I should be asleep (it’s past 2am where I am rn) but instead I’m thinking about this scene from the pilot that’s on the cutting room floor that would’ve given us more Lucy Chen (and her epic orange Datsun) 😬💥 what do you guys think this scene could’ve been? My idiotic Chenford loving heart now would’ve been like “oh well she’s just out and happens to run into Tim” (because it’s the same clown liquor storefront from the pilot where Tim sees Isabel yaknow) but idk maybe it was just a late night Lucy scene where we could’ve seen where else she went off shift aside from the karaoke bar with Jackson and Nolan. 😅🥴👀

Rookie rant: 1x01 edition —

(I love to see it though, like come on he was impressed by her on day one)
Lucy’s looks at Tim (well first she was like “who tf is that?” That’s what her expression in that third photo made me think IMO) because she’s a concerned work wife & she already cares about what happens or in this case, what is going to happen w/Tim
And then the last few screencaps, you can not only see how broken up Tim is over seeing Isabel (for the first time in over a year), but how affected Lucy is by the whole thing. Not only was it a shocking thing to have happen or to witness, but she can see how it’s clearly affecting her TO, and her intuition is very useful here when Tim’s like “you’re not telling anyone about this” yes, Tim, she knows dude don’t worry she’s got your back and she’s gonna help you🥺
