AND THEN

after he goes on about how maybe Emmett didn’t take the relationship seriously b/c maybe Lucy didn’t; and then he could see he may have pushed a little too much so he backtracked by telling her the nickname he got in his rookie year for the car tagging 🥺😅

And of course later Lucy takes his advice into consideration. Cause she wants to “date for the right reasons”

so she ends up changing her mind about Tanner...👀
AND THEN GOD DAMMIT THE ROOKIE WITH THAT PROMO FOR NEXT WEEK I AM STILL UNWELL SCREAMING CRYING OVER IT:
