Summary: Dean had been injured a couple years back but survived. With the decision to retire set firm in his mind he decides to set out and try living in a few  different towns. After a few weeks he ends up in Florida where he runs into someone he saved 20 years ago. He begins working as a mechanic for her golf car repair shop and learns there were consequences of his prior time with her.

A couple days into their stay Dean had taken Sam and Eileen by the garage so he could show them where he worked and pick up his latest paycheck. They had made small talk with Ray, and Y/N for a bit. After stopping to cash his check and pick up some sunscreen and snacks they’d gone to the beach.

“Dean, I need to ask you something.”

“What’s that Sammy?” Dean smiled at his brother.

“Well, I guess I have two questions now,” he chuckled, “first off did you think we’d ever be doing this?” he gestured to imply them sitting on the beach.
