She’s the love interest of the MC in my WIP The Knight Wars. Pride month is long gone but I would still like to make these kind on portraits of the rest of the main cast.

Aisha in Bi Pride Colors!
She’s second part in my series of The Knight Wars queer characters in their Pride colors. I have huge cast so I’ll focus on characters who are most important, but seeing how close we are to the end of the Pride Month, I won’t finish them all before the end :D But I’ll still post them even if a bit late!
Ace Pride Huzna
So in honor of Pride Month I made an ace flag color version of Huzna (one of the MCs from The Knight Wars). I was thinking of maybe doing similar pride flag versions of my other queer characters?

Huzna | The Knight Wars | POV character
Huzna and her husband Vasco came from nothing and created their own crime empire, The Way of Honor, or as the insiders call it, the Organization. She was never a fighter or a magician, but she was always good at making money and making people do what she wanted. Though after a failed assassination attempt on her and Vasco’s life, where their son was killed and she lost her arm, she had to learn illusion magic to control her new metallic arm. She’s not good at magic, but good enough to have movement in her hand.
But lately she’s been questioning everything. What was the point of this? What was all this power and money for?

Tyrfing | The Shield-Maiden Saga
Blood was pouring from the man’s chest. His horror struck eyes shifted down to stare at the pitch black blade, which had pierced his plated armor and even chain mail like butter. Suddenly his expression changed. His eyes went blank for a while and I thought he had died, until his now bloodied mouth turned into a twisted smile. He grabbed the blade with a bear hand like it couldn’t cut him and pulled it out of his chest. I couldn’t move. Run, I tried to whisper to myself. Then I saw the bored expression in Refil’s face as he wiped the blood of the black blade and sealed it carefully back to it’s holster.
“Tyrfing, please stop possessing dead people. It’s creepy”, he sighed.
The dead man laughed, but it turned quickly into bloody coughs. “For fucks sake I hate these human bodies. They just fall apart from mildest inconvenience.”

“Where I though I would have found the fallen dragon, was something much smaller and brighter instead. A lady? No this was no mortal woman. I could see her väki. It was so strong and bright it shone through her bones and skin. Her long hair seemed like real gold, glimmered like metal, and yet it seemed so soft. Her skin was in unnatural colors of soft lavender, cold cyan and warm pink.
It dawned on me. I was looking at a real life elf. The most beautiful one, I was sure.”

Romada the Pirate
Okay y’all I need to gush for a bit. I commissioned some art of my MC Romada from @kittensartswriting and holy cow look at how amazing this is! I’m blown away! Look at all that detail; you can see her eyelashes! And that muscle *heart eyes* I’m swooning. She is the picture perfect pirate! And her coloring is so gorgeous! I love this character so much and I’m so happy with how she has been brought to life. Thank you so much Karkki!!

Samantha can be relentless when it comes to taking and preserving family photos. She never misses an opportunity to pull out her favorite portable camera whenever everyone manages to get under one roof for a birthday, holiday, or a plain old-fashioned get-together. And with so many friends who have so many children who are considered to be part of her expansive family, it’s important to her to take pictures that commemorate everyone.
She used to collect photo albums. Hours were committed to organizing them by individual families and generations – by seasons and years, in some cases. When she first got with Edward, pictures sent with an official federal stamp were the only way they could physically see one another for weeks or months at a time. She still has every single one of them.

Aisha | The Knight Wars
I’m thinking of starting to flesh out the world and characters of The Knight Wars, so to get into that project again I drew the MC, Aisha. To remind you all what the thing even was (I haven’t talked about it much):
- TKW is set in a Victoria Era inspired world, so maybe some steampunk aesthetic?
- It’s crime thriller, noir, mystery and fantasy mashed together, plus there’s knights, nymphs, oracles, a dash of gothic horror and illusion magic
- Aisha, our main character, is a former ballerina/assassin, but now she does detective work. She embodies the film noir hard boiled detective character trope. Also she has schizophrenia.
- Militsa is another important character. She is a noble knight and she starts the plot when her husband, a son of one of the crime families in their city, is murdered and she hires Aisha on the case.
- There’s two warring crime families and also a third one that keeps out of the war, but they are not as innocent as they seem
