alright. Naruto say thanks to Tenzo."

"Thanks, Tenzo!"

"You're welcome, Naruto."

"Okay, see you next week, Tenzo. Very nice to meet you.."

"Nice to meet you too, Kakashi, Naruto..." said Tenzo waving his hand.

Kakashi carried Naruto and walked to the car.

"Pap...why your face red?"

"What? Really?"

"Yes...red...like tomatoes..."

A month has passed and there have been four swimming training sessions.

Since that first practice, swimming courses on Friday afternoons have become Naruto's most eagerly awaited activity. Naruto really liked being in the water. And thanks to Tenzo's patience and fun way of teaching, naruto has finally mastered freestyle.

How about kakashi?

Well, since that first meeting, Kakashi has always been waiting for Friday afternoons too. It's true that kakashi has never found someone like tenzo before. Kakashi is very famous in his office because of both his capability and his good look. Everyone knows that many women in his office, co-workers and his boss have a crush on him. They always tried to get his attention, wore flashy make-up, some of them even openly seduced and asked Kakashi out on a date. Kakashi really doesn't want to care about them. In fact, it actually bothered him.

Before Tenzo had time to answer, Naruto suddenly ran from behind Kakashi and hugged him until Kakashi was pushed towards Tenzo. Unprepared, Kakashi spontaneously hugged Tenzo and the three of them fell into the pool.

"Naruto! You make all of us wet now.."

"I'm sorry pap... I can't wait to tell you that I can do freestyle now..." said Naruto laughing.

Tenzo chuckled.

"I'm so sorry, Tenzo..." said Kakashi.

"It's alright, kakashi.."

"Now how can we go home with wet clothes like this?" Kakashi asked Naruto.

"Um...I can lend you some clean dry clothes. I live nearby, if you don't mind, you can stop by..."

Tenzo rented a room in a small apartment located behind the Konoha swimming center. The rooms are quite spacious. There is 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom, a living room which also functions as a TV room, and a small kitchen in the corner.

"Please come in..." said Tenzo. "Please wait here for a moment. I will get clothes for you...". A few moments later Tenzo appeared from his room carrying clothes for Kakashi and Naruto. "This is my nephew's clothes. He is the same age as Naruto. Sometimes he and my sister stay here.

Tenzo then leads kakashi and naruto to the bathroom and turn on the hot water.

"Please..." said Tenzo kindly.

While Kakashi and Naruto showered, Tenzo made some rice balls and 3 cups hot chocolate for the three of them.

After taking a bath with hot water, drying them, and wearing clothes from Tenzo, Kakashi and Naruto walked to the living room. Tenzo had finished making rice balls and hot chocolate, then placed them on the table. For a moment, Tenzo was surprised to see Kakashi's face without a mask, and got flushed. He quickly shook his head.

"I made rice balls and hot chocolate for us. Please sit down..." said Tenzo kindly.

Naruto immediately ran happily and took a riceball and ate it.

"Naruto!" Kakashi scolded.

Tenzo chuckled. "You must be very hungry, Naruto.."

"We are truly sorry for causing you trouble..." said Kakashi.

"It's fine," said Tenzo smiling.

Naruto sat on Tenzo's lap while eating his riceball. Kakashi sat next to Tenzo.

"Do you like it?" Tenzo asked Naruto.

"Yes, it's very delicious!" Naruto answered while chewing. Several grains of rice stuck around his mouth. Tenzo smiled then took a tissue and cleaned Naruto's mouth. Kakashi watched them, he smiled unconsciously.

"So...do you live here...alone?" asked kakashi.

"I do..." replied Tenzo.

"How long have you been a swimming coach?"

"Three years..."

"Oh I see...is that your dream?"

Tenzo smiled. "Actually I've been dreaming of becoming a swimm athlete since I was a kid. I dreamed of getting the olympic gold medal. So I joined a swimming club, practiced hard, won some local competitions. But unfortunately when they opened the registration for selection athlete for the olympic, I got injured. The doctors said that it was impossible for me to join the olympic. So here I am, becoming a swimming teacher for kids, hopefully one day one of them can win the gold medal, like my dream..."

Silent...

"Oh I'm sorry...I talked to much..." said Tenzo.

"No...no...it's fine..."

"How about you Kakashi? What do you do?"

"Oh, I work at a book publisher, as the marketer..."

"Really? That's great!"

"It's not that great..."

"What kind of books do you publish?"

"Many kinds of novels. And recently we started to publish children's books too..."

"That's fantastic...really..."

Kakashi blushed. He rubs his behind neck ackwardly because of the Tenzo complement.

Suddenly there was a snoring sound. Apparently after being full from eating rice balls and drinking hot chocolate made by Tenzo, Naruto fell asleep on Tenzo's lap.

Tenzo smiled. "Swimming makes us hungry and sleepy easily..."

"Yeah..." Kakashi watched Tenzo hugging Naruto who was sleeping in his lap. The sight soothed his heart.

"He must look like his mother..." said Tenzo.

"Hmm?"

"I mean Naruto. He doesn't look like you?"

"Oh...honestly...Naruto is not my own son..."

"What????"

"He is my teacher's son. My teacher and his wife died in a car accident when Naruto was only six months.. Both of them don't have any family here, so I decided to take care and raise Naruto. It's not easy actually.. .rising Naruto by myself. Sometimes it becomes so hard because I haven't had any kids before. But I will keep rising him, because my teacher has helped me a lot when I was a kid..."

Silent...

"Naruto must be so lucky...having you. You are a good papa..." Tenzo smiled.

"Thanks..." Kakashi also smiled. "Oh...I think we have to go home now..." Kakashi looked at his watch.

"Oh...yes...that's right...I will help to bring Naruto to your car...

"Thanks a lot, Tenzo...for everything..."

"My pleasure..." Tenzo smiled.

Next Friday, as usual they meet again at the swimming center.

"Naruto, would you go to our car first? I need to talk with Tenzo for a moment..." Kakashi whispered to Naruto.

