How does the tyranids shadow in the warp interact with the ork's WAAAAGH field? Does it?
Octarius has shown us that neither meaningfully interacts with the other. The Shadow CAN still fuck up Ork psykers, because they’re actively drawing their power from the warp, but the gestalt of the WAAAGH seems to be a different application of psychic phenomena. Which, you know, fair. It really works as a background amplifier rather than an active warp effect.

If you want tentacles, you don't need Tyranids. It's Slaanesh. They're bound to be there.
Huh, can you imagine how confusing it would be for Orks to get corrupted by Slaanesh?
I think the only Chaos gods that can corrupt Orks are Nurgle (since Orks live in their own filth and quite resistant to disease too) and Khorne (self-explanatory). Orks are asexual and fungus, and they already see themselves as the perfect beings so Slaanesh would have no grip on them, and they're a bit too unpredictable for Tzeentch's liking.
Orks are tough to convert, but Slaanesh can stand for a lot of things. Perfection, ambition, obsession, an inflated confidence. Nurgle and Khorne we have a handful of examples stated, but I am actually fighting hard to not recall Slaaesh and Tzeentch-corrupted Orks that aren't like... 1st Edition old.
