America was going to reward failure no matter who won. It was either going to be rewarding the same failed neoliberal policies of the past and a whole ass genocide, OR it would be rewarding someone whose previous presidency was chaotic, fucked up handling the pandemic, filled the swamp to the brim with ugly people like Eliot Abrams and John Bolton and presided over the largest transfer of wealth in history (plus tax cuts). Americans chose the latter option.
There's a lot to unpack here:
- The Dems' rhetoric not matching up with their actions
- "Fascism can be defeated at the ballot box" likely to backfire on the neolibs
- Establishment glad as clams that the anti police brutality movement lost momentum on this day three years ago
- This is "scratch a liberal and a fascist bleeds" on steroids as 1930s Spain and 2010s Greece have shown us
Unpopular opinion as someone who's not American but has to suffer it anyway:
If Trump wins again, it won't be the voters' fault for not voting "the lesser of two evils." It will be the Democratic party's fault for being evil too. Human lives are not negotiable. People are starting to understand that and taking action. Genocides are happening right now under Biden's administration. They have been happening under multiple administrations, Democrat and Republican. Because it doesn't matter who's the president, they all hate the Global South, and they will keep feeding their hunger for war and destruction. So what will change for us, the ones exploited by your governments and multimillionaire companies? What can we expect? Does it really matter who wins when they are all ruining our lives the same?
Nailed it. The voters dumping Genocide Joe for Genocide Donald won't change a thing in the Middle East
Become? America needs to build a giant mirror to reflect on what it has always been.
We're literally living with Fascism right now. This very moment. We have 4.6% of the global population, 20% of the incarcerated world population. We don't make or export goods, we consume them and export guns, bombs and fighter jets. Corporations have melded completely with our government, which essentially acts as the military and paramilitary arms of Wall Street, the literal definition of Fascism as given by Mussolini.
Couple that with the so-called Liberal establishment now being infested by Nazi apologists, and it's pretty fucking clear Fascism is here, in America.
It's only a matter of time before brown shirts are dragging people through the streets while the blue shirts will ensure we can't fight back.
The odds are north of 50 percent that the general population will just go along with it. There are plenty of reasons to fight back and very little's being done.
This is counterinsurgency in action. It gets uglier from here.
This is 🐂💩
Watch "Republican Politicians Happy To See Tucker Carlson Go" on YouTube
Of course Republicans are celebrating. They gotta support their fellow fascists in Kiev.
- No debates during the Dem primaries because the DNC wants to protect Biden
- Trump also wants to duck debates during the GOP primaries
- The RNC has already pulled out of the general election debates
- It's plausible that the RNC could give Trump his wish as he still controls the party infrastructure
- Given the detestable choices that the two-party duopoly is giving us, the lack of debates on one hand may spare us the indignity of seeing these chumps
- On the other hand, it's a sign that those in power are no longer interested in even pretending of having any kind of a fair voting process
I see that Middle America is back to pre- George Floyd attitudes on race after less than three years. 🖕🏾🖕🏾
The NY Post isn't an outlier
With friends like these...
i want to know what the liberal definition of fascism is because y'all keep saying we have to vote for anyone in the democrat party to prevent fascism but we've had a democrat president for three years and currently we are at:
-schools banning mentions of slavery, segregation, lgbt existence, and possibly even periods.
-a massive attack on internet freedom and online freedom of speech.
-rampant anti-intellectualism with an art teacher being fired for teaching about the statue of david.
-increased funding to police, many more police shootings, murdering of anti-police protestors and falsified domestic terrorist charges against land defenders.
-a push for an increase in manpower and funding at the border, and ongoing horrific treatment of immigrants and refugees.
-multiple laws across the country banning transgender healthcare, gnc or transgender expression, and transgender existence on sports teams and in bathrooms.
-multiple attacks on marriage equality, which the supreme court has stated their intention to aid, and attacks on the icwa.
and i'd like to know what part of this isn't fascism to y'all and why biden can't seem to prevent any of this but he can give money to banks and cops.