"Alright, Papa!" Naruto go tho their car.

Tenzo looks confused.

Kakashi clears his throat.

"Um...Tenzo...I was wondering...if you...um...if you have free time tomorrow night..."

"Tomorrow night? I think I do..."

"Great! Um...I mean...would you...would you go out with me...tomorrow night?"

"With you?"

"Umm yes...with me...just the two of us..." Kakashi became more nervous.

Tenzo chuckled. "Is it...a date?" he asked.

Kakashi clears his throat again.." Yes...umm...if you don't mind..."

"I'd love to..." answered Tenzo.

"What? Great! So...umm...I will pick you up tomorrow....at 7?

"I will wait for you..." Tenzo smiled softly.

Tomorrow night.

6.30pm

Kakashi arrives at his father's house.

"Grandpaaa!!!" Naruto said happily.

"Hey champ!" Sakumo immediately picked up and kissed Naruto on his cheek. "Go inside. Pakkun and the others are waiting to play with you.."

"Alright..." replied Naruto who immediately ran into his grandfather's house.

"Thanks for your help, dad..." said Kakashi while handing a bag containing Naruto's clothes and toys to his father.

"No problem, son. So...who is the lucky lady?"

"He, actually"

"Oh...I see. So who is this charming prince?"

"He is Naruto's swimming teacher. I will tell you more later. I have to pick him up now.."

"Alright, Good Luck, son! Can't wait to see him..." said Sakomo smiling.

The doorbell of Tenzo's apartment rang.

Tenzo looked at his wall clock which showed 7 o'clock. Once again he checked his appearance in the mirror, smoothing her bangs. After confirming everything, he immediately ran to open the door.

"Hi!" Said Tenzo.

Kakashi was silent for a moment, fascinated by Tenzo's appearance. Unlike usual, this time he tied his hair in a ponytail, covered his forehead with bangs, wore a soft blue short-sleeved t-shirt with a picture of a cat, and jeans.

"Kakashi?"

"Oh...sorry...Hi Tenzo! Um...I bought this for you..." said Kakashi while handing him a small pot containing pink lilies.

"Oh this is so beautiful!"

"The seller said that it was easy to maintain, so I bought it..." said Kakashi while rubbing his neck.

"Thank you so much. I will really take care of it..." said Tenzo smiling.

"Umm...so...we go now?" Kakashi asked.

Half an hour later Kakashi and Tenzo arrived at Konoha Square. There were lots of people there, because there was a summer festival going on. Many stands sell various foods, drinks, accessories, and some also offer various games with attractive prizes. Songs are played to further enliven the atmosphere.

Kakashi thought about whether he would take Tenzo's hand, whether it would be polite, whether Tenzo would like it, but there were so many people here that by holding Tenzo's hand wouldn't get them separated in the crowd. So yes, Kakashi dared to take the hand beside him. But...it feels strange...why does Tenzo's hand feel like it's a bit wrinkled?

"Umm...kakashi?" Called Tenzo...from behind him.

Kakashi was shocked! Apparently Tenzo was behind him, while the one beside him, the one he was holding his hand with, was an old woman.

"Oh...I'm so sorry, mam..." Kakashi immediately let go of her hand and bowed his head in apology.

The old woman chuckled "It's alright, young man..."

Kakashi's face turned red with embarrassment. Thankfully part of his face was covered by a mask.

Tenzo held back his laughter seeing that incident. He then stepped closer to Kakashi and took his hand. "Let's have some food..." said Tenzo smiling.

Then they bought takoyaki and then looked for a place to sit to enjoy the takoyaki. Because he was hungry and nervous, Kakashi ate his takoyaki with gusto. Tenzo paid attention to Kakashi.

"Kakashi?"

"Hmm?"

"There's some sauce around your lips..." said Tenzo while wiping around Kakashi's lips with his thumb.

"Oh really?" Kakashi's face turned red.

"May I know...why do you always wear a mask?"

"Oh...it's because I often got flu when I was a kid, so I often wear a mask. It makes me more comfortable wearing a mask even I don't have a flu. And sometimes it's very usefull to cover my face at some situations, especially when I'm shy..."

"I see..." Tenzo chuckled.

They finished their takoyaki, then bought two scoops of ice cream, then continued walking around the festival. Right in the middle of the square, apparently there was a competition going on. Pair dancing competition. Anyone can join. And the winner will get a prize of a very big teddy bear.

"Wow...that teddy bear is so big and cute!" Tenzo said. Kakashi looked at Tenzo.

"You like it? How about we join the competition?"

"What? We? I can't dance, Kakashi..."

"It's alright. Just trying. Maybe we will lucky and get that big bear.."

"I really can't dance. I might step on your feet or embarrass both of us..."

"It'll be fine, Tenzo. Just feel the music and trust me. Will you?" Kakashi smiled.

"Umm...alright...."

Kakashi took Tenzo's hand. They walked closer to the stage, along with other couples.

"Okeyyy...looks like we already have some couples here. So we will start the dance competition tonight! Music please!"

Then the song "Thinking Out Loud" by Ed Sheeran played.

Kakashi put Tenzo's right hand on his shoulder, then grabbed Tenzo's left hand and wrapped his own right hand around Tenzo's waist.

Tenzo stepped nervously and stepped on Kakashi's foot.

"Relax, Tenzo...just feel the music..." whispered Kakashi in Tenzo's ear. "We can do this...together..." he added.

In the begining, Kakashi lead their move, but after sometimes Tenzo begin to feel the music and enjoy the move with Kakashi. Kakashi then removed his left hand from Tenzo's waist and made Tenzo spin beautifully.

I'll just keep on making the same mistakes

Kakashi put both hands on Tenzo's waist then lifted him up and turned around then lowered him back down.

That maybe we found love right where we are

Kakashi made Tenzo turn around once again, pulled him gently, then held Tenzo in his arms. Kakashi could smell the sweet scent of Tenzo's hair. And Tenzo hugged him back too.

