This thing fucks so hard i seriously need to get back into Battletech I had the RAWEST scheme.

Some Catalyst Game Labs mechs I painted up in a generic DCMS scheme. Could probably have done the Draconis Combine meatball on their left shoulders a bit better, but its kinda small freehand at this scale, and making red on red pop is hard.

The secret is contrast over metallics! Something like Akhelian green over whatever the brightest silver paint you can get makes a super nice metallic colored effect. After that all you need are a few sparse highlights and you're cooking

(miniature) painting again for the first time in...13 years? Needs a lot of cleaning up and basing but I'll do that when I've finished all of them. Pretty happy with it :}
