Can I Help?
Summary: Being a single parent is far harder than Dean ever thought it would be. When he meets a woman who sees him struggling and asks if she can help him will he accept her help and let her in or keep his walls high and push a chance at love away?
Characters: Dean Winchester, Sam Winchester, Charlie Winchester (OFC), Julia Winchester (OFC/ mentioned only), You
Warnings: mentions of loss of spouse, Dean's self-loathing makes a tiny appearance, single parenting, parental stress, parenting a language delayed child, single dad!Dean (yes that's a warning), angst, fluff, guilt, and probably some bad language words because ... if you've read my stuff you already know.
A/N: This fic fill my @jacklesversebingo square for "It looks like you're in trouble there. Can I help?"
A/N 2: I am not a speech therapist but was in a language training and it gave me the idea for this fic. I hope you like it. Also this can be read as a one-shot or the first part of a 3 part mini-series (I guess) I wrote all 3 with the same characters in mind. If you're interested in the next two parts keep your eye out for Backyard Campout, and Doppelganger.

Dean knew that being a single dad would be hard but he hadn’t expected it to be this hard.
He sat on a bench at the park watching his precious daughter play in the sand box a few feet away and for a split second he wished that Charlie could just jabber and talk like the other little girls she was playing near. She was hard to understand and the other children already seemed to shun her over it and that was enough to break his heart but it was even worse when he couldn’t understand her himself.
They’d already lived through so many tears and tantrums it was enough to make him snap at this point.