"Alright ladies and gentlemen....Time to vote now. We will decide the winner by your claps. The couple with the most claps will win and get that big teddy bear..." said the host.

And Kakashi and Tenzo managed to get the most applause from the audience. They both laughed happily at getting the big teddy bear.

"I never thought we would win this big teddy bear..." said Tenzo happily. He and Kakashi (and also the teddy bear) sat on one of the benches while enjoying cold juice.

"Me too..." said Kakashi smiling.

Songs are still played to enliven the festival. And this time is a song by Bruno Mars...

This was one of Kakashi's favorite songs, and he sang it without realizing it

"Kakashi...you singing?" Tenzo chuckled.

"Oh....." Kakashi realized and laughed ackwardly. "Tenzo...I think....I want to marry you..."

Tenzo choked.

"Are you okay?" Kakashi asked.

They're silent...

But the song is still played.

"Yeah..." said Tenzo.

"Yeah?" Kakashi asked.

Kakashi blushed. He moves forward to Tenzo, then gently held Tenzo's jaw, feeling the soft skin under the pads of his fingers. They locked eyes and Kakashi took it as a sign to continue. Their lips barely touched, a fleeting moment that they could never forget. They really didn't want this to end.

So this is one of milion ideas about kakayama that came to my mind when i heard some great old balad songs from some great singers at the swimming pool couple days ago 😅

I Wanna Grow Old With You

The wall clock at Senju Coffee shows 10 pm. All the visitors have gone home and some of the lights have been turned off. Tenzo wiped 4 tables and 8 chairs in the simple cafe room. Then he went to the counter, arranged the glasses, plates, spoons and so on. After making sure everything was clean and neatly arranged, Tenzo went into the kitchen behind the counter to wash up.

Klang klong!

The bell above the front door rang, signaling the cafe door to be opened and then closed again. Someone came in, walked towards the opposite door, the balcony door and opened it. Even though Tenzo had changed the writing at the front door to "closed", he didn't mind someone coming, because he knew exactly who that someone was. Someone who always comes after the cafe closes.

Tenzo turned off the sink faucet, wiped his hands on his apron, took two white cups, then started making cappuccino without sugar, and decorated the surface with milk hearts.

"Another tough day, senpai?" Tenzo brought two cups of cappuccino to the balcony and gave one of them to Kakashi, then sat beside him.

"Mhm..." Kakashi mumbled a "yes" while accepting the cup. He looked at the picture of the heart on the surface of his cappuccino and smiled. "This heart image is so sweet, I can't bear to drink it..."

Tenzo chukled... "I can make you a million more.."

Kakashi took off his mask and sipped the cappuccino slowly. "Delicious...as usual..." he thought. He then crossed his legs and sat back. Both hands were still holding the cup which he placed on his thigh. His eyes looked forward.

Senju Coffee is located on one of the slopes surrounding Konoha. The higher surface allows the two of them to enjoy the night view of Konoha from a height.

Tenzo studied his lover's face "What case today?" He asked.

"Bank robbery..." answered Kakashi.

"Oh...have the robbers been caught?"

"Mhm..." Kakashi nodded.

"I see..." answered Tenzo.

Silence.

Kakashi went back to sipping his cappuccino..

"So?" Tenzo asked, feeling that something was on Kakashi's mind.

"Hm...?" Kakashi turned to Tenzo.

"Is there something you're thinking about, senpai?" Tenzo asked gently.

"Oh... that..." Kakashi was silent for a moment, then sighed and said "After catching the bank robber with me, Asuma got a call from the hospital. Kurenai was hospitalized after being stabbed by an unknown person..."

Tenzo gasped "Oh no...."

"Fortunately, the wound wasn't serious. Thank God she can do karate, so she managed to dodge the attack a little..." said Kakashi.

"How is she now?"

"I stopped by the hospital earlier, before coming here. She was sleeping. Asuma was waiting beside her..." answered Kakashi. "The police suspect that the person who attacked Kurenai was an order from one of the officials suspected of being involved in corruption and murder... Asuma led the team investigating the case..." he added.

Kakashi looked down, looking at the cup he was holding. The heart image on the surface of the coffee has faded, blending in with the cappuccino. "Tenzo..."

"Hm...?"

"Honestly...what happened to Kurenai bothered me..."

"Why?"

Kakashi was silent, then said..."When my father was still active as a police officer, he also often handled big cases. Once my mother was pushed by someone and almost hit by a car. That was a form of threat to my father. Last year, Rin almost died while she was sleeping in her house due to a fire that was allegedly set by someone. Luckily, before the fire spread, Obito arrived and managed to put out the fire. This happened while he was also investigating another big corruption case in the government ....I'm worried...." Kakashi sighed heavily, "I am in the same tim with Asuma. I don't want...really don't want anything bad happen to you...." he continued.

Tenzo shifted in his seat, moving closer, his left arm touching Kakashi's right arm. His left hand that wasn't holding the cup held Kakashi's hand.

"Do you remember the first time we met, senpai?" Tenzo looked ahead, towards the night view of Konoha.

"First time?"

"Yeah... that time, when we were kids. Some kids bothered me after school. They deliberately took me to the deserted school yard. They grabbed my bag, took my bento and money. Then one of them had the idea to cut my hair while he found the scissors I brought in my bag for handicraft lessons. At that time I was really helpless and and affraid. Suddenly..." Tenzo smiled, then continued, "Out of nowhere a boy with messy silver hair and masked face appeared. He bravely faced and knocked out the naughty children himself. After they ran away, the boy came over to me, knelt in front of me, then gently touched my cheek and said, don't be afraid, you are safe now... " Tenzo then turned to Kakashi, "That's when, I told myself that I wanted to be with that boy, I wanted to be near him, side by side with him, accompany him, whatever happens, good or bad even dangerous....I want to grow old with him..."

They both looked at each other.

"Of course I remember that time. That was the first time I saw a very cute boy with a pretty long brunet hair and a pair of beautiful wide dark eyes...People call it love at the first sight..." said Kakashi smiling. He then cleared his throat, then put his coffee cup on the table and then both hands held Tenzo's hand. "So, you said that you were willing to accompany me, right?"

