What agenda? If he hasn't been listening to them the last three years, what makes the caucus think he will next year?
"Madam Speaker, you have not brought floor votes on Medicare For All, extending the eviction moratorium or canceling student debt as you previously promised. You are out of compliance."
Imagine if the shoe were on the other foot and progressives weren't such cowards.
Earth to Jayapal and Our Revolution chair Larry Cohen: The progressives aren't gonna do shit.

Hedges pointed out on the Jimmy Dore Show that the funding sources for the Freedom Caucus are lavish and will remain no matter what while progressives largely depend on more traditional sources like the Democratic Party itself.
The end result is that the forces backing retrograde capitalist sources won't cut off Freedom Caucus members for rebelling against Kevin McCarthy 14 times while AOC and The Squad are much more vulnerable had they revolted against Nancy Pelosi even once.
Walmart, Amazon, Apple, Citibank, Raytheon, ExxonMobile, Alphabet and Goldman Sachs will easily adapt. Capitalism functions very efficiently without democracy.
Corporations who pledged to cut off funding members of Congress who denied the 2020 presidential election result only to resume funding them a couple of months later will serve as a template in the event neoliberalism gives way to neofascism.
So, as it turns out, Jason Call wanting to create a hard-left caucus due to the Progressive Caucus being useless was something that he got from Ralph Nader.
Call also said on a year-end show that Marie Newman actually wanted to push some progressive ideas through but that they told to fall in line. When she didn't, the establishment found someone from the Chicagoland political machine to primary her.

Well, you heard it from the horse's mouth.
Tell me why anyone should even try taking over the Democratic Party ever again.
The motherfucker just gave it away: If the House flips back to a slim Democratic majority in two years, the progressives aren't going to do shit and they will continue bending the knee to Hakeem Jeffries.
Fucking despicable!
A line has been drawn in the sand
Anyone who claims to be a leftist, socialist or progressive now has to choose: You're either with the rail workers or you're with the Progressive Caucus.
The time for making excuses for Bernie, Pramila and The Squad is over. Most of them sided against the railroaders.
Biden is not going to sign an executive order to make things right for the workers.
At a certain point, it's best to stop celebrating history for history's sake because Hakeem Jeffries himself noted that he's an enemy of the left.
The Progressive Caucus is fucking gutless part 70
There are not enough tomatoes to throw at Pramila Jayapal. 🖕🏾
When the Progressive Caucus does more to advance Biden's agenda more than the president himself, that's a horrible sign
Jason Call campaigned on the idea of shunning the Congressional Progressive Caucus and creating a more radical group upon getting elected.
While it sounds good on paper, that is what The Squad should have done 3 1/2 years ago when they got to Capitol Hill. That alone would have been a Tea Party of the left. That alone would have forced Nancy Pelosi to concede some ground to her party's left flank.
Since The Squad made nice with her though, that ship has sailed and being progressive running as a Democrat is a liability.
Like I said during all of the hand wringing over Build Back Better once progressives started showing more enthusiasm for the reconsolidation package than Manchin: Damn, does it feel good to be outside of the matrix.
I don't want to hear it from these frauds. They had their chance 15 months ago and blew it.
Force the Vote one year on
It’s now been a whole year since an effort to get House progressives to use their leverage to withhold their votes for speaker unless Nancy Pelosi promised a floor vote on Medicare For All officially collapsed when it was the right flank of the Democratic Party who withheld its support for the beleaguered speaker instead.
Lest you think that this was the only time in 2021 that this nonsense from the Progressive Caucus, let me remind you of the other stuff that happened.
Those fuckers spent more time propping up police--the Capitol Police to be more specific--giving more money to Israel after that country committed atrocities in the spring and increased the funding of the military industrial complex after it lost the war in Afghanistan.
Their eviction moratorium fiasco was nothing but a giant PR stunt. Five months after it expired, Congress still has no plans on voting to impose a new eviction ban.
