Even though Tim knows Lucy’s different, I think that it’s a normal reaction for him to be worried about Lucy going undercover again, especially since Isabel just came back in this episode. I think it brought those worries to the forefront of his mind, and I think he doesn’t know exactly what to do with all these thoughts. Lucy did acknowledge how he’s not good w/her going under, and I hope she can see that her original inclinations are correct. Tim just wants her to be happy though, so of course he’d be one to push aside his feelings in order for Lucy to do the job she wants to do.
I’m okay with the possible angst to come for them and for the drama is may bring because I have confidence in their relationship and I think that they can withstand this. I mean hell, they’ve been through much worse and gotten through it!
I also thought that while yes, it was a little odd for Tim to chuckle with Isabel about the meditation comment, I think it said more about how HE IS as a person (aka: not someone who’s necessarily calm or wants to use calming methods) and not a dig at Lucy’s suggestion. I didn’t see Isabel as a threat to their relationship either, so I didn’t understand the anger about her presence… but that’s just from my standpoint. To each their own (:
All in all, I thought the episode was good and I hope that Chenford makes it out okay in the end despite the UC mission Lucy will be on.
