warning for things getting dark
This time with cutscenes fun!
Claudia actually moved a lot when Lady Dahlia's actor held him. It took a whole day for her to calm down Claudia in her arms. The scene where Dahlia appears with Claudia actually went through about 15 retakes.
Luke jumping on the sofa wasn't in the script. He was supposed to bounce on it while sitting, but Luke's actor was excited about the train filming set, so he ended up jumping on the sofa. It was so much better than what he expected.
Flora(Don Paolo) being surprised was her actor's genuine reaction. In her script it wasn't written that Professor Layton will point Flora.
This scene went through many retakes. First reason was that when Professor Layton's actor pulled the hat some of the wig fell off, second reason was that the cast laughed so loud when he took off the hat.
About the scene of Luke saving Janice, the part where he falls, spins on the machine, and jumps through wires were performed by a stunt actor. Even in the scene where he runs on the wire, he had wires hanging on him.
Speaking of wires, this scene is Professor Layton's actor hanging on wires too. And at the first take the wires went too fast and his hat flew away.
Professor Layton's actor fell on the floor on the first take of this scene. Don't worry, the floor was green screen, and he was just hanging on 7ft from the floor.
Descole throwing his cape wasn't in the script, but his actor did it because he wanted to. He just wanted to do it, that's all.
The sanctuary room is a real filming set, not CGI. Even the Azran lights were real. The only CGI was the flash when Aurora tried to put herself into the light. By the way the cast had trouble synchronizing their collapse.
Also, in this scene the background was a giant LED screen. Professor Layton and Luke's actors liked this because they didn't need to stare at a green screen and see some nice video instead.
I think I should make some of these for each game LOL.
If the first PL trilogy gets another remake or a console version, I personally want mini episodes to be added.
Cause I kinda want to see stuff like this.
Really, I want to see those small stories Level-5 didn't show us.
The 10th anniversary of Professor Layton
The Dragon Prince crew joked that the Avatar continent is across the sea from Xadia so you can’t tell me these interactions will never happen
if you see a grammatical mistake... no you didn’t ❤️
[ID: Five colored digital drawings showing characters from Avatar: The Last Airbender and from The Dragon Prince. The drawings are kind of cartoonish.
The first image shows Sokka and Callum side hugging while walking. They're talking:
The second image shows Soren and Zuko sitting on a rock. Soren says "So it turns out my dad is a crazy evil overlord... And my sister's also crazy for obeying whatever he says... And I haven't seen my mom in years... So I ran away to have a redemption arc." Zuko replies "That's rough buddy".
The third image shows Azula, Claudia, Ty Lee and Mai. Azula says to Claudia "Show me again you bent how those chains into snakes." Claudia asks "You mean Dark Magic?" Meanwhile, Ty Lee is behind Claudia holding some of her hair saying "Mai, look how pretty her hair is! Do you think it's natural?" while Mai is thinking "I like her outfit".
The fourth image shows Ezran and Aang, Ez is holding a turtleduck and Aang is holding Bait. He says: "I'm sorry you had to make all those hard decisions recently. I know what it's like. You just want to be a kid, but everyone's telling you to face your destiny." Ez replies "Thank you. I guess all we can do is hold these turtleducks and hope it'll be okay". Aang says "Exactly".
Finally, the fifth image shows Katara and Rayla. Katara is water bending and Rayla is terrified, with her hands in front of her trying to avoid Katara's water bending. She's saying "oh my gosh".