"Yes.."

"in good times and in bad?"

"In good times and in bad..."

"In sickness and in health?"

"Yes, in sickness and health..."

"And love me all the days of our life until death do us apart?"

"Of course I do, senpai. Why do you ask me like that? It sounds like a wedding vow, you know..." Tenzo laughed.

"It's a wedding vow..."

"What???? Seriously????"

"Of course, I am serious. Can I kiss my groom, now?"

"Wait....Wait a minute...if you really want to marry me now, then you have to give me a wedding ring, senpai..." Tenzo teased Kakashi.

"Of course..." answered kakashi. He then took something from his trouser pocket, a small red box. Kakashi opened it. Tenzo was so surprised. Inside the box there were a pair of silver rings.

“I, Hatake Kakashi, take you, Senju Tenzo, for my lawful husband, to have and to hold from this day forward, for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and health, until death do us part. .." Kakashi took one of them, then put it on Tenzo's ring finger. Tenzo looked at the ring, Kakashi's name was engraved on it.

"Will you?" Kakashi asked. Tenzo then took the other ring, then put it on Kakashi's ring finger, Tenzo's name was engraved on it.

"I really didn't expect this to happen tonight. This is really very very sweet, senpai... Thank you..." Tenzo was touched, he wiped his tears.

Kakashi smiled gently. "Now...can I kiss..." Kakashi didn't finish his sentence, because Tenzo had leaned forward and kissed his lips deeply. Kakashi welcomed the kiss. "Anytime, senpai...anytime..." Their foreheads touched.

"I love you, Tenzo..."

"I love you too...senpai"

I went to swimming pool yesterday. And when I was there, the operator played some sweet old balad songs from great singers such as whitney houston, celine dion, richard marx, and westlife... Then suddenly many ideas about kakayama appeard in my mind 😅

I just can't wait to write them!

Reading and writting about kakayama are things that can make me feel happy again during my hard days.. :)

Most people believe in angels. Some of God's angels were created to help humans. Sometimes angels even appear as humans to help them. Just like what happened that day...

That day, as usual, Kakashi was standing in front of a cake shop called La Petit. The shop sells various variants of sweet cakes.

Kakashi himself actually doesn't like sweet food. But there was one sweet thing in the shop that made Kakashi always want to go into it. The sweet thing was one of the employee who worked there. A young man with a sweet face, wide eyes and beautiful shoulder-length brunette hair.

Couple days ago, in one evening, Kakashi was walking home. Suddenly there was a sound from an alley. Out of curiosity, Kakashi approached the alley to find out what was going on.

"Stop it!!!" Said a person with shoulder length brunet hair. Kakashi couldn't see his face.

"What do you care? This is none of your business! Go away!" Said a big man. He appeared to be stepping on something. Kakashi tried to see more clearly what he was stepping on. It turned out to be a dog. The dog looked helpless.

"This is my business!" The brunet-haired answered.

"Is it your dog?" Replied another man who had a thin body and narrow eyes.

"No. But if you torture a dog, whoever it is, even if it's not mine, then that's my business!" Answered the brunet.

"Chassy! Watch out!" The big man stepped towards the brunet and wanted to punch him.

That's bad... thought Kakashi. He was about to step over to prevent the big man from punching the brunet.

But... to his surprise, it turned out that the brunet calmly put down the shopping bag he had been carrying and shifted to avoid the big man's fist. In just a short time, he was able to paralyze the two men, they then ran away. Kakashi gaped at the incident.

"Are you okay?" The brunet stroked the dog which was lying helpless as a result of being teased by the two men He then picked up the dog, walked over to the shopping bag, and took something from it.

"Here are sausages. Do you want some? Eat..." he said while holding out the sausage. The dog smelled the sausage, then licked it and ate it with gusto.

"Do you like it? Thank goodness... Actually the sausage doesn't belong to me, but belongs to the shop. But it's okay, I can buy it again with my money," said the brunet, smiling and stroking the brown dog. This time kakashi could see his face. So sweet... thought Kakashi.

Since then, Kakashi couldn't forget the brunet. Then Kakashi found out that he worked at La Petit cake shop. Actually, Kakashi really wanted to come in, and talk, or even get to know him. But kakashi didn't have enough courage for that. He was too shy and embarrassed. This was the first time he felt that feeling. The feeling is usually called falling in love. Fall in love at first sight.

Kakashi was still standing in front of the shop. He still hesitated. But if he didn't come in, how would he know the brunet. Kakashi took a breath then exhaled slowly. OK...this time I'll go in.

Kakashi gently pushed open the shop door and stepped inside

"Welcome!" Greeted a voice. The voice of the brunet who was standing behind the cake counter. Kakashi froze.

"Please come in...how can I help you?" The brunet asked.

So pretty... thought Kakashi.

"Umm...sorry...would you like to get some cake?" The brunet asked again.

Kakashi realized. He became embarrassed. Luckily his mask and thick silver hair covered most of his face. "Oh...umm...yeah..." he stepped closer to the counter.

"What cake do you want to buy?"

"Umm...I...don't know..." oh how is this, Kakashi actually doesn't like sweet cakes, so he didn't know what to buy.

The brunet smiled. "Maybe I can help. We have chocolate cake, cheese, tiramisu, strawberry, green tea, red velvet and mocha. What flavor do you like?"

"Umm... maybe chocolate...."

"Good choice. We have very soft chocolate cake. Would you like to buy a small one first?

"Umm...yes, I'll try the small size first...

"Alright." The brunet then put a small chocolate cake into the box.

After paying, Kakashi thanked him. Actually, he wanted to know the brunet's name. But how? It would be strange if he suddenly asked his name.

"Please come again," said the friendly brunet.

Kakashi nodded then turned and walked out. Outside the shop, Kakashi breathed a sigh of relief. Actually, he couldn't find out what the brunet's name was, but at least he had the courage to go into the shop and talk to him. There has been progress. Hopefully next time he can get to know each other and chat more. He walked home.

