Subaru catches Yuri sneaking out of the office one evening and asks him if he can tag along on his secret vampire hunt. Yuri, Tired, tells him that vampires aren’t real. Subaru responds with, “that’s exactly what a guy with detailed and personal knowledge about vampires would say!” Yuri, Tired and Now Frustrated, snaps at Subaru and says that he is not taking him anywhere and that vampires are anyways repelled by stupidity. Yuri of course instantly regrets his words and apologizes, reassuring a teary-eyed Subaru that vampires are real but that he just doesn’t want Subaru to get in harm’s way, also he is busy right now but he can hang out with Subaru later, when he isn’t swamped with work. Ryan is giggling around the corner because his plan of getting Yuri to be Subaru’s dad is going exactly as planned
