This was drawn for @kasienda 's fic bend the world around it! I did a lot of experimenting with colors on this one and while I think I'd do some things differently if I redid it, it was a fun learning process and i really like the colors that came out of it!

ever since i read a rose by any other name by the wonderful @asukiess i’ve been thinking about loveybug’s cherry blossom petal skirt. in the fic she loses petals due to clumsiness, but i was struck by the vision of her with a skirt that endlessly shed flower petals as she walked, leaving a trail of petals in her wake like a bride going down the aisle. i based her design on autumn’s loveybug art since it was inspired by her fic!

Adrien Agreste: rich, lonely, freshly aware of the fact that he's expected to take over not a fashion, but a drug empire. Marinette Dupain-Cheng: broke, angry, freshly aware of the fact that bringing down drug empires is a blast. But where would she be without her team, Alya and Nino, and her very good friend, Luka? Not to mention the team’s newest addition, the kind, the funny, the ultra charming Chat Noir. If Marinette likes him, that’s alright, though. It isn’t like she’s dating Adrien Agreste for real. It’s all just part of her ten-step plan to make the Agrestes meet their demise.
Chapter 3 - Pandora’s Box (12,708 words, 3/32 chapters)
Adrien would like to walk along the edge of the curb with his arms outstretched. Like he used to when his mother was there, her palm hovering a breath away from his, ready to catch him anytime.
Instead, he scurries between patches of light on the crushed stone path of Place des Vosges. He doesn't understand why being late fazes him.
He shouldn’t even be here.
He should be up at the office, checking the CCTV footage with Kim to notify the police about the break-in. Or he should be at dinner, informing his father about today’s mishap. He shouldn’t be sneaking out under the disguise of meeting Chloé for drinks. And he definitely shouldn’t, under any circumstances, be searching for Carapace’s hooded figure in the shadows of the park.
In his head, Adrien knows that. But he follows his heart. And his heart rounds a corner with a leap, only to come to a halt in front of a well-lit fountain.

Chapter 2 - Ladrien - Goodbye Kiss
She’s out during the middle of the night again. It’s the fifth night in a row. Adrien watches her swing gracefully from one building to the next and contemplates joining her. But whatever is bothering her, she won’t share with Chat Noir. Each time he asked, she insisted that with him there, she knew they’d be fine.
And when she offered him the brightest smile - a smile he thought existed only in their Jubiliation inspired shared dream - he couldn’t bring himself to argue. And he spent the rest of their shared patrols making her laugh with his antics. He thought he had turned each of her nights around, but clearly any positive effect he was having wasn’t providing any lasting benefit.
Because each night, she was out again, clearly trying to run from whatever kept her mind spiraling in circles.
Before he can overthink it, he whips out his phone and flashes his light at her. And almost immediately she changes the trajectory of her current arc towards the mansion. It’s almost as if she was already watching him.

Tying an apron around her suit to bake him cookies for when he came home from class. Leaving him notes when they ran out of milk. Maybe they’d even go grocery shopping together—he’d look so cute being pushed around in the cart. And maybe they’d fall asleep cuddling on the sofa one night. Maybe even…nope. She wasn’t going there. “Probably not the best idea,” she said, hoping he didn’t notice the way her voice cracked. “Probably not,” he agreed.

I don’t think Ladybee was that great either. The design was perfectly alright, nothing I actively dislike about it. But I prefer both Ladydragon and her normal outfits.