On the way, Kakashi saw an old lady wearing a white knit coat walking slowly while carrying a lot of things. The old lady seemed to have difficulty carrying the items.

"Excuse me....maybe I can help you, to bring the stufs?" Kakashi said.

"Oh... that's very kind of you. I really need help. Do you mind carrying these things?" asked the old lady.

"No problem.." Kakashi answered.

Luckily her house was not far.

"Just put the things in front of the door..." 

"I can help put it in..." said Kakashi

"No need. Just here is enough. You're very kind, son. I can only say thank you very much."

"No problem..."

"Oh, I just remembered. I have something for you..."

"Don't bother... I'm willing to help..."

"It's alright..." the old lady took something from the pocket of her knit coat. "I have a small bell for you..." she showed a short rope with two small bells at the end.

"Bells?"

"Take this..."

Kakashi accepted the bell in confusion.

"The bells are small. But it has special powers."

"Special power?"

The old lady nodded. "If you ring it, it can call someone."

"Someone?"

"Yes, someone you might really want to get to know, but you don't have the courage to do it yet." Said the old lady while blinking one eye.

Kakashi still doesn't understand.

"Go home quickly." she said.

Kakashi put the bell in his trouser pocket, then bowed and walked towards his house.

When he arrived in front of the house, Kakashi took the bells from his pocket. He looked at the bells.

"Is it true that this bells have the power to summon someone?" Kakashi then shook it. The bells rang, slowly but very melodiously. "But how could it possibly call someone..." Kakashi shrugged then put the bell into his trouser pocket again. As he was about to walk towards the door of his house, he heard someone shout...

"Heeeeyyy...wait...."

Kakashi turned his head, and was surprised. That's the brunet. He was running, running towards kakashi.

The brunet stopped in front of Kakashi while catching his breath.

"You...called me?" Kakashi asked.

"Yeah... sorry, I forgot to give you change. Sorry for my negligence... this is your money..." the brunet handed over a piece of money while bowing apologetically.

(Chapter 4)

Kakashi parked his car right in front of Senju Cafe. As he said when he took Tenzo home that time, tonight he came. He came to try the coffee provided at the cafe. He also came because he wanted to know what the inside of Senju Cafe was like, because at that time he didn't have time to go in. But...the number one reason why he came....was...because he want to meet Tenzo.

Today is Saturday, so Tenzo didn't come to his house to work as a nanny. That's why he want to see Tenzo. Kakashi himself felt strange, why he "want to" see Tenzo, and now when he was standing in front of the cafe door, for some reason his feelings were pounding.

"What's wrong with me?" Kakashi shook his head. He then inhaled and exhaled, then pushed open the cafe door.

Ting tong!

The bell hanging at the top of the door rang when Kakashi opened it.

"WELCOME!" Greeted a voice in its usual cheerful tone. That's Tenzo's voice.

Kakashi realized then nodded. He closed the cafe door then he walked towards the counter where Tenzo was. While walking, Kakashi could inhale the aroma of coffee and hear the strains of 90's ballad songs.

Kakashi sat in the middle seat, right in front of Tenzo.

"How are you, sir?"

"Umm...fine.."

I'm so glad you came here, sir...". Tenzo said it sincerely and innocently, without realizing that his words made Kakashi's face turn red.

"This is the menu, sir. What would you like to order?"

Kakashi cleared his throat to get rid of his awkwardness and accepted the menu Tenzo offered. "Thank you. Umm...I'll just order a hot americano..." answered Kakashi while looking at the menu.

"One hot americano. Alright. Would you like to order some food too, sir?"

"Oh...ummm...I'll order a cheese and smoked beef croisant."

"Okay. Please wait a moment sir, your order is coming soon." Kakashi nodded.

While waiting, Kakashi paid attention to the inside of the cafe. There are 3 tables with 2 chairs facing each other at each table. One table near the door, one table in the corner of the room, and one near the counter. A man and a woman were seen sitting opposite each other at a table near the door, chatting. Meanwhile, at the corner table, an old woman was sitting alone, knitting. At the counter itself there were 3 chairs, and Kakashi sat in the middle chair. Even though it's not spacious, the cafe feels comfortable.

"Thanks for waiting, sir. This is your order..." said Tenzo while placing a cup of hot americano and a plate of warm cheese and smoked beef croisant.

"Oh...thank you. Are you alone? Where's your aunt?"

"Aunt Tsunade is resting upstairs because of a cold, sir..."

"Oh...i see." Kakashi took his coffee cup, inhaled the aroma, then took a sip. "Hummm... really delicious..." he said.

"I'm glad you like it, sir."

"To be honest, I'm curious... when you made coffee for me yesterday, the coffee tasted much better than what I make. Even though I'm sure you made the sachet coffee that I usually make too, right?"

"Really, sir?"

Kakashi nodded. "How can you make it taste better?"

Tenzo smiled "Oh...that's a secret, sir..." he said while blinking one eye. Kakashi became embarrassed.

"We'll go home, Tenzo!" said the male visitor.

"Thank you very much for the coffee!" said the female visitor

"You're welcome, Izumo, Shizune. Please come again..." answered Tenzo while waving his hand.

"See you Grandma Chio!" said Izumo and Shizune while waving at the old woman who was knitting at the corner table. The woman looked up and smiled.

When Izumo and Shizune closed the door, Tenzo asked Kakashi.

"They look like a very lovely couple, don't they sir?" Tenzo said.

"They first met in this cafe, sir..."

"Did they?"

"No. I have another thing to do."

"What thing?" Genma asked again.

"It's personal." Kakashi answered briefly.

"Ooooh... could it be that you're dating the new nanny, huh?" Gai asked in a loud voice.

"Don't be inconsequential!" Kakashi said quickly.

"Kakashi...you've always been bad at lying. You must be having a romantic dinner with her, right?" Genma said.

Kakashi just sighed. "Alright, have fun, guys..." Kakashi was about to end the conversation.

