may i present to you: my favorite dork, jesse lee soffer. 

You guys all know he’s my favorite character on “Chicago PD” (and probably in all of One Chicago if I had to pick just one), so whenever I get to write about Jesse Lee Soffer, it’s a good day. Check out my second midseason character report, this time on Jay Halstead! 😃

*jumps onto soapbox for a moment* IF TRACY AND JESSE ARE HAPPY, THEN I'M HAPPY. 💓🤗 regardless of what that looks like to/for them: whether that's their awesome offscreen friendship or onscreen partnership... they are finally beginning to let loose again and post more on social media because they are more comfortable. And we should be happy that they are happy, no matter what their romantic entanglements are/aren't/were/weren't. Their personal lives are their business, and while it's natural to be curious (um yes hello I'd be fine if they ever dated; or not- they're awesome together no matter!); rumors shouldn't ruin the fun for the whole fandom. Whether or not you're a fan of Tracy (or perhaps you're still not over Sophia's departure - RIP Linstead), or if you're not onboard the "Upstead" ship (Upzek was okay, I'll give ya that) - all the hate towards the actual actors portraying these awesome characters has no place here. It's ridiculous and mean and so uncalled for. *jumps down off soapbox* okay, speech over. All I'm saying is, real fans will continue to support Jesse and Tracy, regardless of who their characters end up with, or who they end up with IRL. I just hope they can continue to be happy; and that fans will allow them to be. 👍

Fetus Hailey Upton - aka: Tracy Spiridakos in Season 4, Episode 21 of “Chicago PD” (Fagin). 

How cute is she?! I remember how much of an outsider she was; but look at her now! She fits right in and is a breath of fresh air (despite what haters say). Tracy knocks it out of the park every episode. Protect Hailey (and Tracy, for that matter!) at all costs. ♡
