For the writer ask thing, 5 and 15?
5. What’s a fic idea you’ve had that you will never write?
In miraculous, I wanted to write an Adrinette fic where the seat change in Chameleon stuck and Adrien and Marinette became close, writing each other notes and stuff, and coming up with silly ways to mock Lila. Together they kinda defang her without the whole exposure and revenge bits, but it never turned into anything beyond that so it never went anyway. And now, I don't think I would even try given that most everything connected with Chameleon is salty as hell and I just don't jive with any of it.
Most of my truly truly abandoned ideas are from old fandoms. I had a novelization of Chrono Trigger that I got about a third of the way through, and I had two more ideas for multichapters in Sailor Moon. One of them was a senshi/shitennou story about Venus/Kunzite that took place in the same universe as my Ami/Zoi fic, Invisible Wounds. In it Mina started dating a guy she THOUGHT was the reincarnated Kunzite, but is actually Ace. And he's super controlling and it's not great and she keeps trying to convince herself it's not that bad - he's like her soulmate and stuff so it has to work, right?! Anyway, eventually she decides it doesn't matter if he's her soulmate if this is what that means, she breaks free, but there's a super dark scene where Ace kills himself in front of her hoping it will haunt her forever - trying to continue his control/abuse. Meanwhile Kunzite, is actually there as her bodyguard. I don't think I wrote a scene in his perspective until the end, but I don't remember. I was trying really hard to make people THINK that Ace was Kunzite and that the body guard was just my own OC in the background as someone Mina liked to ramble at. Haha! Anyway, I think it was an ambitious project and I kinda fell out of the fandom around that time, so I never really wanted to bite if off.
15. How do you come up with titles for your fics/chapters?
I have no idea. I tend to keep my titles pretty simple. I like them to identify the central theme of the fic.
Chapter titles are especially hard for me and I tried not naming chapters for awhile, but then when I go back I'd have a hard time finding scenes. So now, I tend to just not stress about it and give it a title that's enough to remember what's in the chapter for me. I don't often read chapter titles myself, and maybe am mistakenly assuming that others don't either.