"Wait! Wait! It's okay if you can not go to this bar tonight. But I think you should join the tomorrow night event..." said Gai.

"Tomorrow night event?"

"To celebrate our success, Anko suggested that there be a party at the office tomorrow night."

Kakashi and Tenzo were silent and the atmosphere became awkward again.

"Umm...I think the kids are waiting for me at home...so...I have to go home too..." said Kakashi while scratching the back of his head.

"Oh...you right sir...they must be...waiting for you..." said Tenzo.

Kakashi paid for his coffee and croisant.

"Umm...thank you so much for the coffee and the croisant...and also...for the dance lesson..." said kakashi.

"You're very welcome, sir. Thanks for your coming to night.."

Tenzo smiled. Kakashi then turned and walked towards the door.

"Sure. What can I do for you, sir?"

An hour and a half passed.

Tenzo closed Naruto's room, after reading five story books and he fell asleep before the fifth book was finished. It looks like Sakura and Sai have also fallen asleep in their rooms.

Tenzo came downstair. When he was about to sit on the sofa, he heard the sound of Kakashi's car. Tenzo looked at the clock. "He came back so quickly?" he thought.

Kakashi opened the door.

"Welcome home, sir. Umm...I thought you would be home late. Is the party over, sir?:

"Not yet. But my business there are finished. So I'm going home."

"Oh...and how about the couple dance, sir?"

"I didn't dance there.."

"Why, sir?

"Because...How can I dance there...if my dance partner...is here?"

Tenzo looked clueless.

Kakashi took off his jacket and draped it on the sofa. Then he took out his cellphone and played Whitney Houston's song, I have nothing. Then put it on the table. The intro of the song was heard and Kakashi approached Tenzo.

"Shall we dance?" Kakashi said while extending his right hand.

Tenzo was surprised, then smiled, and accepted Kakashi's outstretched hand. And they danced.

Faintly hearing music playing, Sakura woke up, then opened her room door He saw Sai squatting near the stairs looking down.

"Sai? What are you doing?"

Sai motioned to Sakura to lower her voice, then pointed downstairs. Sakura walked over to sai and crouched down next to him, then looked down at the floor. And she was surprised...

"So beautiful..." Sakura said in awe. "Feels like it's been a long time I haven't seen dad so happy like that...". Sai smiled and nodded in agreement.

Kakashi and Tenzo continued dancing. Until when the song ends and Tenzo finishes spinning beautifully...

Right in the lyrics 'I have nothing, nothing, nothing....if I don't have youuu....' Kakashi grabbed Tenzo. His left hand wrapped around Tenzo's waist and his right hand touched tenzo's cheek. He then whispered in Tenzo's ear "I will have nothing, if I don't have you...tenzo..."

Tenzo was surprised to hear Kakashi's whisper. A second later, a warm and comfortable feeling filled his heart. "Me too, sir..." Tenzo answered softly.

Kakashi's eyes meet Tenzo. Their faces inch closer....and closer...until they can feel each other's breath...

Suddenly...

"Aww...I can't see anything!!!" Naruto's voice of protest was heard.

"Shut up! Don't make any noise!" Sakura said.

"Sakura, you not only close his eyes, but also his nose...Naruto won't be able to breathe..." Sai said flatly.

Kakashi and Tenzo both looked upstairs...

"Guys???" Kakashi said surprised.

(Chapter 3)

Ting...tong!

The sound of the doorbell succeeded in waking Kakashi from his sleep, while the sound of the alarm clock beside his bed failed. Why? Because only Tenzo rings the doorbell this early, and that means.... it's 7 o'clock!!!!

"7 o'clock?! Oh nooooo...I'm late..." Kakashi covered his face with both hands.

He then forced himself to get up and immediately went downstairs to open the door.

"Morning, sir!" Tenzo's greeting was cheerful and enthusiastic as usual.

"Morning, Tenzo...please...come in...and...do your work..." Kakashi was still trying to gather his consciousness. "I'm already late...so...just start to do your work..." kakashi turned around and rushed upstairs to get ready.

Tenzo blinked for a moment to digest the situation. Usually when he arrived, Kakashi was already dressed neatly and ready to go to the office, but now he was still wearing his pajamas.

"No problem, sir..." said Tenzo as he entered and closed the front door, then walked towards the kitchen.

This is all because last night Kakashi had to work overtime preparing materials for today's meeting. "Excuse me, sir..." said Tenzo.

Kakashi turned his head "yes?"

"I made this for you, just in case you didn't have time for breakfast, sir.." Tenzo held out both hands. His right hand holds a bento box and his left hand holds a thermos filled with hot coffee.

"Oh... thank you... I appreciate that, but actually you don't have to..." Kakashi was surprised.

"No problem, sir... I also make the same bento for the kids..." Tenzo smiled. "Umm...I'm sorry sir, but I think your tie needs to be straightened..."

"Oh?" Kakashi tried to look at his tie which turned out to be crooked, probably because he had been in a hurry, but his hands were full.

"May I, sir?" Tenzo asked, offering to help.

"Oh...yes please..." answered Kakashi.

Tenzo then came closer and straightened Kakashi's tie and shirt collar.

"Well, it's better now, sir. And good luck for today!" Tenzo clenched his right fist while smiling.

"Oh...thank you... Well...I have to go now...so...see you..." kakashi opened the door, got out, and closed it. He took a breath and exhaled. A feeling of comfort emerged in his heart. He then walked towards his car feeling much calmer, doesn't know where the feeling of panic and rush gone.

45 minutes later Tenzo, Sakura, Sai and Naruto were already on the front terrace.

"Hurry uuuuup Narutooooo!!! We're all going to be late just because you took too long to tie your shoes!!!" Sakura said while smacking Naruto's head.

"...I'm trying..."

"It's okay Sakura, we still have time. You can do it, Naruto!" Tenzo said.

Five minutes later Naruto finished tying his shoes and they all rushed to school. As soon as the car driven by Tenzo arrived at the school parking lot, Sakura immediately got out and ran to her class, as did Sai.

