"I'm transferring you all to another branch to focus on your teamwork." Batman announced to the Young Justice League out of nowhere.

The news surprised the whole group. They've been together for quite sometime and had gotten alone just fine. Sure, they had disagreements here and there, but that wasn't enough for them to need more training, was it?

"We've been officially working together for a long time. Why do we need teamwork training now?" Robin asked, being brave enough to talk to the well feared vigilante that many were fearful to speak against.

Batman said nothing as he scrolled through the tablet in hand, obviously searching for something.

"Because you still have problems with your teamwork. You need the help of another team your age to get a better view point of what you're doing wrong. And hopefully you'll be able to learn about the different type of enemies

"Wait, wait, wait! Our age? You mean there's another team that we didn't know about?" Kid Flash asked, the news obviously being a surprise to him.

This news was a surprise to everyone in the group. All of them thought that they were the only young heroes that worked under the Justice League.

Finding what he was looking for, Batman opened a file and the team looked at the large photo that appeared on the screen. The photo contained four teens, just around their age if not older or younger.

One was a black teen with a red beanie, and Robin was surprised to see the bulky tech in his hands that he was using. What kind of outdated tech was this team using?

Next to him was a goth looking girl with raven black hair wearing a black short with a black and green plaid skirt. Her face was concentrated into a stern glare that gave Wally the shivers. The gun that she held in her hand didn't help either.

There was another girl as well. Her black hair down and resting against her shoulders. Said shoulders and the rest of her body covered by a black and red suit with a hoverboard against her feet and another strange weapon in her hand. A gun maybe? Red Arrow was curious to see her aim when moving on that board.

And the last kid wasn't standing. He was floating. With snow white hair and green eyes that seemed to glow everytime they looked at the photo. He looked to be around the same age as the other three, but he wore a black jumpsuit with white boots, gloves, and belt. On his belt rested a thermos? Superboy didn't see how such a scrawny thing could be of any threat.

One thing was similar was that how all of the humans eyes seemed to glow. Almost as bright as the- metas'? Aliens? -did.

"These are the members of Young Justice: Dark. They have been under the Leagues employment for three months, but they've been working on their own for almost two years and managed to stop several world ending disasters dealing with the supernatural."

The statement from Batman shocked the team. Them? On their own for two years fighting against the supernatural? Surely he was joking?!

"But-how? We've never heard of them, and they were world ending, we should've known about it." Robin argued.

"Because they've never left the threats leave their town." Came Batmans clipped reply. "There have been a few close calls, but all of them have been handled. As for why the League wasn't aware, there was interference that stopped the League from knowing about Amity Park. This is the team that took our place."

This was the team? Two years unsupervised against supernatural threats that they didn't know about and they still remained uncovered? Just how strong was this team?

"I'm assigning your next mission to work under them. For the time being they will be your superiors and you will follow their instructions if you come into contact with any enemy. Do not go against their orders or else it will be dire. With this, you will learn about threats stronger than you have faced and better yourselves as a team. Do not mess this up."

Ok, but the idea of a Young Justice: Dark has so much crossover potential outside of Danny Phantom.

"Outside of Amity Park, we've also identified several superhero teams," Batman pulled up the files, "most were provided by Constantine, but Cyborg and Booster Gold also provided a list whenever time travel or alternate timelines got involved. A lot of them are now retired or were never formal heroes. Quite a few of them have no real interest in the superhero lifestyle, but are willing to help."

"If they're our age, aren't they a little young to retire?" asked Kid Flash.

"Some of them have been in action since they were much younger than you," he explained, "while facing threats that would normally require action by the entire League."

He switched to the first image, showing a somewhat short guy with frizzy black hair and a pink jewel of some sort in his belly button, next to an even shorter girl with a sword that was almost as tall as she was.

"Steven Universe and Connie Maheswaran, seventeen and fifteen years old. They were transported to this universe in an incident involving their local teleportation technology. Steven is technically the owner of that version of Earth, but has no interest in ruling. Connie is an expert swordswoman and has taken down beings much larger than herself."

The next slide featured another Indian girl, but a bit taller. She had electric blue eyes and her red hair was drawn into pigtails. She seemed to be wearing some sort of high-tech armor.

"Sari Sumdac, age nine-.

"I'm sorry, what?" piped Robin.

"-artificially aged to her mid-teens by an alien crystal. She's from an alternate timeline's twenty-second century in which Detroit became the technological center of the world. She is a hybrid between a human and a robotic alien species called a Cybertronian."

"Should we treat her like a teenager or a nine-year-old?" asked Megan.

"I'm technically one," pointed out Superboy.

"Cybertronians don't have the same concept of age we do," read out Batman, "however, treat her as you are both comfortable."

The next slide had four teenagers, a Japanese girl with green eyes and auburn hair, a Chinese boy with brown hair, another Japanese girl with long black hair, and another Chinese girl with black hair drawn into pigtails.

"Sakura Kinomoto is posibly the most powerful magician in the world, at least according to Constantine. Syaoran Li is what JL Dark described as "magical nobility", as well as a powerful magician and capable swordsman by his own right. Meiling Li and Tomoyo Daidouji have no magical abilities, but are often seen with the first two and have contributed to the teams activities. Despite their power, this team is only to be contacted for support, as they have little combat experience."

Next slide, twins, one boy and one girl in their early teens.

"Dipper and Mabel pines, age thirteen. They are paranormal researchers credited with the destruction of a dream demon that Constantine described as..."

Batman squinted at the long line of cursing in the clipboard.

"...I'm not saying that in front of children. Consult only."

The final slide was taken from a telescopic lens and featured a blonde boy a black cat costume next to a ravenette girl in red spandex with black dots.

"Is this gonna take long?" interrupted Kid Flash.

Batman recalled the massive cabinet file in his office.

"Yes."

because my favorite ship for Jason Todd is now Jazz Fenton!!!! I can literally think of NO ELSE I’d like him to date, settle down, and marry than this cartoon character from a teenage ghost show! No Pre made character is suitable enough. If I made up an OC, she’d probably end up like Jazz with a different name.

I saw this post about how there should be no ship wars cuz of the multiverse in comics so everything I want is canon and everything you want is canon, we just stay in our respective earths, don’t try to remake each other’s earth in our image. So that’s good news because that means Tim Drake and Stephanie Brown are together forever in my earth!☺️ And Dick Grayson is forever with Bea Bennett!!😁

Is... Is this not how others see it?? It's why I love crossovers and AUs so much lololol. In my brain, they're all just different universes. Even those that look near identical, are different universes based on who their "god" (author) is. Some gods govern more than one universe, some share bits and pieces of theirs to try and inspire other gods.

I, for one, have multiple universes that sometimes have sub universes and fusion universes around them.

It's why I only get into fights when someone tries to invalidate a "universe" because it doesn't align with another "universe". If you don't wanna know about these universes, then ignore them and stick to your own because the multiverse is infinite and inevitable!

lololol sorry. Point is, it's weird finding out this isn't the normal mindset for fanfiction readers lololol