"Wait Sai! You left your sketchbook..." Tenzo got out of the car and handed the sketchbook to Sai. "Have a nice day, sai!" Tenzo said with a smile. Sai just accepted his sketchbook then turned towards class without saying anything and without expression.

After that, Tenzo returned to the car and helped Naruto unfasten his seat belt.

"Naruto..."

"Hmm?"

"Before you get out of the car, I want to play with you for a while..." said Tenzo.

"Play???" Naruto was surprised.

"Yes. A role play."

"A role play???" Naruto looked confused.

After driving for half an hour, Kakashi's car finally arrived at the basement parking level. After parking his car, Kakashi walked towards the elevator. Usually he has to run because he is late after taking his children to school. But today he could walk casually to the elevator.

Kakashi entered the elevator together with 3 female employees. The three of them immediately became embarrassed, gave each other codes, and straightened their makeup. It was clear that they were happy to be in the same elevator as Kakashi, and it was no longer a secret that many female employees were attracted to Kakashi. Kakashi himself never cared about it because he wasn't interested at all.

Since Rin left 2 years ago, Kakashi decided to focus all his thoughts, feelings and energy only on his three children and his work. He didn't want to think about falling in love or anything like that at all.

Finally the elevator arrived at the 10th floor. The marketing floor. Kakashi walked towards his room. As a marketing manager, of course he has his own room. He put his bag away and turned on the computer.

"Wow...wow...what a surprise! Who's here so early?" Who's Genma?

"Aren't you always late, Kakashi?" Gai said.

"Morning Genma...morning Gai..." Kakashi greeted his two subordinates. Even though they were subordinates, they were kakashi's close friends.

"You didn't take your children to school? It's not Sunday, right?" Genma said as he sat at Kakashi's table.

"Someone has already taken them..." answered Kakashi while looking at his computer screen.

"Oh...who?" Gai asked as he sat down and crossed his legs on the chair across from Kakashi's desk.

"New nanny." Kakashi answered without looking away from the computer screen.

"Oooh... you finally got a new nanny..." said Gai.

"She must be a middle-aged woman, with a firm face, gentle eyes that can suddenly turn scary sharp, white hair pulled back into a bun, and a long-sleeved shirt and long skirt, right?" Genma guessed while crossing his arms over his chest.

"Umm... not really. The new nany is 3 years younger than me, with a couple wide and soft eyes, long brunet hair, not in a ponytail or bun, and so far always wears a t-shirt with a cat picture on it and jeans..."

"Really??? That means she must be so beautiful, right?" Gai asked excitedly while leaning towards Kakashi.

Kakashi thought. Tenzo may looks pretty, but he's a male....

"Who's so beautiful?" A voice from the doorway startled kakashi, genma and gai. That's Anko, the main manager of the architectural section at Konoha Corp and the only daughter of the director.

"Genma met a middle-aged woman, with a firm face, gentle eyes that could suddenly turn scary sharp, white hair pulled back into a bun, and wearing a long-sleeved shirt with a long skirt. And Gai thinks that the woman was so beautiful... "Kakashi replied casually.

Anko wore a clueless expression. How could a woman like that be so beautiful? "Genma and Gai are weird..." thought Anko.

"Is there anything I can help you with, Anko?" Kakashi asked.

"Here are some documents. Dad wants you to study them." Anko said as she walked to Kakashi's table.

"Oh... thank you. Sorry for bothering you. Why didn't the director just call me to his room..." said Kakashi

"Because I my self offered to take it here..." answered Anko while placing the document right in front of Kakashi and blinking one eye. "Okay. See you soon, Ka-ka-shi..." Anko turned and walked out of Kakashi's room.

"She didn't even care we were both in this room too..." Gai said with teary eyes.

"Well...it can't be helped. It's clear she likes Kakashi..." said Genma.

"You're really lucky, Kakashi. All the female employees, even the director's daughter, like you. You just have to choose which one you like to go on a date with..." said Gai.

"I'm not interested..." Kakashi answered while opening the document from the director.

"None of them caught your attention?????" Genma asked.

"Nope..." Kakashi answered briefly.

"Why??? Aren't they all beautiful and smart... and there are also some who are very rich, like Anko..." asked Gai.

"I'm not interested in them at all. I'm more interested in the assignment I gave you two last week. Hand me the report now..." said Kakashi, who was greeted with unenthusiastic complaints from Genma and Gai.

Meanwhile...

Tenzo, Sakura, Sai, and Naruto arrive at school. Sakura and Sai walked towards their school building. Meanwhile Tenzo took Naruto to the building next to him. Tenzo kept his promise to Naruto, after taking Naruto to class, he sat on a park bench in the school yard, waiting for Naruto.

Two hours later several parents came to pick up their children at kindergarten. The school bell rang. Kindergarten children walk out of their classrooms. Some left the classroom by running excitedly to their parents who had come to pick them up, while others left the classroom casually while chatting.

Tenzo got up from his seat, waiting for Naruto to appear. Not long after, Naruto was seen. A happy expression appeared on his face to see Tenzo kept his promise to wait for him at school. He immediately ran towards Tenzo and immediately hide behind him. Tenzo was confused as to why Naruto was hiding behind him and holding his shirt tightly.

"Orphan...orphan..." shouted a boy, followed by the laughter of two other children next to him. They mocked Naruto as they walked away.

Naruto tightened his grip on Tenzo's shirt. After the children had left, he released his grip. Tenzo turned around, then knelt in front of Naruto.

"Naruto..." said Tenzo while touching his cheek gently.

"Why... why did mom leave..." Naruto struggled to hold back tears. Tenzo hugged Naruto, he himself didn't know who and where Naruto's mother was and didn't know what to say.

After a while, tenzo said "How about I keep my promise? Treat you ice cream?" Naruto nodded in his arms. Tenzo got up, carrying Naruto, then walked to a new ice cream shop not far from there.

As soon as he entered and saw the various colors and flavors of ice cream, various toppings, and various colorful balloons that could be taken for free, Naruto immediately forgot his sadness.

"Well, you can choose the flavors and toppings you like..." said Tenzo as he put Naruto down.

Not long after, Tenzo and Naruto were sitting on the bench in the school yard. Naruto enjoyed 3 flavors of ice cream with chocochip and sprinkles toppings in his right hand, while his left hand held a red balloon. Tenzo sat next to him enjoying vanilla ice cream with walnut topping.

"Is it delicious?" Tenzo asked. Naruto nodded as he continued to lick his ice cream.

"You like it?" Tenzo asked again. Naruto nodded again while licking his ice cream enthusiastically.

"Thank goodness...." Tenzo said.

When the ice cream was finished, Naruto raised both of his hands while exclaiming "It's really goooood!"

Tenzo smiled, then asked Naruto. "Umm...naruto, can I ask you something?"

Naruto nodded his head happily.

"Those kids...are they your friends?"

The happy expression on Naruto's face immediately disappeared. He lowered his hands, lowered his head, fell silent, then nodded slowly...

"Do they always do that to you?"

Naruto nodded.

"Is that what makes you not want to go to school?"

Naruto nodded again.

"How did you feel when they did like that?"

"I....I....I don't like....I don't like them calling me that. But...I also don't like that mom is gone...why is she gone...why?" Tears started to roll down Naruto's cheeks. "All the children are always dropped off and picked up by their mothers. When there are events at school, their mothers always come, but my mother doesn't..."

They were both silent for a moment. The wind blows softly...

"You know Naruto...I myself have never met my mother..." said Tenzo while looking forward.

Naruto raised his face, looking at Tenzo.

"My mother died shortly after giving birth to me. So I never saw her face directly, I never heard her voice, and she also never took me to school or came to my school when there were parent events."

"Then who takes you to school or comes to school when there are parent events?"

"My sister" answered Tenzo while smiling at Naruto. "I used to feel jealous when I saw other children being dropped off or picked up by their mothers. Some of the children also made fun of me. So I often cried and was angry about why my mother had to leave me so quickly. Then one day my sister said, instead of spending time and energy on crying and angry, wouldn't it be better if I focused on doing everything with the best I could do, so that I could make my mother or the people around me proud of me and happy. Since then I decided not to cry and get angry anymore. I decided to always do everything with the best effort that I can do and enjoy it. So my heart feels spacious and light. Then I can be the champion in class and I always get the best score in every subject. That made me don't have time to pay attention to the ridicule of my friends, so in the end they themselves stop mock me." Tenzo's gaze was still directed far ahead. Meanwhile Naruto was still looking at Tenzo next to him, with a look of surprise and admiration.

"So...how about you focus on doing the best you can in everything you should do, Naruto? And enjoy it? Since the first time I saw you, I knew and I was sure that you were a tough, strong and great child... Tenzo said while wiping the tears from Naruto's cheeks.

Naruto nodded and smiled at tenzo. Tenzo raised his right hand for a high five, and Naruto patted it firmly.

"All right. We still have an hour until Sakura and Sai finish school. How about we go shopping at the market?"

"Okay. I want to buy a lot of chocolate and candy!!!"

"No..."

"What?? Why???"

"You've eaten too many sweets today..."

"But I want chocolate and candy..."

"No."

"I want..."

"No."

The two of them continued to argue while walking casually to the nearest market.

That evening, after dinner, Sakura, Sai, and Naruto went to their rooms. At 7 o'clock Kakashi arrived home. When he opened the door, Tenzo was standing near the sofa.

"Welcome home, sir." Tenzo said with a warm smile. Kakashi was a bit surprised, because it was unusual for someone to greet him like that when he came home from work.

"Can I go home now, sir?

"Yes, of course. You can go home, Tenzo."

"Umm... I prepared dinner for you, sir. Just in case if you haven't had dinner yet..."

"Oh...thank you very much..."

"You're welcome sir." Tenzo said as he bowed, then took his bag and went out.

After closing the door, Kakashi went upstairs. When he entered Naruto's room, Kakashi was surprised because Naruto's room was very neat, not as messy as usual.

"Wow... I'm surprised your room is so neat. Was there just a storm that put everything back in its place?" Kakashi asked while sitting on the bed holding Naruto in his arms.

"I was competing to tidy up my room with Tenzo. Tenzo divided my room into two parts, I tidied up here and he tidied up over there. The loser has to treat the winner ice cream tomorrow."

"Oh... I see... Then, who's the lucky one who will get an ice cream treat tomorrow?"

"Of course I am!" Naruto answered happily. Kakashi laughed while rubbing Naruto's head.

"Tenzo also brought me lunch, bear-shaped rice balls, cute and tasted very good too..."

"Really? That's good."

"Umm....Dad...."

"Hmm?"

"Will Tenzo come here again tomorrow?"

"Of course. Tomorrow he will still work here. At least for the next 3 months. Why?"

"I want Tenzo here..."

"Are you sure? Usually you didn't like previous nannies?"

"But I like Tenzo. I want Tenzo here, dad...forever..."

"Ummmm....Well... let's see then..." answered Kakashi while hugging and kissing Naruto's head.

After saying good night to Naruto, Sai, and Sakura, Kakashi went down to the kitchen. Not like usual either, this time the kitchen was clean and tidy. On the table there is a square bowl. When Kakashi opened the lid, what was inside was beef lasagna. Kakashi sat down, took a fork, scooped up beef lasagna and put it in his mouth. Kakashi chewed it slowly. Delicious...so delicious, he thought.

Coincidentally, he himself hadn't had dinner either. Usually he orders fast food. Apparently Tenzo is good at cooking and tidying the house. Kakashi also didn't expect Tenzo to get close to Naruto so quickly.

Even though it was only Tenzo's first day working here, for some reason Kakashi felt that his house felt more.....hommey.

Then kakashi thought about Naruto's words earlier, "I want Tenzo here dad...forever...."

"For...ever?" Kakashi muttered.
